The AAA driver recommended the shop, and I'm so glad he did. George, the owner, is a genuinely kind and honest gentleman. He spent about 20 minutes carefully diagnosing the problem and told me, very transparently, that it wasn't something his shop could fix--that I would need to go to the dealer for a replacement part. He didn't charge me a dime for his time. That level of honesty is rare. Since then, I've been going to him for regular maintenance on my older vehicle, and every experience has been excellent. The team is consistently professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Pricing has always been fair--no pressure, no upselling, and absolutely no price gouging. Recently, I needed help with a bumper issue on another car and found out George also runs a body shop in San Marcos. Even though they're normally closed on weekends, he made a special exception to meet me there. When I asked if I could pick up the car at his Rancho Bernardo location after the repair, he didn't hesitate to accommodate. On top of that, my car was extremely low on gas, and he told me not to worry about it--he'd take care of it so I could get back without any issues. That kind of above-and-beyond service truly earns lifelong customers. It's rare to find an auto shop that combines honesty, skill, fairness, and genuine care for customers. I was disappointed Johnny did not point out the hood was scratched, so I had to go to the owner, George to get that repaired. The repair took a long time for a simple item then the car was damaged. When I complained they were not easy to deal with. Repair #2 Valve Gasket Covers on my 2005 ML500 $780. The job was done in less than a day, but when the car came back it smelled of gas so badly I called European Auto Care back but was advised they would not be able to review the problem for at least a week. The recently repaired valve cover still leaks, my new mechanic found a stripped screw among the at least five (5) loose screws - whilst re-securing the cover. European Auto Care needs to address some important issues.

The noise progressively worsened over the following weeks until it became clear something more serious was wrong. We brought the car back to Valvoline and they told us to take it to a mechanic. We took it to an Acura dealership who knows my car, and they found the transmission fluid had not been properly drained and replaced during the service performed by Valvoline. We now have to pay over $3,400 to repair the damage, and Valvoline refuses to take responsibility. Avoid this place, and if this is Valvoline's stance on how they do business, I would avoid them altogether.

DO NOT GET SCAMMED LIKE I DID! I've been bringing multiple cars to this shop since 2022. That ends…read morenow. Less than 2,000 miles ago, during an oil change, I specifically asked them to check my brakes and was told they "looked good." After recently hearing metal-on-metal, I brought the car back and was told I needed new brakes and rotors. Only then was I informed the brakes had not actually been inspected because the tires couldn't be removed--something that was never communicated at the time. For context, this same shop replaced my brake pads and rotors less than 20,000 miles ago, which makes this situation even more concerning. I was quoted $900 for the repair. I got a second opinion and found a more reasonably priced and transparent shop. This raised serious concerns about whether I was being properly advised in the first place. When I declined the repair, I was told the vehicle could not be taken unless it was towed, requiring me to arrange and pay for a tow just to retrieve my own car. Given that this involves a critical safety system that I specifically asked to be checked, the lack of communication is unacceptable. After years of trusting this shop with my vehicles, this experience showed a clear lack of transparency and accountability. Lesson learned. I will be reporting this. Do not go here.

My 2014 Kia Soul has given us all, Elizabeth, her tech Sergio & I such a headache since they replaced the catalytic converter on May 9th! The check yellow engine light would not go away for the whole week! Kia started sputtering, acting like she's got chills or going to go into a coma shock every time I drove it out of their lot! Blessings to Elizabeth & her tech for sensing it's time to replace the co2 sensors as well, (which turned out to be a whole new issue!) Don't want to spend tons of time explaining how bad my cars problems were, from jerking while stalling at every stop light to hearing a clucking sound coming from the engine, to thinking the car is going to die and not start back up. Even after replacing the co2 sensors, the yellow check engine light would light up on their scanner device. Making me think, never again in the future to purchase Korean cars! It does matter to replace "some parts" with its originally designed part for, in this case the co2 sensor. But, I do want to relay that Elizabeth isn't just a front desk girl who's there to collect payments. She clearly cares a lot about my car & is very knowledgeable! She spent a lot of time learning about co2 sensors, its purpose and functionality, while multitasking with other customers cars that needed servicing as well! Elizabeth went far out, contacting any Kia dealership in all of San Diego to find the part & luckily Kia Dealership's down in National City were heaven sent, they not only had it in stock but even delivered the part to her shop! Bravo Can't thank you all enough for saving my car, the time it consumed working to figure out its issue, to the integrity everyone showed as a solid team to get their customer back on the road again stress free! Now I can go get the stupid smog check by Monday afternoon!
