Besides the fact that there is almost never enough parking here, and you get yelled at by the DD people across the street for parking there (obviously, but apparently they don't get nearly as many customers), and the fact that there is almost never enough space inside to sit, and the fact that there needs to be enough plugs for people, this Starbucks gets a stamp of my approval. The people that work here are super nice and will not hesitate to refill your drinks for as long as you are there. My drinks came out just right, also. Sometimes there's not much of a consistency in Starbucks drinks, but it was good here. Also, if you're looking for good wifi, don't sit in the corner with no windows - the connection sucks there. This location has decent internet speed for a Starbucks, but the location does get pretty busy, so the store can get pretty noisy and it can be hard to find a table. So, if your looking for a study place, this may not be the best location. The store does have nice comfy seating if you're just looking for a place to hang out and chat with friends. Not a bad place, right off Exit 199 on I-20, on Washington Road. It's tucked away yet on the street. there is a tight turn for the drive through and the exit but quite doable. The staff are pleasant enough, friendly and talkative, and get you back on the road quickly. read more

This is by far the WORST Starbucks EVER!! Drive thru service incredibly slow! The staff condescending and not service oriented. Wanted a Strawberry Acai refresher blended (which every other Starbucks gladly serves) but this location refused to blend saying "we don't blend this drink". As if that wasn't enough, when handing us our drinks, she said "here you go" no "thank you" or other pleasantries. Dunkin' Donuts is right next door; go there instead!! read more

Starbucks is one of my fav spots. I'm actually writing my review from the comfort of my favorite locations. This location is cool. It has everything I like. It has plenty of seating inside and outside. They have several outlets outside near the lounge seats. None of the tables outside have access to outlets. Most of the outdoor tables have umbrellas for sunny days. The inside is recently updated. They have the bar across the window with about six seats and they all have outlets. They also have a center table with outlets. This location is always busy because it's on the very busy Washington Road and right next to the interstate. The staff is always nice, however not too many memorable people like some of the other locations I visit. The only downside to this location is the parking. There isn't much. There's a hotel next door and sometimes I park there when their designated parking lot is full. Overall, good space to get a lil work done and people watch while enjoying a good drink. read more

Without a doubt this is the most poorly managed Starbucks I have ever encountered. Given the fact that this is the only location between my home and work... I have continued to try them again and again opposed to driving an additional 5 miles. With my ever so hopeful optimistic nature and even with asking them to repeat my order back to me it continues to be wrong 99% of the time then practically flung out of the window to me nasty and dripping with coffee. When it is made with the ingredients i have asked for it still lacks the rich flavor of other locations. The continued poor management must cost this store thousands in free drinks. I'm basing my review on this trip, my first trip here. I can't stand the foam. CORRECTION: I can't stand that they gave me bubbles and passed that off for foam. I was really impressed in how quick and speedy they were. There was a passing of perhaps 3-4 minutes from the time I ordered to the time I received my order, which was great. I rarely give horrible reviews; especially to places like SBUX. It is a go-to location of mine because I am always in a hurry and always in the need of a dark roast. However, I have to complain about this particular store. Rarely have I ever been given great service. I don't know whether it is the location or the employees, but I am so saddened. Tonight, I went through the drive through to order a dark roast. Yes, it was twenty minutes till closing, but I figured it wouldn't be too much work to do a dark roast. In fact, I prefer pour-overs more than anything. However, I pulled up and was given what I thought was the beverage I ordered. It turns out, it was bleak coffee. Probably old as well. Maybe it was the last of the batch and I got there at a bad time. Anyways, I know what coffee tastes like and I know for sure the barista that served me put water in my cup as well. I just had the best experience at this Starbucks. They were out of everything I wanted which I get I went though the drive thru after the morning rush, but the dude working drive thru deserves a raise. Under any other circumstances I would have been a little irritated they were out of everything I wanted but he made suggestions on why was like the stuff I wanted and I ended up spending $20 on stuff I didn't even go there for. Every time I visit this Starbucks I am greeted warmly and the service is fast (I don't use the drive thru and I typically go during non-peak coffee hours). During my most recent visit I asked if there was a lower calorie version of the vanilla frappachino and the barista recommended a fabulous drink (it was like a skinny vanilla latte frappachino). The guy & girl were talking about dumpsters or something not work related because the guy kept mentioning his apartment or something. Anyway, the one on the register was completely turned around while the girl with the excessive makeup was halfway turned towards the register-- she looked at me & didn't even tell the guy that was talking that there was a customer waiting at the register. A guy on the bar then spoke up because he saw me standing there & called for the reg guy to help me. I liked this Starbucks. I wandered in while exploring Augusta, for some coffee to go with my lunch, and I was pleased with the place. Fast and friendly service, a clean facility, a safe environment - yep, this was a Starbucks. However, one thing that set it apart from its kin was some particularly elegant construction, such as the high, open-beamed ceiling. Relaxed and well-fed, I ended up lounging around the place for some time, and I value the memory. So, much thanks to all the good people who keep this restaurant going. The drive thru to this location requires you to enter their competitors property and go through a hotel carport. Ordering my drink did not take long, but they spent a long time getting it to me after I paid. There was not a line inside or many seated customers, so it was odd I had to wait. The drink I ordered was simple: Tall Iced Coffee, no cream, no sugar. Despite the crowds and having to sit outside in the cold when the seats inside are full, I love this place. I come so often that some of the baristas know me by name. Everyone's really outgoing and quick to strike up a conversation. Plus, there's been times where I've gotten free snacks from the bakery when they're about to close. I love Starbucks, and some Starbucks just do it better than others! My personal favorites are the one in the mall, and the one by Mullins crossing. The Washington road one is okay, but I always have my frap double blended, and when I receive my coffee, there is always still ice chunks in it and it's frustrating! This location has the rudest employees. A guy in front of me ordered a tea and he said he wanted a small. The "barista" was this older lady and rudely snapped at him saying "we don't have smalls- only tall." The guy looked confused and just agreed.
