The baristas at this Starbucks are quick, efficient and friendly. My mobile order was always ready in the arrival window, the times I ordered inside they had my drink and food to me within minutes. Most Starbucks if you get food, I feel like it takes 5-10mins and they heat your food and it comes out nuclear hot and you can't eat for another 10mins. Not here, it was perfectly hot and ready quickly. Kudos to the team here! read more

This is a great Starbucks. Probably the best one in the area. The employees are friendly and very helpful and attentive. There is plenty of parking and the area where this Starbucks is, is beautiful. There is seating inside and outside, the inside isn't that big to be honest but if it's warm outside you can opt to sit outside and people watch. It's such a gorgeous area. I like this Starbucks and have never had an issue with the employees here. Check this location out and you will not be disappointed. There are so many other nice businesses near by as well including Cooper's Hawk and Wok n Fire. read more

Manager just unloaded on me after I complained when the fifth male entered the store this a.m. (jammed) without a mask -- fear of being shot or stabbed if she asks people to wear masks, she yelled, and she has two children to raise, doesn't want to endanger her team. I get it but the fear in her voice told a bigger story. Starbucks Hinsdale merely hands the offender a mask in a bag and asks them to put it on, otherwise no service. The baristas and the customers support each other. Have seen it work wonderfully. No one gets hurt, and no customers get yelled at for asking the manager to say something. Tired of the attitude that the law does not apply to some or if it does, it's their interpretation of the law. I have rights, too. How can we, as customers, help? PUT YOUR MASK ON. This is a wonderful Starbucks! I don't like coffee or tea, but I was on a work trip and was craving a white peppermint hot chocolate. Casey, who was running the register, each time I came, was so friendly and inviting! His pleasantries encouraged me to return to this warm environment each day I was out here for work! Fast and efficient this Starbucks seems to have a good pace and vibe. Not really a fan of their danishes or breakfast sandwiches at this location but the coffee is on point. They are quick and get you in and out faster than you would expect they have the routine very well managed and keep the customers flowing through the shop. Kudos and thank you! read more

The girl working the register was struggling with rining up the drinks, though I didn't get the feeling she was new or in training. The layout is kind of akward. read more

My husband and I detoured here on our way home after seeing the Yelp offer for a free evening's plate with beverage purchase. We thought it'd be a great way to try out the new idea! We opened the offer in line only to see that it expired over a week ago. Why is it still listed on Yelp?!?!?! They of course wouldn't accept it. My husband enjoyed a glass of wine and complimentary spiced sunflower seeds (or some other seed, idk) while I sipped a latte on the patio. An employee brought us out a crossant to try. Overall if was a nice night and we enjoyed ourselves. For a Saturday night they weren't too busy and I would definitely consider coming here over trendy wine bar in the future. read more

HC stands for HOT CHOCOLATE! The last two times I've ordered a salted carmel hot chocolate I've gotten a mocha coffee. I hate coffee! How does this keep happening? I even joked around with the girl making my hot chocolate to make sure it was indeed hot chocolate and not coffee, and I still ended up with coffee. I'm at this Starbucks at least 3 times a week and always order a minimum of two drinks. I don't have time to "taste" the drinks before I leave the store, so I depend on the people there to make sure the drinks are correct. If it happens again, it will be the last time I go to this location. read more

Best Starbucks I have ever been too. They are super fast. Super down to Earth and kind. Especially Katherine the barista she always makes the drinks the best or better. Mario is very fast at dishing out drinks while Kris and Dubee are very kind and also always make you laugh. Dave makes you feel good by saying have a great day. Fran is super witty and fast at your service and Barbra noes your drink and gives u nicknames. It is not your typical Starbucks it feels like u have a family. Stopped into this Starbucks while strolling through one of my favorite areas to visit. I was impressed. I've actually never experienced a bad Starbucks but some are just better than others and this one is it. I love the set up of the store. Lots of seating and even a counter on the side. They also have a lovely patio with nice couches, and tables within a little gated area. I love having the separation from the sidewalk with the gate. I'm impartial to strangers having the ability to walk right up to or very near my table when im on a patio. The staff is very friendly. My daughter (the 4 yr old) orders her drink. Without prompting the Barista makes it with a cream base opposed to coffee... thank you kind lady! She ordered the Caramel Waffle Cone Mini Frap. After drinking it for a few seconds she says, mom.. i just don't like the waffle pieces inside. The Barista hears her and asked her if she would like her to scoop them out (they were only on top) and replace it with whipped cream... Did someone say happy toddler! I love when people go the extra mile to ensure that customers of all ages are happy! I will definitely return. read more

This Starbucks is close by my office so I stop by every now and then. The staff is not particularly fast or friendly. There has been a very very long line in the morning on several occasions when I've been in. There is a lot on indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. There is a fenced-in patio which is great for warm weather. read more

