The employees are extremely knowledgeable and helpful and are as friendly as can be. We dealt with Mike the owner this year and he went out of his way to help us find our perfect tree. After sadly we found out the wonderful Deerbrooke Farms tree lot had closed this year we needed to find a new tree lot. So, we decided to try this place despite marginal reviews. It was not so great. No one approached or greeted us as we entered the lot. Some trees were labeled with prices and sizes, but most were not. There were no signs listing the different types of trees or explaining where to find various sizes. Eventually we tracked down two young girls who tried to help. We picked out a tree and explained we wanted flocking and delivery and pickup at the end of the season. We were not offered free delivery but were told delivery was $25. When we filled out a form there was a weird choice of either $25 for delivery or a space where you filled in an amount you "promised" to tip the delivery driver for free delivery. They didn't mention this choice at all (and it seemed pretty sketchy), so we just paid the $25. We asked about pick-up after Christmas. First the young lady said they didn't do that. Then she checked with someone and said they did. She said that was included in the $25. We confirmed this several times. PS, you get a free bottle of liquid tree vitamins with a Yelp check-in. We got a call a day later that the flocking was done, and the tree was ready for delivery. It was delivered within about 15 minutes of the promised window. It looked very good, and it stood up quite well for the whole season. After Christmas we called to schedule a pick-up. The young lady on the phone made note of our preferred date. A couple of days before we called back to see if we could get the pick-up a bit earlier. We probably called about 5 times and left messages. Nobody ever answered or called back. We got a call the morning of the pick-up and said around 4-430pm would work. "Perfect!" The driver said. Around 4pm we get a call that they are doing a yard cleanup somewhere and would be 40 minutes late. An hour later I send a text to check; they respond that they're still tied up. About 30 minutes after that I get a text that they are 7 miles out and it will cost $40 for the pick-up. After some back and forth messages I was told that whatever I was told when I bought the tree was wrong, and pick-up is $40. Nobody had mentioned this at all until that very minute, but what could we do? Ultimately they arrived and picked up the tree about three hours after the time they said they'd arrive. The tree was very nice, but nice trees can be found in a lot of places. The customer service experience was bad, though. The total cost was about $240 for the six foot tree, flocking, delivery, and pick-up. About the same price we paid Deerbrooke Farms last year, but they provided service leaps and bounds above Rudolph's. read more

My wife and I were just recently married, and came here to get our first Christmas tree as it is right across the street from us in Tivoli. The purchase went ok and we were guaranteed the tree would "stay green through the holidays." We put it in a safe area of our living room, away from sunlight & heat, watered daily etc... within a week it started to lose most of its color. Within 2 weeks, it was turning yellow & brown on the tips of the branches. Still having 10 days until Christmas, we got a new tree from another place and decided we should claim our "guarantee" from Rudolph's as a matter of principle. This is where it got interesting... We calmly showed the staff photos of the dead tree, our original receipt, quoted the guarantee given by Joey (one of the tree lot employees). The staff said, "let me call my Dad over." Moments later, the presumed owner of this location comes out to handle the situation. He starts by defending his pride and location of 24 years and counting of selling quality Christmas trees. We reassured him that he had a good Christmas Tree business, but we must have received a diseased tree or one with issues. Even Apple sells a bad Iphone once and a while. He continued to defend his tree and said he would not honor the verbal guarantee his employee had given us. He was willing to replace the tree in that moment, but not give a refund. (Keep in mind, we bought their overpriced Christmas Tree stand as well, and did not ask for a refund for this, just the tree). He finally offered half of the amount of the tree after unnecessarily defending his dignity and pride for 5-10 minutes. He said, "I will give half of the price of the tree because I am a gentleman." We politely said a guarantee typically means a full refund if it is bad product, and a gentleman would give a full and proper refund without arguing. THEN HE LOST HIS COOL! He accused me of lying and threatened multiple times he would have us "KICKED OFF HIS PROPERTY." He raised his voice, threatened physical force, and would not honor said guarantee for bad product. My wife and I did not raise our voices a decibel throughout this conversation. Finally, he angrily pulls out a fat wad of cash kept by a rubber band, and throws three twenty dollar bills at us, red in the face. Merry Christmas. read more

My experience didn't start well with this place. I had originally bought a tree at one of their remote lots around town. I didn't end up getting my tree when I was supposed to. It was almost comical as to the issues I ran into. After having talked with the Boca Park lot (their hub), they apologized and ask me to come down first thing in the morning. I did but was skeptical if I would ever come to this place again. I talked to the owner, Mike, and he was very helpful and apologized for what has transpired. They ended up taking care of me and the tree I picked out in the morning was flocked and delivered to my house that evening. The tree is beautiful and the customer service I received was top notch. I have read that others didn't have a good experience but all I can say is that I will drive the 30 min to the Boca Park lot just for the customer service. Will be seeing them next year to get another amazing tree!! They have earned my repeat business. read more

