Went through the drive thru today and placed my order. The girls asked me to repeat my order 4 times, in the end I felt like I was yelling at her :(. The screen where you confirm your order was not working. When I go to the window, the girl asked me for payment. I asked to confirm my order before paying as the screen didn't work ,and she said "yeah it hasn't worked all day", she repeated the order back and it was correct, so I paid. Get back to work, and my drink is missing one of the ingredients, and it was also not on the drink label which is weird as I thought the labels were printed based on the order page, which she read to me correctly. This is not the first time this has happened, sure it won't be the last. But at least she didn't have attitude like one of the girls there that works the drive-thru. read more

This Starbucks is really poorly run. I ordered a dry cap and instead got a very full latte. When I asked them to re-make it, they just poured out some milk and gave it back to me. Also, when you drive through, some guy sings his "hello" to you for faaar too long and ignores your ordering until he's done...just shut up and let me order, this isn't an episode of Glee. I've stopped using this location because they can never seem to get my order right and they'd rather sing than make sure the orders are correct. read more

Easy access to this Starbucks and I'm all about convenience. They were handing out coffee samples through the Drive-Thru and the lady in front of me ordered some kind of smoothie thing... obviously didn't really want coffee, kind of took forever. Wow, given the popularity of this Starbucks, I'm highly surprised that it hasn't been reviewed yet! The number one thing to note about this Starbucks location is that it is BUSY, especially during morning rush hour. There are weird gaps in time before 9 when the traffic slacks off some, but I haven't quite figured out the schedule yet. Drive-through is faster than walk-in, though, so I'd recommend that if you're getting your drink to go. In the evening, the pace is more laid back. It'll still be busy, but not with lines out the door or anything like that. Drink-wise, they do well most of the time. My green tea lattes are sometimes a bit off, but usually quite good. They make a killer frozen strawberry lemonade, though! Their chai is good too, even though I don't like it at most Starbucks (I'm spoiled by David Rio's brand). I do tutoring as a side job and this is usually a good place to meet my students. I can usually find a table in the evening and the noise isn't too bad, until they start up the coffee grinder. They do have a patio with three or four tables, which is pretty nice this time of year. The customer service has always been good and, much to my chagrin, I'm recognized as a regular here as well. One of the male baristas that works mornings is enamored by my ThinkGeek t-shirts. The "worst manager ever" is nice too (and makes a good drink) and I look forward to getting my drive-through drink from the slightly flamboyant, theatrically-inclined barista that often works the window. I swear he must be in the SCA or something, but I haven't had a chance to chat with him thoroughly. :) read more

Came here to study for my MCAT on a weekday night to get away from my crazy little nephew at home. Good place to get away. Music was soft and not distracting. Free Wi-Fi is always nice. The cashier dude was a little creepy, but in a he-seems-a-little-high/hippie/friendly creepy. He informed me that my tall medium decaf would take a little bit longer than normal to brew, which was thoughtful. When I went to the counter to add some cream and sugar, I was surprised to see that there was no milk/cream to be seen! So sad. The same guy was happy to give me some half-and-half out of their fridge and promptly filled up a new container to put on the counter. Very happy with the customer service and coffee, but my table got really cold after a while, and my coffee cooled off really quickly. Maybe next time! I'll just bring a jacket with me. Good to see that there is a drive-thru too. Edit: After reading some other reviews, the creepy guy was probably the same singing cashier that everyone else talked about. Hm. read more

Starbucks.. I imagine everyone who goes is aware there's usually slow service. I will skip over the general complaint with that. I have visited this location many times and will continue too. The drive-thru can become extremely long depending on the time that you go, but they can usually get the line going fast enough that it is often worth it. Everyone is fairly friendly and the quality is consistent which of course I like! I have even tried ordering the same thing at local coffee shops, and was sadly disappointed and same price. I keep returning to Starbucks and more specifically this location. read more

By far my favorite location! Staff is seriously on it despite massive customer base and early morning rushes. Ashley at that location is the real deal, man, I heart her! Smile on her face before the crack of dawn, patient and engages authentically. Never messes up an order and always on top of her tasks I wish I remembered her name, but there's an awesome employee there who straight up remade a special version of the Sparkling Sangria tea on a slamming busy morning WITHOUT ME ASKING! Always a packed location! People are nice which is why i gave 2 stars, but they mismatch orders (big problem for vegetarian or someone with restrictions) and days like today didn't close the lid on my hot americano. Needless to say i got home to spilled hot coffee on my lap. Feedback - keep up the great service and staff but make sure lids are closed, put stoppers in drive through hot orders, and make sure you're giving the right order to the customer. read more

