My toes/feet totally needed a little love. So a friend told me of this new place that just opened and she loved them. She even told me who to request. So I scheduled an appointment with this person. It was a pretty terrible experience. My feet were in worse shape than when I came in. The sides of my feet were not rough before I came in and when I left they were super rough. The massage on my feet and legs was painful and I was saying ouch and they just smiled and kept doing it until I pulled away. absolutely furious on my experience here. i've had the same nail tech for around 3 years. i ONCE cheat on her and everything is miserable. to start i booked for a SOAK OFF and full set. when i arrived nail tech was no where to be seen. i got confused when she wasn't soaking off my nails.. and the nails i had on had already been through 2 fills they needs to come off. her name is jenny. do not book with her. i also wanna state the fact she was clueless on the most simple details ever. she took around 45 minutes to shape them bc she only used a file not a drill. when the design came i had to get something i did not want bc she couldn't do it. one flower on ONE nail took her about 35 minutes to do. it was ridiculous. as far as being furious about that i paid $87 for one to fall off 2 days later . she filled my cuticles,burned me, and filled the wrong way. i'm so disappointed. read more

There is a nail salon within two miles of each other claiming to perfect nail dipping and offering sanitized pedicures. However, only a few can walk the talk and give the customer what they want without being handled as a head of cattle moving you in and out for profit but not Star Nails. I was impressed with the number of options for your pedicure, and so far the chrome over my dip is not peeling after a few days. The process seems to work without skipping steps as I have experienced. The environment is subdued as many technicians go about making sure they follow precise techniques to ensure your money is not wasted. read more

I was in the area for a work trip and saw the reviews were great so I stopped by. Big mistake. Service started off great, until their appointments started coming in and the walk-ins were shuffled around to various people. I chose a color for my nails and asked them to match my toes, you can see from the pic, they didn't even try. The person doing my pedicure was fine, until her appointment walked in. She rushed the polish and failed to take the acetone off my fingers. My fingers soaked until my skin started peeling. Someone else started my nails, then stopped because her appointment also came in. Someone else finished my nails and didn't do a great job. They were uneven. I asked for a refund, which was declined. If you're a regular, I'm sure the service is terrific. Walk ins? I suggest you walk in elsewhere. Also, I was here for 3 hours. I told the Manager I'd leave a Google review, and she told me to do it. Here you go. Added Yelp as well. Recently visited Star Nail Lounge for my second time, both to receive a pedicure. The time in the chair was enjoyable and I opted for matte black gel polish for spooky season. Within a day the polish began to bubble and on one toe the bubble has lifted in the center exposing my natural nail, the Polish is rough and uneven. I went back in to inquire about repair. The salon was busy and I was greeted by a nail tech. Explained the situation and requested a repair. Was quickly dismissed and asked to make an appointment. I explained that I lived 25 min away and was told I could wait but it would be 45 minutes to be seen, at this point I was just made to feel like an inconvenience. Not a single apology was made. After care is so important when this single service with tip was right at $100. I sent feedback through the provided link, no one has reached out. Word of mouth is so very important, it was why I chose your salon. It's unfortunate that now my word of mouth will likely discourage others. Seeing how busy your salon is I have no doubt you will not suffer the loss of my patronage. I was super excited to come to this nail salon because of all of the AMAZING reviews and pictures I saw of designs on Yelp. However, after I showed my design I was told they could do it and this was the outcome. The line work is terrible please do not waste your time or money. Hello. My daughter, her friend, and I were in this morning at 9:30 for deluxe pedicures. We all wanted the same color and two of us got one color and one got a different color. NONE of the colors were the color we picked out!!! We wanted a "Barbie pink" and we definitely didn't get it. I didnt say anything as they were painting because I thought it might lighten up with the sparkly layer, but it didn't and it was too late to have them redone because we had other appointments we couldn't be late to. We were all disappointed with our color. Then, when we got home (an hour south for two of us an hour and a half for the other) the two girls both had nails that were chipped!!! We just paid $150 for three pedicures. My daughter's friend even had shellac because they didn't ask her what kind she wanted and they just did it. The other two of us got regular polish. I'm very disappointed. We live far away and can't come back in to have them fixed. And we leave for a spring break trip in less than 24 hours. I hope you will find a way to make this right. For the second time, I waited 30 minutes before seeing anyone. A couple of weeks ago my daughters and I had appointments scheduled and we waited 30 minutes for our "appointment time" Now today I walked in and asked if they had time for a pedicure. When she said it would be 15 minutes and I should wait I said, are you sure or should I schedule something and come back? No 15 minutes... 20 minutes later I was seated at a pedicure chair.
