This is less a review on Starbucks and this location as it is about the chicken, quinoa, black bean and protein bowl (aka salad). This thing is delicious and for $8.75, it could be one of the best values out there in the world of fast eats. It helps that the saturated fat, sodium, and other bad things are very low comparatively speaking. Lots of fiber, vitamins and greens in the good side. On to the location, it's fine. The parking is weird and the traffic flow is a challenge. Just be cautious in the lot. The service is fine and it's Starbucks coffee. I'm going back for one of those salads. Oh, protein bowls. This place is crazy. They have a sign on the front door that says their temporary Lee closed and they will not answer the telephone it just goes into a voice message stating that they're closed however, the parking lot is full of cars, there are lights on in the inside employees everywhere. On top of that, my neighbors came home with Starbucks so I went to the local Starbucks there drive-through is shut down and there is no explanation Not only did this place have a terrible reputation locally for being slow and inconsiderate, now they're shut down with no intended re-opening date. Best Starbucks anywhere ! The people are wicked fast here and the drive thru is awesome. I have never had to wait in a line here and it's always busy. As always , Starbucks has such good coffee and when I was there recently someone ended up treating all of us to a cup while in line. So sweet! Definitely my favorite coffee spot. read more

WOOHOO! I can finally get back on the 5 star Starbucks rating bandwagon. This makes the Starbucks guru happy. He hates leaving less than 5 stars for his beloved. I was so happy to see this beautiful location in Aurora. It does my heart good to see such a beauty on a street corner. It is better than the beauty I saw on the other street corner....all kinds of wrong! This location is conveniently​ located in Aurora on the corner of Aurora and Garfield. With convenient entrance and exit from both roads, this location is decently easy to get in and out of. The drive thru here is a little on the shorter side. It cannot accommodate​ as many cars as other locations. But, they were working with a super small footprint. I get it. Decent amount of parking here as well! The interior of this store is a good size with plenty of seating. A nice size retail area and the staff here has always been nothing but friendly. My order is always done right and with a smile. Bathrooms and the restaurant have always been clean too! Definitely will be back! read more

I am a very frequent customer of this Starbucks and it is fantastic. My drink is always made right and they always double check my order too. Nathan who is a barista is always so kind and enthusiastic. Inside it is very clean and the staff is still fast even when it is busy. My bakery items are usually in stock and they are so generous to warm it for me. I highly recommend this location and I will be coming again. read more

Over 2 years in and this location still hasn't figured out how to serve a hot cup of coffee consistently. It's so frustrating because they're my local location & there's nothing worse than having to go back in to get another cup when you're trying to get to work. If I go in, I'll make sure they serve me a hot cup but a paying customer shouldn't have to do that. Plus with the awful parking lot, going in means getting stuck by the drive thru line. How hard is it to keep a fresh pot of coffee brewed when you're a coffee shop? The only reason for not giving them a 1 Star is because the kids who work there always smile & apologize but the lack of attention to quality is getting very very frustrating read more

I loved the old location on the Barrington strip mall better. It was far more spacious, had a fireplace, and comfy chairs. It had great views of the nearby veterans park. It served as a great community hub. Not to mention almost unlimited parking space. This new location is in a tight corner with woefully inadequate parking. The space is small, with seating tightly packed, uninviting, and with great views of suburban mediocrity such as Walgreens, CVS, a gas station, and the Chevy dealership. They did all this to accommodate drive-thru. It's a sign of the times. BUT I want my old, slowed-down, sit-for-a-cup of coffee, laid-back coffee shop, to return. Not a rating on the baristas, they are great. 5-stars for them. 1-Star for the corporate decision to move the beloved location. Averages out to 3 I guess. read more

I always try to give the benefit of the doubt when service is off. But waiting 20 mins to receive drinks and see 4 other customers get served before you and seeing the entire drive thru get served (at least 12 cars) you need to say something. I believe if you are a mobile order or a drive thru you would be fine. But it's apparent they are set up for service other than in house. And that's fine but maybe not offer in-house ordered or just tell people to order online rather than waiting this long. read more

I feel bad giving it 2 stars, but I only did so because the people working there are nice. This Starbucks was across the street in the plaza and it was a great spot. I'm guessing they moved because they felt like they needed a drive thru, what a mistake!!! I drove into this parking lot once and I'll never do it again. It may be the worst design for a parking lot I've ever seen. NO JOKE.....the worst ever! If you don't believe me pull in around lunch time! If you're lucky enough to get a spot you'll have the worst time trying to get out of it. I made the mistake of trying to exit the way of the drive-thru....nope! Drive-thru does not have a passing lane. The lot is basically one way, small, confusing and a real cluster! Even the inside is tiny and uncomfortable. A few tables that seat 4 and few community tables. However, it was clean and food/coffee was consistent with other Starbucks. I've been going to this Starbucks location for years as it is the closest one to my house. The drinks are always made excellent and the food is fresh. Staff members are super friendly and accommodating and mobile orders are ready conveniently. However, I dislike the new location. When it was located in the plaza, the parking lot was spacious and convenient. Also, the inside was cozy and relaxing. Now, the parking lot at the new location is so crowded and busy my mom almost got her car hit twice. We would never risk the drive-thru due to it being so narrow and oddly curved. The inside is nice and bright but it is more busy and less relaxing than at the other location, which is fine but I kind of miss the old atmosphere. The staff are still friendly and the drinks are made delicious and efficiently but I really wish they would have kept the old location. read more

This Starbucks is HORRIBLE. The parking lot/drive thru is a complete nightmare to get in or out of, service is always slow.. and I don't think they have EVER gotten my order right. My drink is messed up every time. I live less than a mile away from this location and I will literally go out of my way to solon, twinsburg, or the Starbucks at target because this location sucks so bad. read more

This location is the absolute worst of any Starbucks I've ever visited, and there have been many across the country. It is cold, loud, uninviting, and has abysmal parking. The good baristas cannot make up for this corporate snafu. The old location was spacious, warm, and inviting and served as a social hub in the town. As I recall, this was the original mission of Starbucks, wasn't it??? The decision-makers have laid a rotten egg with their drive-thru cash cow. My suggestion: Re-open the destination location and run the new one as a drive-thru only. While I used to meet friends at the old location at least two or three times a week, we now go out to lunch and avoid Starbucks in Aurora. A very poor corporate decision, in my opinion. read more

Corporate greed is the theme at this location. This Starbucks used to be located where there was no drive thru available. Convenience for the customer is not valued at this new location. Parking is terrible due to design concept and I would never recommend parking here unless you need to waste 20 minutes waiting to be let out by other drivers. This new location literally has 12 parking spots and the drive thru lane cuts right through the middle of the lot. Staff are still wonderful and make the best out of this situation. Food and drinks are always a 5/5 because they hire the best baristas who treat the customers like gold. Just very sad to see that their long time customers' opinions were not even considered when corporate decided to build this disastrous new location. read more