This is by far my favorite Starbucks location of all of the ones I've been to. The staff here is very friendly and there are a couple of staff members that are so full of joy every time I see them that I guarantee if they ever didn't have a smile, ANYONE who has encountered them more than once would instantly be really concerned. I also LOVE online ordering...I've even done it while in line at the drive thru when it is long, then my drink is ready and paid for by the time I get to the window and they are usually holding the drink out to me when I pull up and with a bright smile they ask me if I am Krystal just to verify and then I am on my way. :) read more

I am an avid Starbucks visitor. I usually buy once a day from you but today I received horrible service. I waited 15 min for a venti quad iced espresso. I checked in at 1:00 and at 1:15 a man ordered a drink received it within 5 min and then at 1:20 I received mine. No, I'm sorry for the delay or anything. I then observed a person not in uniform go behind the bar and make herself a drink while talking to two employees about their Instagram. How unprofessional!! Two employees on the clock not making drinks or helping customers. I did observe 3 employees working very hard to make drinks. Maybe if all 5 were actually working together the service wouldn't be so bad!! I may rethink my future visit to this location. read more

Place can really be a hit or miss. I live close by and I'm a coffeeaholic and there are many times I wish I'd just drive down the street a bit and hit up Its a Grind. As others stated, the drive thru line can be, and usually is, extremely long and gets priority over customers who walk inside. Although, it's best not to even go during these times as your drink will be made hastily and come out tasting different, usually not as good. During their slower periods though, this place is great. Not bad, pretty consistent service when I go inside. Some really nice baristas on some days. They make my drinks strong, which is pretty much how I always need my coffee. Closest to my house, so bonus there. It's the drive-thru that tends to get packed. People at the window are always nice, but sometimes we've had drinks mixed up. I've gone to many Starbucks in my lifetime, many of them take a couple minutes to get me my drink, but this location is fairly quick and definitely my favorite so far. This location recently remodeled and looks awesome now, but I doubt it's really any surprise when they're as good as they are. The number of times I've been here, they get my drinks right, they get them to me quick, and they're very friendly. I've never seen the drive-thru lined up and I generally never have to wait behind anybody most times of the day. I can't recommend this location enough, it's amazing. read more

Worst experience ever! Lets start by saying that this has been the most expensive and the worst breakfast ever! I paid $10.00 basically to get pissed! I ordered a Venti Peppermint Mocha like almost everyday, this coffee was disgusting! Actually this was just coffee flavored water with a bunch of whipped cream (even though I specifically told them that I didn't wanted whipped cream and only soy milk). On top of that, they gave me the wrong sandwich, but hey, lets give it a try right!?, Again the messed up, this wasn't a sandwich, more like a kit to make one! Egg on one side, sausage in the other, the buns mingling around and the cheese was plastered all around the inside of the paper bag! Well this morning was one of those mornings... I decided I was going to get Starbucks on my way to work. The drive thru line was relatively long, so I decided to go inside instead. All good and dandy, nothing out of the ordinary until my hot coffee was ready to go and as I was grabbing a stopper, I bumped the coffee and spilled all over myself and the floor. The woman that had just handed me my drink (I regretfully did not get her name) basically watched it happen and immediately asked if I was okay, told me not to worry about it, and she was going to have another one coming right up. Feeling like an absolute twit, I went to grab some napkins to at least wipe off the counter, and she insisted that I not worry about it. Within moments, she had another coffee for me ready to go and handed it to me saying she made it with extra love. She genuinely made me feel better and I am very appreciative of her attitude about the whole situation! My loyalty is now with this location. Thank you! read more

This location is one of the worst locations in Austin. Ask for a single shot and get a triple on the regular. I know they are busy but they need to pay attention. The manager was fake nice when I called to advise it was wrong and in the middle of me speaking she hung up on me. I'm very disappointed in this location. I've been a patron of Starbux for ever just like the next person. In the media they boast about their employees and service. I beg to differ. Other locations in the city have more skilled and nicer baristas and management. Avoid this location. I've been getting poor service here for almost 10 years and I am disappointed every time I try to give them a chance. Save yourself the headache and go to the Parmer and Mopac or Parmer and Metric location. Hell, I'd rather go to the starbux at Target or Randall's before going to this location. read more

I go to this Starbucks every weekday before 7am and the service is almost always stellar. Valerie the manager does a great job keeping competent staff on hand to churn out the drink orders accurately and efficiently. And I really like how many of the employees like Brittany and Desiree go out of their way to acknowledge regular customers like me, not to mention knowing just how I like my drink made. A recent remodel has this location looking as fancy as any you'll find in Austin. Kudos! read more

Not only is this Starbucks an excellent location( I mean, I come here more than I do the TWO locations near my house)...but it is one of the few that consistently gets you in and out fast! But let's get real...I frequent it for the singing crazy Barista...hmm..not sure what the guys are called...ending in a would make it feminine...I also come back for the best in Austin Grande Expresso Fap Lite...the staff is super friendly and not snotty or pushy like some others can be.
