We had a good, then not so great, then good again experience here. We rolled up hungry after a morning of stand-up paddling and were disappointed to see no paninis in the fridge. We asked the barista at the register anyway and, lo-and-behold, they have them, they're just not in the refrigerated section. (They're stored in mini fridges behind the counter.) We ordered drinks, which were served up pretty quickly, and found comfy seats in the meantime. Given the prior energy exertion, I lunged at my iced coffee and practically drank half my Grande in one sip. I was very surprised to find my mouth full of sugar. They gave me sweetened iced coffee. (I ordered it black, as always.) What a shock to the system...definitely wasn't expecting that. I told them what happened, and they got me a plain iced coffee like I ordered. The paninis rolled out nice and toasty from the oven, and they were awesome! They tasted fresher than usual. The bread was very light and fluffy, whereas their normal panini bread is pretty dense. Still delicious, but nowhere near as good as the bread we had here. I think every 'bux could take a page from this one's panini book. read more

I usually stop here on the way to work in the morning and 9 time out of 10 it's fast and the coffee is good. Today i came in around 8:30 and got an strawberry açaí with rotten strawberries.... I also got a mouth full of syrup from the oat milk apple drink. Terrible. read more

I waited to see if the oatmeal would rise and it didn't so I took it back and asked for a new one, the lady took it and said to keep waiting so I waited and took it back again. A new lady took it and pretended to make a new one and gave me the same one. She didn't realize I was still watching. I ended up throwing it away. Wasted my money. read more

This is the best Starbucks I have been to in a long time. A pit stop on the way to Flagstaff, and some additional caffeine were our reasons for dropping in. What made this bustling Starbucks better than any other? To me, there was less milk in the new Black and White and Mochas we ordered. The taste of the espresso came through more and the temperature of the drink was perfect. read more

Good food and Coffee as usual but Starbucks use of the the COVID-19 weapon for not having the restroom open is just very bad service. MC Donald's and Shell cross the street has not such a stupid rules. A great place to stop while you're on your way down to Phoenix. The scenery of the mountains surrounding the cafe is fantastic. The ladies behind the counter were friendly and professional. Might be the slowest Starbucks in AZ, or beyond. Staff is super nice, but something causes them to be very slow. If you're not in a hurry, this is the place. If you're in a rush, you might want to grab a Shell coffee across the street. read more

This is probably THE WORST Starbucks coffee I've ever been to! My bf needed coffee because his eyes started to get heavy, plus I've been holding my pee forever, so we just had to stop by this Starbucks. I rushed to the restroom right away because I couldn't hold it anymore, so my bf ordered our drinks. The restroom is DISGUSTING! There was no toilet seat cover and when I was done taking a piss, that's when I realized there was NO TOILET PAPER and I had to ask a person next to my stall to pass me the goddamn toilet paper and she said "I could give a little bit because there's not much left here" What the actual fuck? From the reviews, it seemed like this Starbucks is always crowded and busy, and they have no goddamn toilet paper for their customers? So we gotta wipe our booty with our hands or what? And then my bf and I were waiting for the drinks and the barista called his name so we grabbed the drinks. As we walked to the car, I took a sip of the drink (I ordered iced Caramel Macchiato) and it tasted AWFUL! I spit the drink and I went back there and told them that's absolutely not my drink and when we looked at the drink that was on the counter, my bf's name was on it, so the first barista apparently gave us somebody else's drinks. Then, she made my drink HOT and I was pissed, I told them it's supposed to be "Iced", she said ok she'll make a new one. Ok cool, I waited again and my drink finally came, I stir the drink first and I took a sip, and you know what, it tasted like shit! I threw that drink away. They've got to be fucking kidding me. Every drink that I have ordered from this store has either been wrong, not made to recipe or tasted awful. I've overlooked many wrongs but I am officially so disappointed in this store. Today I went through the drive through and ordered a pumpkin chai tea latte with a few special items to make it my own. When I got my drink, it felt a little light but I was running late and didn't want to hold up their drive thru line so I just took it. I lifted the lid and there was a good inch to inch and a half of free space in the cup. NOT cool. Like I said, I was running late and didn't mind too much about the space. Well, I go to take a sip of it and it's totally not my drink. The cup label said it was my drink but whatever was in that cup was not a chai (I think it was a latte). I waited until my first break at work to take it back for a remake (the girl at the register was going to have them make the remake in the same cup that I had returned.. ew) and when I did get my remake, I felt like I had to check the remake to make sure whip was added and sure enough.. it wasn't. I had asked another barista to add whip and she assumed it was an eggnog latte because of the spice topping added so very rudely she says: just so you know, eggnog lattes don't come with whip. And my response to her (with the same attitude she gave me) was: this isn't an eggnog latte, this is a pumpkin chai that I added whip to. This is a remake that someone previously messed up on. My point to this long anecdote is: the baristas working at this location either don't know what they're doing or they have ZERO sense of urgency. They were low on dark roast , I told them I'd be happy to wait for a new pot. I got a fresh pot dark roast black eye. Wife's drink was exactly what she wanted. Both breakfast sandwiches were hot and juicy. Service was polite and fast. Every employee was hopping. Gourmet cuisine no. Exactly what corporate wants served. YES! I was hesitant to visit this stop based on some reviews that were poor. Yet they were far enough in the past that I hoped turnover and corporate intervention into management might've changed it up. Yessir! I travel for a living. Visited a shmorgasboard, a plethora, a zillion Starbucks. There isn't any reason , currently, to rate it low. Probably the best thing about this Starbucks is its location which is right off of I-17 en route to Sedona and Flagstaff. In fact there are an assortment of fast food joints, gas stations, a motel and a Denny's Restaurant. I get pretty frustrated when I go here, which is usually during the weekend, because it can get very busy and backed up. I went there about a week ago and the drive through line was about 6 cars long. When I parked and went inside, it wasn't any better. I had to wait around 10 minutes for 4 beverages which is pretty long for a Starbucks. As for quality of service and food/drinks, it's pretty much the same as any other Starbucks. Nothing remarkable here except for the usual college aged kids running the show. Personally I do not regard Starbucks as providing excellent coffee based beverages. I've had much better at privately owned coffee houses, but then again, I enjoy an occasional McDonald's hamburger and fries and they're certainly not the best either. The best thing about any Starbucks is its reliability and general consistency. You can pretty much count on getting the beverage you want and expect at every location, again, not unlike McDonalds. read more

