The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating when it comes to scheduling. The new facility is also really nice, and there's plenty of parking, which makes appointments a lot more convenient. What I appreciate most is that the rehab hasn't just been about doing basic exercises; they've worked with me toward actually returning to sports and making sure I'm progressing safely. I've been able to get back to being much more active, and my confidence has improved a lot since I first started. During that time, I tried just about everything under the sun--gym workouts, cortisone injections, PRP therapy, stretching, TENS therapy, myofascial massage, Graston scraping, countless YouTube videos, and a limited number of basic physical therapy sessions allowed by my healthcare provider. While some of those provided temporary relief, nothing solved the problem. Exhausted, discouraged, and out of options, I finally decided to get some proper physical therapy with Victory Performance. Since I've started, I've been really impressed with Victory's friendly, easy-going atmosphere. Everyone is always welcoming, and it just feels like a place where people genuinely care about helping you get better. My physical therapist, David, has been fantastic--knowledgeable, easy to talk to, answers all my questions, and is genuinely invested in helping me recover. After my initial evaluation, he identified that one side of my lower body was significantly weaker than the other, causing my body to compensate in ways that were contributing to my foot pain. He put together a personalized strengthening program with progress goals that we've been working toward along the way. It's only been a couple of months, but I've already noticed a significant improvement in my feet. This is Jason for you. The first time I walked in he was able to tell within seconds that I had a herniated disc in my deck years before I took an MRI. And that was just by looking at me! He is simply incredible. He is also up to date, always offering suggestions for alternatives to surgery of course, but even to PT when applicable. He is a healthcare professional before anything else and his number one goal is for you to get better. When I do have pains, I repeat the PT exercises that the therapists taught me to get relief. The facility is clean and well equipped with needed PT devices and equipment. The front office almost never answered the phone, and when they finally did, I was hung up on mid-scheduling. Because it was so strange, I went in person. It only got more bizarre. The front desk staff didn't greet me, didn't acknowledge the phone issue, and acted irritated that I was even there. I walked in politely and was met with hostility. I was given multiple contradictory excuses for why I couldn't be scheduled -- that I was a new patient (I wasn't), that my referral wasn't authorized (it was), and that she was "training someone all day." None of it made sense. Eventually, the staff member literally scampered out of the building in the middle of our conversation, saying she "had to go to the other office," for no apparent reason lol...leaving me standing there with no explanation or path forward. The trainee didn't even know her name. I asked for her name very calmly, and the same calm cadence I had maintained the entire time... and she genuinely did not know the name of the person who had "been training (her) all day". Oh boy. I've been to clinics with far fewer resources that operated with more professionalism, clarity, and basic courtesy. Whether they had an attitude or hated their job or not things get done -- and I will say I haven't always had the best demeanor never rude never unkind, but I have been my own kind of frustrated or discard told in the past I'm sure, but in this case not at all not whatsoever, I couldn't have been more neutral, and by the book, as far as everything I had for the appointment prepared, and as, as I was given the fact that I had to go in person just to reach someone after over a month of Weight time from this Referal, that everyone knows in this situation takes quite a while, and clearly in this situation specifically, this Referal was a physical therapy one which indicates some sort of physical discomfort, injury, etc., which I don't feel I need to even explain here nor there it's insane even writing this right now is giving me war flashbacks. This was genuinely one of the strangest and most stressful interactions I've ever had in any medical setting. Now that I think about it, I think she ran out of the office and made up a reason because she didn't want the other people in the waiting room to hear the insanity.
