Not only is this Starbucks an excellent location( I mean, I come here more than I do the TWO locations near my house)...but it is one of the few that consistently gets you in and out fast! But let's get real...I frequent it for the singing crazy Barista...hmm..not sure what the guys are called...ending in a would make it feminine...I also come back for the best in Austin Grande Expresso Fap Lite...the staff is super friendly and not snotty or pushy like some others can be. This Starbucks is the closest location to where I live, so I stop there quite a bit. Staff is very friendly, and their coffee making is very consistent. Only wish the drive through was a bit quicker. Other than that, a great place to get coffee! read more

The customer service is awesome but the way the drive through is set up is terrible! Cars backed into the entrance & all the way into the 4 lane street of Parmer is a daily occurrence. Accidents are common, the drive through line is also set up so it blocks all of the parking spots! It's a nightmare! read more

I had to wait almost 15min for an iced coffee. We ordered at 9:30am and I didn't get my drink until 9:43. I don't understand why an iced coffee would be put behind the fancy lattes. Its iced coffee. All the baristas here are awesome, including the crazy singing dude. He really can speak like a normal human being, it just takes a while for him to get it out of his system I guess. I come here for the cheap refills of iced coffee and for the quiet knitting time. Sometimes some Stepford wives show up, but they don't usually stay for too long. This is your standard run of the mill Starbucks. Nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about. Good for a quick caffeine fix. I recently discovered some of their sandwiches are also of decent quality for a quick snack. The roasted tomato mozzarella panini is surprisingly good. read more

I usually come to this location about twice a month...but I have never been disappointed at this location. I have been disappointed in others (see my other yelps). The staff are always courteous here; I always get my coffee on time and they always have smiles on their faces. This location is probably my favorite next to the other one up on palmer and mopac. This place is always busy. No matter what time I go there. Their parking lot and drive thru are a logistical nightmare. They've messed up my order more than once. Having said all of this you may wonder: why do I still go there? Well, it's because it's right near work, and it's the best of the two close to work. At least I know what to expect, and if they do make a mistake they try to fix it to the best of their abilities. I'm not one to leave poor reviews, however, I really felt the need to on this trip! I've usually never had issues with customer service at Starbucks. But the two teenage girls working this drive through giggled their way through taking my order and made me feel rushed. When I pulled up to pay, they got both of the items on the order wrong. I tried to go through the drive through tonight but was informed by the drive through screen that they were closed. I was surprised because it was before 11:00 pm...the closing time stated on their website. The Starbucks sign on the building and the drive through sign were both lit up as well. On the way to work, open bright (or dark depending on how early). People are nice. The parking lot is a bit strange in my opinion the arrows are a bit confusing since there is a set of parking spots on the left in front of the drive thru that you can't get to unless you drive the opposite direction... God help me, the sound of the baristas voice who takes drive thru orders in the morning makes me want to drive into a tree. I always order my drink with "a splash of coconut milk" and at least once a week I receive a drink with Coconut Milk and a splash of coffee. Seriously!?! I know they are busy in the morning, I do...but it's coffee. Not brain surgery. When I go inside to order instead of the drive thru, it takes FOREVER. Everyone is rushing around to take care of the line of cars, and no one seems to remember that there are people IN the store. Never in a million years did I think I would become a worshiper of the ridiculously priced, snobbishly customizable, corporate beast that is Starbucks. I don't drink coffee (due to the hot messedness that it launches my bowels into... TMI, you'll get over it) but lawwwwd have mercy I cannot deny my obsession with the grande soy no water chai with extra foam (um yea.) What I don't love is the way Austin can do Starbucks at times. This location in particular is near my home so I go fairly often. I tolerate the singing hippy pot smoking staff, which is all cute... until you f**k my drink up. Because you're too busy coming up with some annoyingly cleverless "gooooood morning" jingle, my grande soy no water chai with extra foam turned into a grande NO soy chai WITH water EXTRA HOT. Seriously?!?! Who needs a morning lip blister? Put down the weed, loosen the dreads and do your job...WELL. Needless to say, I spoke with the manager who was very nice. I have quit using this Starbucks location because they "claim" to stay open until 11:00pm on weekends. I arrived there at 10:15pm on a Friday night and the employees just looked at me like I was stupid when I walked up and found the doors locked and them cleaning up for the night. read more

Based on the most recent reviews, I must step through a different door when I go to this store. I recently moved to this area and this location is the most convenient for my morning commute. I'm usually there between 7 and 7:15AM during the week for my morning joe. This has to be the most poorly run store, at least for the walk-in customer, I've ever been in. I decided this morning that it must be due to this location having a drive-thru and foot traffic is just not that important. Without fail, when I walk in there are 3-4 people working the drive-thru window, 1 person working the inside machine, and 3-4 people behind the counter. One might think the people behind the counter would be busy serving inside customers but they are almost always busy stocking cups, lids, coffee beans, doing paper work, etc.; usually with their backs turned away from the customers. One of those persons is usually running the warmer for the inside counter and the drive-thru so they get a pass. The others are doing anything other than noticing that they have customers standing at the register. Considering this store opens at 5AM, I fail to see why people are scrambling to stock items at this time of day. Twice this week alone, there were no milks or creamers at the customer self-serve sugar/creamer station. The clean-up guy, who apparently doesn't serve customers, actually had to tap another employee on the shoulder and point out that I was standing there waiting. The customer ahead of me had been waited on by the young lady working the expresso machine and had to go back to prepping drinks. The employee served me coffee and wanted to give it to me at no charge for ignoring me, which I appreciated the gesture, but at that point didn't care that much because I'm over this place and its poor service in the mornings, day in day out. And by the way, this is the second time I've been offered free coffee because I was ignored for so long at the counter. I paid for my coffee both times, thanks anyway. To the manager, get organized and have someone work the inside register -- all the time!!. If they have to stand there a few minutes doing nothing waiting for another customer to walk in the door, that's OK! If you MUST have them busy, train them to constantly be on the look out for customers and drop what they are doing to address that customer's needs. That's the number one job of every employee...not stocking cups and lids which should have been done the night before or at least soon after your doors open. I'm not going back to this store. I miss the store at Four Points. Maybe you guys should spend a few days at that store and see how customers are handled. read more