A really great stop off for a Starbucks fix if you happen to be in the area. We stayed overnight in the area after going to Out of Africa, and headed here in the morning. The staff was very warm and greeted us as soon as we walked in. The drinks were made as requested, and they seemed to be moving through the drive-thru traffic quickly and efficiently. The inside was clean and well-kept - while we sat and ate breakfast we watched them come out and clean up a table within minutes of it being vacated. I give this two stars because this Starbucks lacks consistency. I never really know what I am going to get here. It is a great location and we love hitting it on our journey either north or south, but I just wish I could rely on them. Sometimes they are fast, other times they are slow. Sometimes the drinks taste great and there are other times that I would rather not finish it. Their service has always been so-so. This location is always busy and I understand the employees are busy, but they also need to notice their customers a bit more. Also, I do not know what is up with the mobile ordering, but last time we were there we got our first drink (an iced coffee) right away and then had to wait over ten minutes for the next two (another iced coffee and an iced tea)! I about had to order another drink because I almost finished the first while waiting for the other two! At least bring out the same order around the same time... read more

Horrible customer service!!! I had my free birthday beverage and I had a problem with my app.. I don't know what it was but every year I would get the email and this time I didn't nor it was shown on the app. Regardless, just trying to figure it out and asking about it (what could've been) they wereNOT FRIENDLY. They made the wrong drink for me, plus they tasted burnt. On top of that, it was our first time back to Starbucks for almost 2 months because we had a very unpleasant experience, so we didn't want to buy anything anymore. Oh well, we said maybe we should go back to give it another try and this happened. The service was quick enough. That's about all I can say for this Starbucks. The bathrooms were filthy and they looked like they had not been attended to in hours. This location is more of a drive-thru type place, though there are seats inside. The tables needed a good wipe down. If you must have Starbucks when on your road trip, you might be better off bringing your own Thermos. Stick to the drive-thru with this one. read more

The literal WORST service at a Starbucks ever ! I waited an hour YES AN HOUR for ONE iced white mocha . They served everyone around me . The only reason I stuck around was because I was working on projects on my computer as I waited. I tried to check on my drink at the 30m mark and was dismissed "we're really backed up right now" but 10m later they made sure to check on a random guy that was only waiting about 5m . I contacted corporate , I wouldn't even be upset if I wasn't brushed off after waiting 30m only to find out they completely forgot my order and wasted my time. Don't go here EVER! read more

Stood in the drive through line for over 30 minutes, finally got to the ordering window, had to repeat our uncomplicated order three times. Got to the pickup window and they had everything messed up. We asked to correct the order, and they acted annoyed. "Corrected" it and gave us the wrong stuff. We asked them, patiently to correct it. They corrected it and AGAIN gave us the wrong stuff. I am truly amazed to see a team of this level of incompetence. Explains why the drive through line moves slower than I've seen at any location. read more

After leaving the location proceeded to get back onto the 17. Tried my drinks and they were made horribly. Lacked taste and espresso was very off. Called the store and the store manager didn't care.
