Very nice RV park! So glad we stopped here for a night on our way from Boise to June Lake (halfway point) the ladies in the office were so nice and accommodating! We had a reservation next door at the Winnemucca RV park but had concerns based on their reviews so we drove in here first and the gal in the office was able to not only accommodate us but also transferred our payment over from the other place because evidently they are under the same company just different management! Thank you so much!! Very clean here! It's all gravel and everything is well maintained. Large bathroom/showers, a pool, 2 doggie areas (no grass though) kind of like large sand boxes but very clean! They even have a dog washing station! Clearly they're a dog friendly RV park. Theres a lot of long term guests there, some who are working the lithium mines 60 miles away, everyone is friendly. The positives: Our spot was ready when we arrived and was ample in size with full hookups. The RV park is easy access off the 80 which was an added bonus. The office is closed Sunday and Monday but the self check in process was clear and they had our reservation info ready. They have a small playground and a dog washing station. I didn't go into the bathrooms...so no advice on that. The downsides: It seems part RV park part trailer park of sorts. There were many trailers that appeared permanent and lots of big dogs outdoors in kennels set up. They have a koi pond that is in need of a deep clean. The pool looks decent but if the office is closed (all day Sunday and Monday) the pool is closed as well, which is a bummer. Overall: An easy pull off for a night of rest before hitting the road but not quite the place you'd want to hang out outdoors in the evening for ambiance. read more

We stayed at Silver State RV Park in late July in site 72 with our 28' TT. Site 72 is FHU with gravel and is pull through. It has an old creaking wooden picnic table and no shade. The WiFi was decent and cell service worked well. WATCH OUT FOR THE WIND GUSTS. We Almost lost our awning. Pulling into the park, there was no signage or markings telling us where to park for registration. Checking in was easy and the front office staff were friendly and helpful. There's a little shop inside selling swag, ice cream and a small amount of groceries. Silver State RV Park is one of those parks that looks WAY better online than in person. The interior roads have huge potholes, the pool water is about a foot below where it should be, so the filters are barely able to work. The pool tables in the front office are warped with only 3 functional pool sticks for 2 tables. The bathrooms were immaculate and the showers had plenty of hot water. The signage on the lady's room is missing, so it's a bit confusing where to go unless you walk to the other side of the building to see it has a men's sign attached. Most of the people staying at Silver State are permanent residents. People passing through are assigned front spaces. There is a koi pond at the entrance with a waterfall. Silver State RV Park has seen better days. We got the impression that it's best days may be behind it because nothing looks like it's been improved for a long, long time. A much nicer, modern, park is just up the street called New Frontier RV Park. We would stay at Silver State RV Park in a pinch, but it wouldn't be our first choice. read more

Definitely would never stay here again. The woman who checked us in was quite friendly but definitely made it clear, in an off-handed way, she was not thrilled with the fact we were there before the official check in time. Here's where I'm unhappy with this... As we pulled into the park to go to our spot we drove to the back of the park to turn around and point in the proper direction for our pull through spot and we came to the realization that the majority of the spots are occupied by RVers who live in the park 365. All kinds of junk outside the RVs. Next, we get to our spot and there's a bunch of dog poop in the space. So, I could see her having an issue with us coming in early if they took the time to clean the RV spot (as good parks do) but it was clearly not the case here. The only nice grass area is at the office/pool area. Oh, and by the way, if you want to use a pool there, make sure it's filled because it was empty during our stay. The park was also very noisy. Lots of traffic and loud vehicles. read more

The women in the office, Laura and Dixi are so friendly. Tim and Micky who work on the site are also very kind and helpful. It's a beautiful RV park that is family and pet friendly. Some people do live long term (as most parks offer) but they are nice hard working people either staying for work, traveling, or just living the simple life. I highly recommend this rv park. Our stay was on 8/30/24 and If I could give it ZERO I would. I suggest no one every stay here unless you want no sleep and dirty/unmaintained sites. Our tent pad had weeds/brush growing up into it making it impossible to find a decent tent spot. Trash can was overflowing, table was half melted, other half covered in bird poop. More of a trailer park for permanent people vs a camping/RV spot. Pool was ice cold even though it was in the low 90's, (hurt your feet to even stand in it since it was ice water cold), on top of it, tree dander, dirt, insects, etc floating all over, and the bottom had a complete ring of dirt around it. People partying with loud music all night, racing motorcycles, someone grinding on some sort of metal, and of course no one on site to speak to. Basically, if you actually want to have a good time or get any sleep, go somewhere else. read more

RV park is as nice as any others. Showers are hot and bathrooms cleaned daily. The power wasn't working in our tent site and they sent out a maintenance person to fix it right away. For the price this is a great place to stay! read more

Some one parked in my space. The general gentlemen in my space said he had a reservation but his space was closed so he had to pull into to my spot. He left messages but got no response. He offered to leave. There was am open space so that where I parked. No support from the park and no response form the park. The gentlemen and I and also another late arrival had no bathroom code and no way to get help. Don't stay here unless you are here during office hours. read more

We had reservations, and when we pulled in, as stated in one of the other reviews, there was no signage telling us where to park to register. Another guest had to show me where to retrieve our registration and camp spot information. Thank goodness he helped because the office is closed on Sunday, which means the pool is too! We stayed here for a overnight stay. It was convenient off the freeway. The park does need to be spruced up a little bit. Staff was really nice. Pool area looks better in pictures. Restrooms look like they need to be remodeled. Since it was just for a overnight we left early the next morning. read more

