The exterior they missed lots of areas so I used the red towel they left on the windshield to wipe down outside my Rover. Context, A few days ago we got a flat tire. Seeing how expensive brand new tires were getting, we bought a second-hand pair and had the repair team install them. They were able to slip the rims into the 'new' tires we brought in, they balanced it, they even offered to rotate them. All-in-all it took about 15-20mins. Quick, easy, caring, and reliable. Unfortunately, last week I got an oil change at this Walmart and left with a pretty expensive repair needed on my car. I initially came in for an oil change, treatment, and fuel system service. When I left the location, my skid guard over my wheel was not reattached properly and fell down on top of my tire. I went to the store to reattach the skid guard properly or take it off if they were unable to do so he Called his manager and stated that I could go online and order the new part and they would reimburse me the following day. The tech then Proceeded to cut off chunks of my skid guards above Both front wheels. In this process, the tech also cut the wiring under my skid guard as well. When I went in the following day, the auto center managers were both initially dismissive. The manager, Francisco offered to pay the Cost of the repair in order to from making an actual claim with the store. During this process, I requested to see the film of them working on my car and they refused to allow me to see the film. Went to caliber collision to get an estimate The preliminary cost was 771. At this point, I contacted the manager to follow up and he stated that we would have to make a Claim. I'm now going back-and-forth in negotiation with the Walmart insurance company, which is an internally Run and owned insurance company. Additionally, the tech at caliber collision said that the repair could take up to three weeks. In the future, I will be going to actual mechanics, even simple things like oil changes, but I would be aware that this Walmart has negligent techs Does not have a lot of consideration.
