Steven and Richardo are the most honest repair shop front end managers you can meet. You might not like the answer, but it's the truth and the best they can possibly do. I have been a regular customer for three years now. Recently, I was low on oil and strapped for cash for a regularly scheduled oil change. But stupid me overfilled it. The check engine came on. After calling Steven, he said Paul, check if you overfilled it. Sure as shoot. I HAD. He said clear the check engine light by undoing the negative of the battery and go get an oil change. ZIP ZAP ZOOP. BACK TO NORMAL. Any place else would have milked you. These guys pride themselves on integrity and customer service. That is why I will never go any place else for my truck maintenance. I opted for a filter and an oil change. And John W. Said that he would take the fee off of the invoice for the oil filter. However, that was never the case. He didn't want to give me a printout of my receipt. He wanted to give it to me via email. In hopes that I wouldn't see it. When I requested a paper receipt, he said oh well normally people don't ask for that and we customers OK and proceeded to print out the receipt. So I called them requested to speak to him, called him out on his BS and his lie and he proceeded to say well maybe it's the taxes is this guy certifiably retarded. possibly.

I've had a number of oil changes performed at this business. After my last oil change, I noticed…read morethe smell of oil coming from my car. I pulled over and noticed that the oil filter had loosened. Luckily, I had only lost about a quart of oil in 5 miles. I tightened the filter and returned to the business to have them top off the oil. They were willing to do so and then charged me $16 for the oil top off that their mistake caused. I wrongfully assumed that the oil filter staying installed until the next change was implied with my purchase. Clearly they don't stand behind their work. Buyer beware. One star is being generous.

I had gotten an oil change at one of the quick-service places on the peninsula, and they had left out a gasket/seal that caused my oil to leak. Danny called me immediately and told me to take it back to the original mechanic, but I declined and instead entrusted my vehicle to Marina Tire & Auto. They had me in and out in under two hours, the same day, and I felt much more confident driving my vehicle. ALL the staff I've ever encountered are super friendly and straightforward.