This Starbucks has the friendliest workers. I come here often on my lunch break during the week and the staff is so nice. I sit at the little bar along the barista station. The one girl will place napkins by me if she sees I don't have any so I don't have to get up. They have recommended me great drinks, and as an "I only drink black coffee person" I have gone with their recommendations and been really happy. Place is clean and the environment is great. I frequent Starbucks all over the country and this one is one of my favorites. Keep up the great work! read more

Best Starbucks in the area! They really do make the best cup of coffee. So much better than the on in the Willowbrook Center. This Starbucks is very spacious as well. You rarely have trouble finding a place to sit if you decide to stay and enjoy your cup of coffee. (And it's clean! I've never seen the cream/sugar station messy) The staff here is also very, very friendly. They make an effort to remember your drink if you are a regular (something that has been amiss at some other coffee shops). Like I said, best coffee, best Starbucks in the area. Period. read more

Still one of the best Starbucks around! I am so sad to see Coffee Cat to go! But she will do great in Portage! They have fixed their ice, and that barista that made my order with full fat and sugar is gone!!! There has been a lot of turn over, like Michael John, Courtney and Ezra are gone! But I still have Erin, Barb, Lindsay, Brian, Wayne, Mike to talk to! Hopefully the new store manager treats everyone with respect! And realizes how good of a store this one is! read more

This Starbucks was always great every single time I went. Lisa was always fast to have my coffee ready. Max made the best small talk while I waited and was always incredibly kind. There was also a taller guy there who I want to call Mike but I'm sure that's wrong, who always made me laugh and would engage in conversation. This staff would give me more than just my cup of coffee. They gave me an overall pleasant experience that started my day right before work. I'll miss seeing these guys in the morning. Keep doing an awesome job! You make people's days and you don't even know it. read more

You never really know what type of service you're going to get when you walk into a Starbucks...well at least I don't because I have a ridiculously special order. When I do go to SB I order a Grande Soy White Mocha, no whip, in a Venti cup and topped off with Sumatra roast. Yeah, I know I'm special but hey if I'm going to pay $6 for cup of coffee, I want it my way! So you can imagine the looks I get from the Baristas when I order that...honestly, most of the time they don't even blink and I get a delightful "sure" however I'll occasionally get the crazy looks and only once have I gotten the "we can't do that". I panic... should I stand in this line and risk being late to work? Where would I stop next for some delicious coffee? I decide that the coffee is more important than punctuality - I stand in line and start the stop watch on my wrist watch (I'm always analyzing something). From the moment I stood in the line to the moment I was walking out their door to my car (with delicious coffee in hand) was exactly 3 minutes and 18 seconds. Where else can you and 22 other people get served in under 5 minutes? I've waited in line longer at Speedway down the street for cigarettes. I've had longer waits in the McDonalds drive thru. And Good luck getting a coffee at a Starbucks at 7am in less than 5 minutes. Due to the impressive in and out service, I was at work without delay. What I absolutely love about this location are the employees - no matter how busy they are, you get greeted with a smile and good service. If you become regular here, they even will start making your "usual" before you reach the counter. I am not one of those regulars.. but have observed this with just about every visit. One thing I do not like at this location is the strip mall it is located in. Parking stinks, you're dodging trucks coming in and out of the Ford Dealership. And that ridiculous street light in front of Portillos makes RTE 83 over here pretty sloppy. I do not understand the reviews previously left on this page. Most of them were a few years ago and perhaps they've cleaned up their act here... perhaps a few ultra-picky Yelpers were having bad days. Dunkin Donuts stopped making donuts in their retail locations about 15 years ago. They are driven in daily from a bakery location. If they are out of donuts in the evening, maybe it's because they're hustling donuts during the morning hours. This has been the "norm" for most DD locations I've been to. After all, most of their business takes place in the morning and afternoon.

I usually like this Starbucks but it really doesn't WOW me at all, so I'll give it 3 stars. Sometimes the drinks are delicious, sometimes they are kind of MEH or unmemorable. Rarely are they ever bad though. Service, as others have said, is nice enough. I wouldn't think much of it except that the other Starbucks near me that I go to regularly has incredibly nice customer service. I'm not asking them to remember my name and drink order, but a little bit of extra friendly touch would help a lot. read more

This is a great location but after they remodeled around a year ago I find the wooden chairs to be super uncomfortable. Service is normally quick and friendly but it does back up in the morning rush. I recommend using the app and ordering ahead during peak hours. There is an upholstered bench with three spots which are HIGHLY COVETED LOL because they are the only comfy seats in the place. May the odds be with you of getting them if you have any amount of work to do. read more

My favorite Starbucks by far. Very friendly staff who make an effort to remember the orders of the regulars. Ample comfortable seating throughout this large location. You can normally find a seat at a table but sometimes need to squeeze into the high top table that is in the center of the store. Small outside seating area also available. read more

Great location. It does get busy though so sometimes seating is at a premium. Patrons of this Starbucks are very friendly however and if you need to share a table...just ask. Paying with the mobile app is super easy as well. read more
