I woke up to a relatively cool morning and one of the first things I thought of was coffee. Then I decided to go exploring for a new coffee nearby. Vinyl Brews was the lucky coffee selection vVnyl Brews is inside The Water Tank on McNeill Road. It was a bit of a scavenger hunt as you have to enter the coffee shop from the back of The Water Tank. Bria, the barista was super helpful with my selection from their plethora of options, including monthly specials. I settled on the hot honey cinnamon latte as she said it was one of the more popular selections. Oh my God it was so good... Nice and warm, robust and flavor and super smooth to drink. This is one of the most reasonably priced lattes at under five dollars base price base price. I asked why the coffee shop was called Vinyl Brews. Bri said it's because folks can come into either Vinyl Brews or The Water Tank and bring their vinyl records and they have a vinyl record player there to play the records. How cool is that? At this early stage in the morning, I was the only customer. Therefore, it was a very quiet atmosphere. In addition, there is plenty of free parking.

Ok, this coffee was so good. Like just made me whole weekend good. But I swear, trying to find where to get the good coffee... I went into the wrong door twice, and then got lost in the back lot a little. Thankfully the employee's Jen and Kayla were my hero's and when I'd given up on the quest to find coffee, they pointed me in the right (but impossible to find) direction. Pro tip: fix the signage so those of us in search of coffee without the extra milage can find this delicious little spot.

Sometimes you need coffee before an early Sunday morning haircut, so you wander into a bar advertising a coffee shop... I have to say, I'm glad I did. Huge, made to order, $2 breakfast tacos and delicious, reasonably priced coffee (all the kinds, just like any other coffee shop - not some tired pot of drip ) The barista was super nice and enthusiastic. He took good care of the regulars, knowing their orders etc. Something strangely romantic about being in a mostly empty bar early in the morning. I'll definitely drop by again if I'm ever in the area.

Came to the water tank bar yesterday for lunch during the game and grabbed a coffee at vinyl brews inside. Such a cute spot! And I love that they have a full coffee bar here. Super nice outdoor seating area in the back as well as lots of parking. Pretty decent coffee but it did taste a littleeee burnt if I'm being honest. Not mad about it though! Service was great :)

We ordered the Midnight Jam & Purple Haze lattes. Highly recommend!

We tried Vinyl Brews for the first time today. We ordered: - Midnight Jam (Vanilla & Blueberry latte w/ cold foam + cinnamon) - Purple Haze (Ube w/ pistachio latte + marshmallow cold foam) I love all the unique specialty coffee options they have as well as the variety of specialty energy drinks and matcha options.

As soon as you walk in you are transported into a fairy forest atmosphere. Tried a raspberry pistachio and a tres leches cupcake along with a matcha strawberry and grapefruit ade. Raspberry pistachio was good, the frosting was a lighter, fluffier texture and you could taste the pistachio. Tres leches cupcake was a bit interesting in texture and less of my taste preference. Matcha strawberry was soo sweet, it was more of a strawberry jam at the bottom while the grapefruit ade was refreshing and good. Pricing was a bit high and it's served on paper plates that you get at Costco, so that somewhat ruined the ambiance/overall experience. Lots of people came in and out for to go orders so maybe it was the wrong order.

I tried the Black Forest pastry and tiramisu cold coffee, both were delightful.

I had their black sesame blossom drink and was super skeptical in all honesty haha. The barista was extremely kind and cool to talk to (bald guy with glasses). The drink completely blew me away, the complexity of flavors was so interesting and unique. It was salty, nutty, and sweet all in one. Its truly one of the best drinks I've ever had, I drank it so slow because i didn't want it to end. I'm devastated this place is far from me but its going to be a necessity each time I'm in the area.