Don't bother stopping here. We had a spot up front where we couldn't even open the awning because of the trees. Also they advertise a nice pool but it was murky and green. Advertises heated pool and it most definitely is not heated. It is also dirty. Spots are narrow and everything is gravel. A lot of permanent residents that park in the road making it narrow. read more

We weren't too imprssed with this Park. First thing we noticed were the goathead stckers everywhere on the property including in our site. The garbage cans were full. There were trees, but no grass. All of the sites had hot gravel. The pool closed at 8 PM as did the store. Store was small, but Park was close enough to go into Winnemucca to big stores. Bathrooms were okay, but not super clean. Goatheads in the dog run. Even though the park was mostly empty, they put someone right next to us, and the sites weren't all that wide. Pros - There was a fenced park for children. Cute cabins. Pet area had a wood fence with sand and a place to give your Fido a bath. Easy to get to off I-80. Cost was reasonable compared to other RV Parks we have visited. As improvements, I would suggest they invest in a Hula Hoe for the Goatheads, or a propane burner to sterilize the ground and get rid of them for a few years. Don't park your clients right next to one another, when there are plenty of spots open. Put at least one spot between them. read more

Very nice place, pool table inside the little store where you check in, nice pool 3-8 feet deep, play ground for kids, doggie area & dog wash too! I would definitely stay again. This park was a disappointment. We have stayed here in the past and every stay it just gets worse. This year when we were checking in we were told of evictions due to criminal behavior. We were told they don't stock the bathrooms with toilet paper and if we need some we have to go to them and ask. Just what an adult that paid to stay wants to hear.. Then our cable didn't work. When we called we were told it had been out for two weeks. They could have told us that when we booked our stay 4 days earlier. Next it was the pool, first it was not heated and second, because I do pools as part of my job. I always travel with a colorq test kit. You would be surprised what you can catch from a public pool. Long story short their pool had no detectable disinfectant present in the water. All and all just gross. I rarely leave reviews that are this negative, but I would stay clear of this place. read more

Not a friendly park...made reservations and had refrigerator issues which made us have to cancel so I called the park to cancel and explained my situation to them and they charged me any way So I called back to see if they would give me a refund and they told me I had to speak to Bob the manager so I called the park four different times to speak to Bob or have Bob call back and never have heard one word. There are plenty other parks in the area that are a lot cleaner and more accommodating than this park and when we did arrive we stayed at the new Frontier Park down the street and was perfect nice paved pull through sites restaurant and casino and the price is the same. Silver State park prices are to high for what you get. Happy Camping safe travels. read more

I'm here to state that the "narrow road" and "water pressure" comments are not an issue for our stay. We have a 38' 5th wheel with 3 slides, a 3/4 ton truck and navigated to our pull through spot with no issues - water pressure at the writing is fine. Currently, as they explained upon check in, there is no hot water in the front building. No idea how long it has been that way. If we have any issues, I'll update the post, but so far, we are good. So, arrived at 2pm. On a Monday. Stayed 1night. No park employee in entire park. Paperwork was ready for us and note on door for any without reservations. All good at this point. On paperwork had code for wifi, for restrooms. We were up front so needed restroom, tried code, tried again, husband tried, not working. Was warm so planned on swimming, NO WATER IN POOL. DECIDED TO PLAY GAME NEXT TO CLUB HOUSE. NICE GLASS TOP TABLES. AS WE PLAYED WERE 5 OTHER CAMPERS COMING UP TO DOOR, EACH ONE DISAPOINTED THEY HAD KNOWONE TO TALK TO. IT WAS STILL BEFORE 4:30 PM. 1 left. Went back to our camp to watch TV. Had wrong way cable connecter but put piece we keep for that purpose. Ran our scan on TV, then ran again and 3 or 4 more times. No cable xame thru. Although the park is kept very clean, Has a decent sized dog park, cute little playground, walking to the othe bathroom with injured hip, no swimming, and then no cable, I felt I had to give a decent park the low score due to no service nor services. ​ read more

This a very nice campground. Close to freeway but not so close that the noise is a problem. Very clean. Lots of pull thru sites. Nice and level. Bathrooms are super clean. Nice laundry. Stayed in their deluxe cabin while visiting my sister in law who had a death in the family. The cabin was $130 a night plus tax. For that price we expected room service. We stayed from Saturday night to Tuesday morning. Sunday morning we found out that the office was closed Sunday and Monday and not only was there no room service, but if we wanted to check out and move down town to a motel for half the price with room service, breakfast, and a jacuzzi, that was not possible because there was no one there to check us out. read more

Nice clean facility. Loved the bathrooms. Unfortunately, pool hours weren't open early enough and too cold to use. Slides at playground have unsafe drops; need to be closer to the ground. Spoke to 3 different staff members separately and they none were very helpful. It's a bummer since such a nice facility but lacking in service, except for super nice lady in phone who took our reservation. Specifics: 1. Boy on golf cart seemed put off that we asked where playground was. Saw him later and he still seemed in sullen mood despite us being friendly. 2. Saw cool little area behind pool that looked like it was for some games. Asked that kid and he simply said it was his second day and he didn't know then walked away. 3. Girl in store on her phone the whole time. We saw ice cream tubs all without lids and the the freezer top opened. We let her know but she just shrugged and said it was ok and went back to her phone.
