I am so sorry but this is still the worst SB EVER!! So they stick a new person to take orders, she can't even use the register correctly. She must ask and then wait for the other workers to come to her aide. Took 15 minutes for a Christmas blend coffee also she had to restart orders over and over as she did not know how to enter customized drink orders. There were about 15 people waiting and then they started leaving as it was taking to long. Finally after about 30 minutes the manager comes out from the back to help. read more

I stopped at this location on 4/24 at ~1045 AM. I ordered a mocha and veranda coffee; they had quit serving the veranda and said they could do a pour over - great. The mocha was ready in the normal amount of time but the pour over took about 10 more minutes (there were very few customers inside or outside). I walked out with my order and took a sip and my coffee was barely lukewarm. I went back in and told the server and noted that the mocha would be cold by the time I got another cup and could I have both redone. I said I was fine with paying again. She said the same thing would happen because the two drinks took different amounts of time. I asked if she could adjust the timing a little, she said no that is not the way it works, Starbucks literally cannot serve me two hot drinks! read more

I get to work and go to take a drink and of course my order is wrong! Who else asks for a tip prior to the order being served? No more tipping for me, this happens way to much at Starbucks! -=FAIL- This Starbucks is suffering from an adopted attitude the many employees, not managers, are doing recently at Starbucks. The store closes at a certain time, they start shutting things down 45-30 min prior to closing. Recently I arrived at 30 min before closing, asked for spinach wrap, was told "sorry we shut the ovens off" the ovens that take a switch turn on... I said it is 30 min before you close and was told sorry with a slight smile on her face, (I guess employee wins over the customer). I mean if it was 5 to closing I might let it slide, but at 30 min from closing.. come on. This was poorest of experiences I've had at a Starbucks. I hope their regional management lets them know that the store CLOSES when it is CLOSING TIME and if they want to go home early got get a job elsewhere. Seriously bad performance. read more

This is one of the worst experiences we have ever had at a Starbucks. Most locations are pretty reliable and you can expect at least a 3 star experience, but I would go to any location but this one. We stopped here for a pick me up as we were traveling through. It took over 30 minutes to get through the drive thru! I just went to this location on a Saturday. The drive through looked like it was moving a little slow so I went in and there was no wait at the register. Placed my order with the nice cashier. Waited about 5 minutes and they made my drink perfectly. I am not sure if they are any faster during the week but if you have time to wait for a perfect Starbucks drinks stop here! read more

Probably the most unorganized Starbucks I've ever been to. Even the inside layout is dumb. I usually just get a dark roast coffee, had to wait for them to make some because at 10am they didn't have any made. The register girl was really slow at understanding everyone, but her eyebrows were on point. The biggest issue: no freaking sugar, like regular sugar. Not sweetener. The other girl that I asked about the sugar didn't realize there was a difference between sugar and sweetener, idiot. Also, the bathrooms blocked by boxes. See pic. read more

WAS my favorite Starbucks, had not been there for quite sometime & was extremely disappointed. - where is a manager or supervisor? The outside sitting area was in disarray & tables were dirty. There was part of a homemade sandwich in a plastic bag on one of the tables, that looked like it had been there longer than today. Watched staff leaving shift, so glad they like to park in prime customer parking next to the entrance. First our sandwiches "got stolen", then half the order was correct. No point try for a third try, done with drink & my friend was done with her sandwich. Staff is definitely working without supervision or direction. Again, most know what to expect from Starbucks. Great coffee at a premium price and friendly staff. There are many great Starbucks locations across the globe. The Bernalillo Starbucks location fails to uphold the excellence of Starbucks' crafted brand. The coffee is good, the restrooms are clean, and the staff are nice enough. The problem appears to be that this crew rests on their laurels. Nothing exceptional to see here. As seems to be the case more often than not these days, the orders are backed up and the staff are unexceptional. No above and beyond service I expect, which is a shame. Maybe Starbucks has reached a saturation point that allows for mediocre service and over priced coffee to be acceptable for this once great company. Skip it. read more

Terrible for many reasons. We've been here for more than a week already. They don't take the Starbucks app even though they have the standard Starbucks scanner and POS installed. They never have any food. Every morning right as they open they are magically out of everything, more likely they don't want to bother to make it. The lattes and coffees taste terrible. The staff have been portly trained in how to prepare the coffee. There is never a line because no one ever comes back. Starbucks should revoke this franchise as it is ruining their brand. read more

Ok twice recently I had a terrible experience here. The barista was so slow! I waited a long time for my dry cappuccino because they completed the order of the folks after me first. They always make good drinks but are usually incredibly rude if you order off menu drinks. I'm talking about eye rolls and glares especially from the elderly women that work at this location. Upset because Starbucks is the only place in Bernalillo that has good coffee and as a student coffee comes in handy later in the evening to help stay awake for studying. Today was the 3rd time I've gone after 9 and nobody answered at the drive thru. They lobby closes at 9 which is why I didn't go in. I waited and said hello numerous times into the speaker box. On the day that we stopped in, we just needed to grab something quick. It was Saturday morning, and we had a few minutes to spare before a reservation to go paddle boarding. In the interest of ordering something fast, I had a cold brew and my friend had an iced coffee. It took at least 10 minutes for our drinks, and even then my order had gotten lost. I ended up with Mariah's venti cold brew instead. It really seemed like this location was focused on getting people in the drive thru served, neglecting people that had walked in. I probably wouldn't stop here in the future. There are certain Starbucks that are known for excelling with in-store/drive thru orders, and this one falls way short on the in-person expectations. read more

This is my local Starbucks and they know my facr and name. For anybody that complains about the line - they are the closest Starbucks to the interstate. Want to skip the line? Order on the Starbucks app! My only issue would be their music is loud 90% of the time. They are almost always packed, so if you are the kind of person that likes space - go to a different Starbucks. Drive down NM 528 and you'll see 5 other Starbucks within 10 miles. I have watched their staff go thru turnover, retraining and even the manager behind the espresso machine.
