Had an accident happen that resulted in my Z Fold6 inner screen being damaged, yet still turning on…read moreand "functioning" to an extent. I set up a warranty claim through Asurion and took my phone to the shop with the front cover screen still functioning perfectly fine. Whichever tech was fixing my phone should probably not be fixing any Samsung folding phones. Following the "repair", the phone would no longer turn on...at all. The technicians said they followed all of Samsungs troubleshooting and promptly filed a full replacement. I have now lost priceless family photos, passwords, etc and all for what was supposed to be a routine screen repair. While Asurion/ubreakifix has said I should be receiving a replacement tomorrow. I find it unacceptable to not additionally compensate for data lost and the near inability to access security software needed for my job due to this colossal screw up. I understand that accidents happen, but just replacing the phone does not cut it in this case.

I call them inquiring about a cleaning for a PS5, its the latest model with the disc drive. Little background on the system, I bought it off of Facebook Marketplace, I tested it, everything was good to go. The main issue was that it was plagued with roaches and dust, I of course told them this beforehand, they said it wasn't a problem. So, I take it in to be cleaned, we get a ticket logged for me, and I was told he'd test it first to make sure everything worked before he could even start to clean it. Everything was good to go, about 4 hours later I get a text message saying its ready. I go to pick it up, I pay the ticket, it was $90+ after taxes, unfortunately I had my Son with me and he was running around the store, cuasing a fuss, so my initial thought was, he said he cleaned it, so he cleaned it, and we left, I should've looked at it right then and there... Once I got home and actually looked it at it properly, I noticed a few things with one of them being major... So the first issue was that, I payed them to clean it, and they barley did that... They didn't clean the console properly, or the outside plates. If you look at the pictures I attached, you can clearly see dust and dirt every where on it like they just blew out the fan and grill... I cleaned one plate with rubbing alcohol for two minutes and it came clean, so they clearly rushed and didn't care... Now heres the main issue... Whoever was responsible for cleaning it, didn't install the motherboard back in correctly, now the HDMI, Lan, and USB ports aren't fully flushed to the shell of the console... Because of it, my HDMI port is now significantly lose, you gotta force the Lan port in... Things that I would have to put more money in eventually to fix. I call them and immediately tell them about the issues, mainly the motherboard not being flush with the console. He tried to say that its "normal" and thats how they are but I told its not... I shouldn't be able to fit a penny between the Lan port and console shell. He tried to act like he didn't know what the words "flush" and "recessed" mean't, but I could clearly tell he did, so I even brung up a picture of a PS5s backside to show him the ports are supposed to be flush with the console, then I even let Google tell him that ports was to recessed, looked at the attached Gemini screenshot. Overall this was a horrible experience because they clearly didn't care about the console, hence from them not cleaning it properly so of course they wouldn't care in general. After I kept pointing out fact after fact, he pretty said f*ck me and told me to get out his store. I payed for a service that wasn't done properly and in the long run, they caused more harm essentially, I can't even play the PS5 until I get the motherboard re-seated properly.

The fix was supposed to take a day (we were going to pay extra for the faster fix), and were told a week AT MOST if we weren't going to pay extra. The fix was going to be $80 total. The reality was it took TWO MONTHS to get my device back and I was charged around $150. I had to call them multiple times, stuff always came up with them. I understand that things happen, but they never called us about our device. We always had to call them and there was always a new excuse as to why my device wasn't ready. This seems highly unprofessional and I do not recommend this place to fix your devices. What was supposed to be a simple HDMI cable fix turned out to be far more expensive and time consuming than it was worth. If this place is your only option to get a device fixed, I'd recommend to save your time and money and just buy a new device.

It did this all night long to no avail! Being without a computer drove my wife to near insanity!! We got her an appointment at one supposed computer repair place in Florence and said it was $99 to diagnose the problem and additional $$$ to fix it and it would take 2-3 days!!! My wife blew a gasket! I suggested we go to CPR and see what they could do. CPR had fixed my Iphone sometime back, and they had repaired it in an hour for about $50 and I suggested we give them a try. We went to CPR, and discussed the problem with a really nice, polite and VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE young man named Adam and asked him if he could solve the problem and also install an additional 8 GB RAM card that we had purchased previous to this disaster. He went to great detail about ways to deal with the Windows problem and what he would have to do. He said he would also install the Ram card, and said he would try to have it done the same day! Well, at 4:00pm, he called my wife and said it was finished. He explained that the windows had been corrupted, he cleaned the mechanical hard drive, reloaded Windows, placed the boot sector on the SSD drive so it would boot faster, and installed the RAM card. Then he explained, in plain English, to my wife how to restart her computer, connect to our wi-fi and get her up and running!!! And the charge was about $90!!!! I thought my wife was going to propose to Adam on the spot! Adam couldn't have been any nicer or more competent!!! CPR has NEVER let us down and I highly recommend them for your computer or cell phone repairs!!!
