Awful service. Staff loudly complained about too many customers and how much work there was. An off duty co-worker arrived and was served before all the customers who had already ordered. Waited 25 minutes for 1 latte. Absurd. read more

I came in before work because Dutch line was too long. I ordered a brown sugar oat milk espresso with the new lavender cold foam top. My drink came out with no cold foam, I mentioned it but said it was fine because I had to get to work, the barista proceeded to throw the drink behind her at the wall and into the sink and remake it anyway (even though I said it was fine) and I was then late to work:/ Even though I had said it was fine because it was busy and I didn't want to inconvenience them. read more

Wow! How does this Starbucks stay in business?? Must be the shear convenience of people already shopping in Fred Meyers or out-of-towners expecting a decent espresso. Starbucks generally tastes burned or like bad beans, but this one is the worst. You can tell the baristas are not happy campers because they never smile or be friendly. Sorry, Starbucks, but give me Organic Cosmic Coffee everytime--located at the harbor for those that want a great espresso every time. read more

I have been a loyal Starbucks customer for decades. This particular Starbucks does things a little differently than any I have ever been to and I have friends and family that have either worked at Starbucks or were managers. So,one thing they do differently is that they don't staff enough people to make drinks efficiently. For example one barista on cold drinks and food and one on hot drinks. Next when I order an espresso based drink it has always been my norm to order it with no foam to get a fuller price for what we all agree is exorbitant in the first place but this particular Starbucks doesn't steam and aerate the milk to create foam. I'm sure it saves on cleanup and having to scrape the foam off but it changes the flavor of the coffee. I'm pretty sure it's not to save time as they generally do one order at a time. Lastly,the tips don't go to the barista directly. They are divided amongst everyone and greater portion going to the manager. One more thing,in their questionnaire they send out I complimented two of their baristas that made good coffee and when I asked if they saw the review they said they had heard nothing. Those two baristas have left to work elsewhere. Go figure. I gave three stars only because it's go to Dutch Bros. or drive 30 miles for a cup of coffee. Subsequently my purchases have gone down from $500 a month to $20 as I make most my coffee at home now. read more

This Starbucks really sucks. It's maybe the worst starbucks that we regularly have to go to because it's the only one in the area when camping in Brookings. They don't have a heater for food items and don't have several different food items 3/4 of the time. Really disappointing. Slowest Starbucks in Oregon. Made good use of my wait time by roaming within earshot, waiting for my name to be called. It never was, so when I noticed my tray of coffees was sitting on a cubby counter getting cold, the lady said "Your order's been ready for a while"...and I said, "I never heard my name called." Also, no straw with an ordered Frappuccino? They wanted me to beg for it. Never again. There are so much more efficient, friendlier coffee shops in town - going elsewhere. read more

Well, this town is SMALL so I should not expect much. Unlike normal cities where Starbucks opens at 5:30am this is located inside a walmart comparison type store: (Fred Myer) which does not open until 7am. Had to stick around this town until then to get my starbucks. Unfortunately once I got it, it was received with a stank face employee who did not appreciate her job or the fact customer service is a required part of it. My coffee was strong so at least that was a bonus. read more

This store is somewhat disadvantaged because of the remote location and somewhat disadvantaged because it's in a Fred Meyer but it results in the inability to make warm food, a constant lack of menu items in stock, and poor training/customer service skills. The one time that I ordered a specialty coffee drink, the barista informed me that their espresso machine was inoperable and they couldn't make my drink. The barista suggested that I would enjoy their version without the espresso. I opted yes and after I was charged, I noticed that the replacement drink cost me $1.75 more, without the espresso. I've always been charged the same price for a replacement... Except for STARBUCKS! What a cheat! read more
