The ambiance is really nice, it has a cool industrial vibe but still feels warm and welcoming, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our time there. The food and drinks were great. We tried the Picadillo taco, Blueberry lemon cake, and Chocolate chip cookie and everything was fresh and flavorful. Definitely a solid option whether you're just looking for coffee or a little flavorful bite. The service was very friendly and attentive, which always makes a difference. The staff made us feel welcome right away and kept everything running smoothly. Overall, great atmosphere, good food, and excellent service. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

I have never had a bad experience and I have been coming here for the last 4 years. I always suggest getting a hot chai latte and a sweet treat. Free parking can be found around the shop. However, they also have a free parking lot (1st floor only) found on the same block. Bathrooms are single stalls and they have always been clean.

I believe for weekday lunchtime they offer a lunch/drink combo which it awesome. I've been to the ftw location too and both cafes are super busy. This location has plenty of parking. I haven't done the wine portion but I know my friends love wine and charcuterie. So it's a perfect get together for ppl who love wine and others who don't. They have plenty of tables/chairs downstairs and some upstairs and great outdoor patio for those with dogs. I come here often and bring visiting friends here too.

Other seating includes table with benches (beware you can't move the benches to get in & out, if I'm wrong I apologize), then some a few tables with chairs by the windows, on the other side they do have benches facing each other with tables in between (great for groups!), & beautiful outdoor patio seating. They have a small upstairs with chairs & use wine barrels as tables. Clever! Customer service is okay, let me say that every person there has been extremely pleasant but out of the four times I've been there, only once I didn't have an issue. They seem to enough their jobs & working together, which is a green flag for any place, but sometimes they get distracted. One time I stood there & staff was chatting in the corner, a good amount of time passed before anyone noticed me. Another time, they just forgot my drink (it was the only thing in my order) & there were no other order left... the group was again chatting away with with each other, then during another visit they forgot my croissant. Each time they did apologize, but three out of four times aren't good odds. I probably won't frequent this location as much, but I will stop by once in awhile because their drinks are worth it.

I saw the breakfast menu and wanted to order the shelby bagel, but unfortunately they actually stop serving breakfast at 5pm... so not all day BUT dude i ordered the micah sandwich and it was SO GOOD! their menu has many options, so when i hit the roadblock on the bagel, the staff guided me to the other options very well! A lot of their drinks are strong for me, and I'm not much of a coffee drinker. The atmosphere is beautiful; plenty of seating, comfortable chairs and different types of table, and there's even an area my friend and I like to seat in what looks like a private event table. It's open to the public as long as no one reserves the area, so we always enjoy bringing our writing equipment and books. Personally, I really enjoy their grilled cheese. I've tried their cheese danish and brownie as well. Very delicious but a bit too sweet. I'll definitely be back here as a frequent to spend time with my friend, but I'll be on the lookout for other drinks and sweets.

With an absurd 6 espresso shots the Cold War has enough caffeine to kill a horse and make me feel alive. Would recommend.
