I have gone to him with requests of replacing parts on my Civic and I've heard him say this many times... "Why do you want to spend money when you don't need to?" He has saved me from over spending multiple times. The garage allows me to bring my own parts and they would charge me only for labor. No other garage allows you to bring your own parts because they make at least 30-40% markup on the parts. The best favor you can do for your ailing car is to bring it to Model Service!

I was originally quoted $770 for a transmission fluid and filter change. Upon arrival, Jesse changed the price to $904. After I declined, I was called back and quoted a "revised" price of $530 for just the pan and fluid. When I dropped the car off, I called back a few hours later for an update. Jesse said he was about to start but changed the price a fourth time to $650, then mentioned if I wanted the filter changed (which we had already discussed) it would be $750. When I questioned why the price had changed five times in one week, Jesse became extremely aggressive and began shouting. He refused to service the car and told me to pick it up in 30 minutes. As I was leaving, Jesse followed me to my vehicle, opened my car door while I was inside, and began yelling insults and making physical threats. Note: I took the car to the Audi dealership immediately after. They confirmed there was NO transmission leak and NO pan issue. The "leak" was actually a $20 fix (a missing oil cap from a previous service). Jesse attempted to charge me nearly $1,000 for a repair I did not need. Summary: Unreliable pricing, predatory diagnostics, and a total lack of professional safety. If you value your car or your safety, avoid this shop.
