We were looking forward to our stay at New Frontier RV Park, but unfortunately ran into a few issues that made our visit impossible. There was an active wildfire several miles away, and because I have asthma and am highly sensitive to smoke and poor air quality, we made the difficult decision to avoid the area for health reasons. I attempted to reach out by calling the number listed on their website, which turned out to be incorrect and only gave a busy tone. I then sent both an email and a text message to explain the situation. I did receive a call the next morning, which I appreciated, but was told they would still need to charge me for the night. I understand that businesses have policies, and that last-minute cancellations can be tough to accommodate. However, given the circumstances and the difficulty in reaching someone through the listed contact methods, I had hoped for a little more flexibility or at least some acknowledgment of the unusual situation. I'd recommend the park update their contact info and consider a bit more leeway in cases involving health and regional emergencies. read more

I manage RV parks, and the interaction from the front desk employee was absolutely terrible. We were driving through, and decided to stop for the night. The office was still open. My husband came in, and asked to book a site for the night. The employee stated that the park was completely booked. He comes back to the rv and relays the information. It is 6:30, and half of the park is empty. I can say 100 percent that this particular park was not completely booked. I know people book online, and than come in, and some spots might be booked, but with the park being in the area that it is, and with no events, there is no way that half of the park that was empty and was booked, every single person was running late. Let's say magically this park was completely booked, there was no reason for the front desk employee to be rude about the full occupancy. How you treat your campers, whether they end up staying at your park or not, matters. I would consider replacing your front desk employee. I would say, the male construction worker was very helpful, maybe he should be the face of the business. read more

Stayed here many times. The most recent stay left a bit of a bad taste with me. The receptionist was not rude, but certainly not friendly. I then had to sign some sort of release of liability/receipt of guidelines, etc. I mean I (one person) was there for ONE night, it's not like I was moving in. Park appears clean. The dog run is at the very end of the park and is all rock. I can't speak for the showers etc as we did not use them. We stayed 2 nights and both nights we noticed that they pack RV's in like sardines when there are plenty of vacant spaces throughout the entire park. It doesn't make any sense and of course it leaves you with ZERO privacy whatsoever. I'm sure they would say that the vacant spots are reserved when actually they all were empty each morning. Do better and space your RV's especially when you have the space to do so. Not recommending for the above reasons. read more

We were in town for a bowling tournament and needed a place to stay in the motorhome. We looked on Yelp and found New Frontier. We were no disappointed. Large level sites and very clean. They had a large dog area and also some grassy areas. If I had one complaint it is so dark walking the dogs around the park at night. read more

1 star only. Gravel sites, sites are very unlevel. No wifi. No cable hook ups. There must be 100 full timers living here. I would call it a trailer park with a few RV spots. Even the cabins here have full time renters. Nothing here for kids to do. Try somewhere else to stay. read more

Beautiful, clean place! We needed only 1 night so hot a pull through. We were going to pull in late, so I called, didn't leave a message - thinking they wouldn't call me back son enough of I did. But they called back, even without leaving a message!!! The lady was so nice and helpful. Due to booking through a third party site, my number what's correct so she updated that and said am email would arrive with after hours arrival instructions - I checked later and didn't have the email. I called later, and left a message as we would arrive after 9. They called right back! They got my correct email and gave great clear directions!! Definitely a great place to start whether for a few days or a little longer. read more

Very easy check in, quite clean park. Nice large lighted dog park. Sites level & asphalt. Not too close with easy pull through. Showers were outstanding with lots of hot water, very clean. WiFi wasn't too hot & cable was good. Site was so long we didn't even unhook so we could leave before sunrise to get on highway sooner. Roads were very wide making pulling in & out a dream. Nice store area. ***Only negative was staff were not requiring people to wear their mask per state mandate when indoors. This to protect themselves & travelers health. (Lives could depend on it) I checked in masked then immediately left. We refused to shop in store due to people indoors without mask. read more

