This place is small location right next to the mobile gas station near sprouts and post office. The place is fast, efficient and professional. It's so nice to get paperwork done in less than 15 minutes! I came right at time of opening and I was the first customer. Pretty good smog check but some employees know more about cars than others. The ones that know more naturally are more helpful. Luckily if your car doesn't pass the first time they're pretty good about giving you extra time to get it resmogged. Longer than just the standard week fortunately read more

My new go to place for smog checks. I had been waiting 3 hours at the DMV to be told at 3:45pm that I needed a smog check (even though the next one wasn't due until 3/2018). I wasn't sure if any place would get it done it time to make it back to the DMV before closing. I called the nearest smog place, Star Station had my smog check done in under 10min! The guy at the counter was a jerk I had a coupon for $37.95 and because my car was a older than 1996 he wanted to charge me $50. A shop 2 blocks away also had a coupon for $39.95, I called them while I was at the counter and they said that was fine for my car. The guy here would not make a deal, iand said" Its a great deat @ $50" I guess he did not want to make $40 today. Yes, it is a little more work to smog an older car, but WTF, about 5 min more, you dont want the business? The place down the street @ 13965 Poway Rd is much better, great attitude. I mentioned what happened and they said that he used to work for them and you can figure out the rest.... I found this place on Yelp and so far I can't say I'm disappointed at all. I got here a little early and luckily they took me in before they opened for the day. They say it'll be approximately 20 minutes which is awesome. They saw me checking in on Yelp and hooked me up with a coupon. The customer service here is great. If you're looking for a quick in and out smog check place this is the one to go to. This was so quick that I barely had time to compose this review and put my phone in my pocket. Was in and out in about 15 minutes (and there was actually 1 car ahead of me). Everyone was very friendly. I would definitely go back again. I had the yelp coupon but because my car is an SUV it was slightly more, $56 which included all taxes and the certificate. Came in one morning during normal business hours. The person inside said they were closed due to someone being sick. I'm giving 3 stars due to the inconvenience of having to come back the next day and the price of the service. It was $8 dollars more than I usually pay due to some certification fee, which I have never paid before at other locations. read more

Great experience. I called them 5 minutes before they were closing and they said "don't worry, come on in." I got there about 10 minutes after they were supposed to close and they were waiting for me. They had my smog done in 5 minutes and I passed! They also gave me a coupon price with no coupon. My Registration was about to expire in a couple days and I was procrastinating on doing the 2 year smog check! My girlfriend recommended this establishment to me as she had done it a year ago on her car. I was nervous my car wouldn't pass since it's a 2002 Civic, getting up there in years. We arrived and parked right in front of the garage opening. In the afternoon at 2:00PM on a Tuesday is a great time to go. The technicians were courteous and extremely quick. I must have only sat down for what felt like 5 mins and they already finished! And I was so worried I wouldn't pass but I recommend going for a 30 min drive to get the catalytic converter warm just in case. Maker sure to use the coupon too!
