Found a Red Oleander Tree for less than $100!

Angela is always great at answering our questions when maintaining plants in the fall & spring seasons! We love the great selection available. If they are running low on something, they are great about telling us when to come back to check again. Star Nursery is much more affordable than Home Depot, Lowes and Moon Nursery for our needs. I 100% highly recommended Star Nursery for Las Vegas locals when creating and maintaining their outdoor landscapes.

I absolutely love the outdoors and planting flowers, indoor plants , and having a garden. With that said Star Nursery is my go to for all my gardening needs. Year around you can get all your essential needs to ensure your plants have what they need to grow and mature without any pests or disease problems . Their employees are so knowledgeable and their prices are very competitive.

I've been coming here for over 20 years and ms.Virginia helps me all the time to pick a good plants, trees and shrubs. I can't live without her picking a good ones. Because young ppl work there are kind of hopeless. Return window is in 30 days, but their price is way cheaper than any other places. Great selection and awesome Virginia. I love this place!!! They were all in small 1 gallon. Look after 20 years. You just have to take care of them and it's a lot of work.

last tree died. this is 2nd planting of tree 2 weeks after being planted. S.N. Tree Dr. says it will come back & is just shock.

Star Nursery is your typical shopping place for plants and planting needs. BEWARE about the trees that you pick to purchase. I was told that their trees are grown in Florida and some of them have trouble getting established in our Las Vegas Yards. One of the trees that might be considered to be one of the most troublesome is the purple leaf plum tree. Several landscapers I've talked to said we have many problems with them here. Nobody from Star Nursery told me about the problems with purple plum trees here. One problem is that these trees taste sweet to bores and they eat the roots. I never had those pests in my yard before and when the last dead tree was removed the hole was full of GRUBBY Bores. I had at least two of Star Nursery's Purple Plum Trees die and needed to be replaced (one was a back yard tree). This is the third one from Star Nursery in my latest picture. Dr Q from Star Nursery said is still alive and is just in shock but it looks like the ones that died before. This can happen to you.

50% off all pottery when my family and I visited Star Nursey over the weekend of March 22! It's been years since I've visited this Star Nursey location. It's off of Ann/Decatur. There are plenty of parking spots too! As soon as you enter the building, you'll notice all of the merchandise Star Nursery has to offer! It was super busy too! It wasn't too hot or cold outside, around 70! You'll also want to make sure to check the weekly ads for Star Nursery for any deals! Star Nursery hosts events too. In April, Star Nursery is hosting a Ladybug day giveaway! If you check Star Nursery's website, you'll find all of the up-coming events. Right now, the Spring Event Schedule is listed! Star Nursery has a wide range of landscape supplies, irrigation supplies, decorative rocks, pottery, garden tools, and so much more! My mom wanted to stop by here to pick up some plants though! Star Nursery has so many different plants available! Some of the options include the following Herbs & Veggies Palm Trees Fruits Shrubs Succulents Trees Vines While we were looking at all of the different plants, we noticed the koi pond with some turtles too! After looking at all of their inventory, we ended up purchasing some rose bushes! The check out process at Star Nursery wasn't too bad. Since it was busy, we had to wait about 15 minutes! The price was reasonable for their plants too!

I really enjoy shopping at Star Nursery. I have no success leaving empty handed. Selection for plants is vast, and I have a hard time deciding which plants I want! All plants look healthy and happy. The aisles are clearly labeled and employees are knowledgeable. There is an information booth on site where you can ask any questions about the plants. So far all plants I've brought home have been happy, healthy and clear of pests and diseases. One of my favorite things about visiting this establishment is the smells of the plants. Walking down the citrus trees aisle when the flowers are in bloom is so wonderful.

A good 9/10 people that work here are rude. Zero customer service. Was ignored in front at the register for a long period of time.

They have a bunch of recurring activity nights like Plant Bingo, Moss N Sip, Succulent Nights, candle-making, open mic nights and more. They also have a really nice space that can be rented for private events. The events are mostly around $40 and can be booked online. Events do sell out! We went for Plant Bingo and had such a fun time! I recommend getting there early to grab a seat. There were four of us, so we got a nice table together. They play 20 rounds, and even if you don't win bingo, you still get a 2-inch plant. I also really liked that they talk about the different plants between rounds. It makes it fun and you actually learn something and add some plants to your "want" list. They had 3 people helping with calling, showing plants and serving food. They have some food and drink options available, or there's a restaurant next door with some really yummy sandwiches. There's also plenty of parking, and surprisingly, there aren't a ton of other stores in the shopping center, so parking was easy. Such a fun ladies' night out and a great place to do something different!

After being a client for almost a year, we were disappointed with how our business relationship ended. Following the departure of the team member in early 2026 who originally established clear expectations; communication declined, scheduled visits became inconsistent, and invoicing and plant care lacked clarity. Our services were terminated with less than seven days' notice, even though there was no contract. We raised our concerns directly with the owner, but the issues were covered by saying 'you get a discount' not a meaningful way to respond in our opinion. We never asked or knew about a discount. Our advice is simple: get all pricing, service expectations, and termination terms in writing. Based on our experience, professionalism, communication, and accountability were lacking, and the way our account was handled left a disappointing final impression.

There is a plant availability list located on the website which also includes pricing. It is easy to find, but at the nursery sign you leave a paved road for a dirt driveway. The dirt driveway curves around and leads to a small parking area that offers a paved handicap parking space. The office is immediately to the left of the entrance. There were a few people in the office when I arrived. A ranger in the office helped me locate the plants I was interested in and were available. A few carts are available to help bring plants to the office and out to my vehicle. At the time, the greenhouses were not open. The plants in the greenhouses were being prepared for future sales in the Fall. Plant payment options are either cash or credit card. She asked for my name and phone number and entered that data along with the plants purchased in the computer. The ranger said that the data can be used if I ever want to know my plant purchase history. The prices for the plants I wanted were reasonable IMO. The penstemmon and desert marigold were of good size and looked healthy. It's a nice plant nursery offering pretty views of the mountains. I will return in the Fall to check out what is offered. The Ranger said to check the website for the Fall plant availability list around late September to early in October. I'm hoping the dirt road will get paved soon now that the nursery is open to the public.

Unfortunately, they're so slow growing, our grandchildren may eventually be able to plant them in their yards, but they'll be fun to raise until that time!
