Of course I chose somewhere that I felt was the best Alexandria has to offer in an atmosphere where he could enjoy a beverage and have plenty of space and privacy to relax and unwind (he is the first boyfriend I ever took to meet my parents so the pressure was real!) This shop is located in downtown Alexandria with super quirky decor, lots of seating, and several book and game options to pass the time! I also loved the hidden notes in the bookcase that gave book recommendations. I have tried several of their drinks here throughout the years. Most recently I tried one of their seasonal drinks, the reindeer chow but asked them to hold the chow to make it a cookie butter latte with oat milk (wasn't really in the mood for a chocolatey cereal chow meal in my drink but loved the concept)! I also ordered the avocado toast. The latte was perfectly balanced, yet rich and delicious! It was also served at the perfect drinkable temp. The avocado toast was THICK and the avocado and egg topping seemed fresh. It was very filling and a nice dose of healthy protein after all the holiday indulgence! I will ALWAYS come back to this coffee shop when I'm in town especially since it holds a precious memory for me. We stopped in on Saturday and Sunday morning and enjoyed hot lattes and macchiatos. During the second visit I tried one of the seasonal Mardi Gras drinks - bourbon caramel to be specific. The drink was delicious. I wanted to buy a shirt of a woman looking like she was standing on business but they were sadly sold out. Anyway, enough rambling. The chocolate and mint chocolate chip combo is the move. Trust me. Get them together. The chocolate was really good, although mine was a little too firm for my liking. The mint chocolate chip, however, was exactly the right texture and really good. Put the two together and you have yourself a winner. Service was fast and friendly, and the prices were about what you would expect compared to other ice cream shops. Nothing complicated here. Located inside a supermarket called Albertson's , this Starbucks is right infront and you do not have to walk far to find it, right inside the door! Brigitte (I think that's her name) was excellent. Super friendly and provided fast and super service. Not sure why but prices were actually lower here than a "normal' starbucks store. Very welcoming. They don't have EVERY starbucks drink but they do have the popular, essential ones. I get the Strawberry acai refresher and Brigitte made it perfectly. My dad got his usual standard medium roast coffee with a cheese danish and all of our items came out super quickly thanks to Brigitte. They have a bathroom which is the supermarkets but it's a very short walk down a few asiles and very clean. Lots of parking outside too! Centrally located near a mall and other shops.