As soon as we arrived I went into the office to register while one of the gentleman working there escorted my husband to our site, 28. This is an amazing RV park. Well taken care of by the nicest people you could meet: Georgianna, Ginger, Pam and their husbands. The restrooms are large with marble counters and showers. The water pressure is great as was the temperature. The laundry room very clean: washers $3.00/30 minutes work great. dryers $1.50/30 minutes also preformed amazing. I meet a woman, it was her first day of working there. Within five days she really took ownership in keeping the park up just like everyone else. We were in site 28, had an amazing view of the mountains until Friday when a camper took the spot across partially blocking the view. The park is located approximately 30 minutes from West Yellowstone entrance, quiet. occasionally there's a dirt bike or ATV going heading to lake. Has BLM land on one side and Forest Service on the other ...I could let my dogs off leash. My big guy really likes running. Henry's lake is not far from the RV park, seen several individuals fishing there. We didn't know it when we made our online reservations but they do offer Veterans discount. Awesome gift shop-FYI have better prices then Yellowstone gift shops. Sell propane, ice, and firewood Playground for kids Dog area in progress, looks like it's going to be spectacular. For a small fee a few of the employees do dog walking for you. Pam and her husband looked over our boys one day. This allowed us to visit areas that required long walks in Yellowstone National park. I was concerned since both my boys can be pullers and Pam is petite. They did an awesome job, Pam said the boys didn't pull at all either time they walked them. She sent me a picture of them on their walk...really eased me. I cannot stress how kind the people working here are. As we were leaving, my husband had hurt his elbow and was having the hardest time getting the sway bar hooked...assistant manager John came right up and hooked it on. He had a lot of knowledge since he has been RVing for 19 years. I would definitely recommend and I hope to come back. Thank you all. read more

What a nice stop! Wide spots AND level. Which is nice for an overnight stay so we didn't even need to detach the trailer. There is a popular restaurant there but they had a problem with staffing (Covid I assume) so they didn't have a table for us. But I heard it was nice. They have a fenced dog run and all the hook-ups you can ask for. We had 4 bars for cell on Verizon so we streamed without trouble. Best part was after Yellowstone the price was amazing with the Good Sam discount. We chose a non-premium back in site and it was $40. Cannot beat that! read more

Clean - pull throughs have good distance between them. Did not have to unhook 5th wheel with site being long enough. Restaurant, bar and casino within walking distance. Rate restaurant a 3. Due to short staffing. Nice dog park Mostly over night stop unless you have some reason to be in Winnemucca. We have stayed here 3 times great stop going between cal and Boise. read more

We stayed overnight on the way to Carson City from Salt Lake City. We used RV Trip Wizard to find it. The park is clean and beautiful. The sites are paved and very level. It is right off I80, so easy on and off the interstate. If we are in the area again, this is definitely a place we will return. Park staff were great and offered advice on places to eat. read more

After horrible overnight experience at James M Robb Park Colorado with no shower & running water, this place is heaven. Shower (only 3 but pretty big & good warm water) & toilets are very clean. There are sinks at 2 different end of the bathroom area. I haven't met a single soul in it. But as others mentioned there's only 1 for the whole area so its best if you can park at row E-G, spot 1+, 16+, 29+. Wifi is not very strong though and no shower gel provided. Weather is pretty cold in winter so dress warmly when you walk to the bathroom. read more

September 27, 2022. We're back! We are headed to Yellowstone again and this is our first stop. Nothing has changed. The grounds are immaculate and so are the bathrooms. It's truly big-rig friendly, sites are long, level, and paved and the showers are big, private and clean. The check-in was efficient and friendly. Views of the surrounding mountains are nice. The park is well maintained and lovely. We stayed in late August and it was not crowded. Very quiet and safe. Restrooms have coded entry. They are so clean! The staff is helpful. (There was an accessory we needed to make our equipment work - they sent us right to Ridley's Market & Ace Hardware - which was super helpful.) This park is clean and quiet. The showers are huge and very clean with great water pressure. I lost a small diamond earring and assumed it was in the shower. I looked around but couldn't find it. I asked the desk if anyone had turned it in but they hadn't. I assumed it was lost but the friendly staff said to leave my name and phone number, just in case. Amazingly the house cleaning staff found it! I'm so grateful to whoever found it and for New Frontier mailing it to me. They didn't charge me for shipping even though I had asked them to. No internet - had to go inside main office area to access. Smell from sewer/septic wells is pretty strong. NOT a good dog area as it's just asphalt and rocks under the hot desert sun - extremely hot -for their pads - dog run is all rock, suggest dirt and grass for the furry ones. Grass is around, but dogs not allowed. Spots are large enough for long RVs with slide outs and vehicles if towing. Not enough shade in this young park. It's clean. read more

One of our favorite stopping points mid trip. New frontier has been a great stopping point on our adventures to and from California. It was even our honeymoon spot . Although it seems like we always check in after hours and leave before the office opens, our reservation is always easy to get in too. We have only stayed here when we have our trailer. We stayed in a fifth wheel travel trailer for two nights. Everything about this park is first class. Plenty of room between sites. Gravel and paved roads are in great shape. There are plenty of amenities, including: store, laundry, dog park, cable, Wi-Fi, etc. Staff is friendly. The only thing that this park lacks is tall trees and a feeling of county camping (not a remote outdoorsy park). The park is large with many RV's and park models. read more

Rv park is nice and the mix of the mature trees with the younger trees is nice. Park has larger than normal roads to the parking spurs, offering easy parking for both back in and pull through spurs.
