The WiFi was good, the FHU's were good and the asphalt pads were fairly level. The bathrooms are clean and modern with plenty of roomy showers and sinks. Overnight guests will most likely be assigned to the D row, where the other one-night travelers are grouped together. The park has a somewhat institutional feel, with modular cabin buildings that each contain three cabins. The full-time RV residents are located in the back rows of the park. There is a fenced gravel dog run, but no swimming pool. I had planned to do laundry, but all three of the large washing machines were out of order, leaving only three small washers, which were already in use. Also, Wi-fi did not work very well. I used my cell service which worked much better. The camp store had very little inventory, and all of the refrigerated cases were empty. In addition, the area outside the office was fenced off and being used to store construction materials, which didn't make the best first impression. Overall, it served its purpose as an overnight stop, but I wouldn't choose it as a destination for a longer stay.

Otherwise, it's off leash just like at a dog park and it may not be a pleasant experience for you. The people part of the beach seemed nice but I couldn't go explore as we had our dog with us. It's a pretty spot for sure, but I'd rather go down to another beach/lake area which is much larger in order to have a better/easier experience when traveling with my pups, which is often so there's that.

They even have a dog washing station! Clearly they're a dog friendly RV park. Theres a lot of long term guests there, some who are working the lithium mines 60 miles away, everyone is friendly. Across the street there is a unique local bar, for adults to enjoy a drink and tables with ice cream and sodas for the kiddos. At the RV park, Multiple full hook up and non hook up sites. Amazingly friendly owners and townspeople. Super clean restrooms with showers and access to an indoor full court basketball. We went on Memorial Day Weekend and were able to purchase a fabulous full breakfast, watch a local parade and memorial service at the town cemetery. The speakers were heart felt, sharing personal stories of local residents father's buried in the cemetery that served during WW2 and both were POW's, and made it back to continue their lives in Paradise Valley, complete with the pledge of allegiance and the national anthem played perfectly on a trumpet.

When we checked in we advised the lady at the desk that we would be leaving at about 5:00 am to continue our trip home to California and that we needed a spot that would easily accommodate our big rig and allow us an easy exit. she assured us they could provide us with a good spot. As the evening went on they continued to sell the sites around us to additional over sized rigs and it will be a miracle if we are able to leave on schedule in the morning. The sites are small and are gravel and sand. Our awning is within inches of the motorhome in the adjacent site. There is no Landscaping and the place is ugly. There seems to be a lot of permanent low income residents living here as well, and this ads to the seediness of the park. Our suggestion is to avoid Winnemucca all together and continue on into Reno or California before stopping for the night. If I could give them zero stars, I would!