So my daughter and I took a 30 minute drive here yesterday after lunch to pick out our Christmas Tree. Paid $60 to have it flocked. They said they would call us today to pick it up. Save yourself the trip of coming here, go to Home Depot or Lowes, it's cheaper, the trees are all covered and shaded from the sun, AND, you can actually get a CORRECT fresh cut. We purchased a tree on the 5th, $84 for a 5 footer, and it dried up in 6 days. Went back down to tell them the tree wasn't taking in any water. They were nice enough to exchange it for another one, they didn't look too happy to do it but still did. Well, same thing!! They all looked pretty dried up standing there in the dirt lot to begin with, but we went ahead and got a new one. Went to get the fresh cut, and the guy was drilling a hole at the bottom! So our artificial tree decided to barely work when plugged in and we needed a tree so my husband decided for us to look around and get a real tree this year since it'll be our kids first real tree to experience. Luckily this business delivers so that was a plus for us and our busy schedules. We immediately bought one through their website and chose it to have it delivered between 4pm-8pm since they do close at 10. As it got closer to 9, I kind of get iffy with it and decided to call to ease my nerves. The lady I spoke with did seem she was in a rush and busy but she definitely helped with my question as I wondering if it'll just be delivered the next day. This review is specifically regarding the Rudolph's Christmas Trees at Downtown Summerlin, but as I understand it these are run as one business. Let me start by saying two things; #1) Buying a tree from a place like this (instead of at Lowes for less than half the price) is SUPPOSED to be fun or at least NOT be miserable. #2) Some people should not be in a customer facing business. I was going to write a long review telling the story about how these people ruined the experience for our family, but I'll save you the trouble. These people are TERRIBLE! They are in a bad mood, yelling at each other, and all-out rude. They didn't want to help anyone and all we needed was for them to take our info down and take our money. THAT'S ALL WE WANTED! They could have smiled. Nope. The only time they seemed interested in talking was when they tried to sell us the crap they have their on their counter (tree freshener, some giant bag for throwing out the tree, etc.) and then when they told us to be sure to pay the delivery drivers (because they work on tips) for the "free" delivery. Of course we would tip the drivers, but the way they said it was accusatory and just flat out in bad taste. Long story shortened - Four and a half hours after our "two hour delivery window" (btw we can throw a rock from our house to Downtown Summerlin) we still didn't have our tree. After calling and being asked "Are you the lady who called and cancelled?" Huh? Yeah, we cancelled. That's why we're calling to ask for our tree. WTH? Anyway, finally I got back in the car and drove over to the lot where two EXTREMELY helpful workers (in the dark) were getting our tree ready. They did finally deliver it, but it took two trips to the lot, four or five phone calls to people who don't seem AT ALL organized and one LONG afternoon that ran until 9:30 at night. Please, please, PLEASE don't let these people sell trees in Downtown Summerlin EVER again. And YES! My letter is already on it's way to the Hughes Corporation, the managers of DT Summerlin, and anyone else I need to send it to in order to keep these rude money-grubbing grinches out of our neighborhood next year. We had a 10% off coupon from the pumpkin patch in October and she said, Oh the coupon doesn't work for small trees. Obviously she's lying. I have a friend that is doing the delivering for that location and she/he said she is really cheap and definitely lied. We let it go because it's 10% off. Because of my husband's serious health issues, going out is difficult. We decided to take advantage of the ability to order online and have a tree delivered. We ordered a 6-7 foot tree. First, the website said free, same day delivery. When placing the order, they would not honor the free delivery coupon code. After placing the order we learned we would not get the tree for 2 days. They delivered a tree that is barely six feet tall, so technically it meets the order but it appears they selected the smallest tree possible to meet the order criteria in letter if not spirit. It is vastly overpriced and a serious disappointment. We can't afford to go out and select a tree that will actually hold our collection of a ornaments. This is a terrible way to do business and no way to keep a new customer. read more

We went to the Rainbow / warm springs location after being disappointed from the prices and lack of enthusiasm/ helpfulness at the tree lot by IKEA. I have to say the workers at the rainbow location from the moment we parked had the Christmas spirit and were helpful even though we stated we did not have a lot to spend on a tree. They gave us a great deal on a 6.5 ft tree, offered free refreshments and tied the tree very well on our car. Thank you so much for a great tree and wonderful service! read more

My sister and I decided we wanted real trees for our house this year. We decided a lot because we have done gone in the past and it seemed more magical. Magic was not what we got. We looked around no employees in sight for a solid 30 minutes if not longer. We finally got someone's attention. My sister got a bigger tree of the same kind of tree (somehow hers was cheaper). Now I know we live further away but he was nice enough to give us a good price for delivery as my sister and I live blocks away from eachother. Well delivery we were thinking would be earlier in the day my sister waited around until she had to go to work at 5pm still nothing. They finally delivered around 6pm. They delivered the wrong trees. Both trees we originally received were of less quality to what we thought we were getting. My sister called and they gave her the right tree picked up the old one. Frankly I was already over it and just left it alone. Now they told us they would pick up the trees (making it seemed like it was part of the astronomical prices) but I was quoted $25 originally on the phone and my sister was quoted $25. They picked my sisters up and only charged $25z. Now after 2days of back and forth texts I was quoted $30-$50 because I live far. But he will clean up the tree mess and take it out of the stand, ummm he was already told the tree was already outside and ready to be picked up. This has been a nightmare. This is our first year buying a live Christmas tree as a family and we were really looking forward to the experience. The guys that were helping us were helpful and told us that they will deliver the tree for free. As we were about to pay for the tree, some dude that came out of no where said that the delivery is not free. I don't know where he came from and he didn't help us at all the whole time. I think he was lurking near the cashier stand. The guys that helped us throughout the entire thing looked apologetic. So we decided to stuff the Christmas tree in our trunk and through our back seat.
