This place is cute and cozy with a large amount of indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is welcoming with lots of little spots to sit and relax, catch up with friends, or work on your computer for a while. I liked that there were plenty of outlets and space to charge devices, which is always a huge plus. The service was amazing. The two gals at the counter were so friendly and made my latte perfectly. I got the Campfire Latte and it was seriously so good, chocolatey and comforting without being overly sweet. You can tell they really care about making quality drinks. The sandwiches people around me ordered looked incredible too and smelled amazing, so I already know I'll be coming back to try food next time. DO NOT TAKE MY MONEY AND SERVE ME HATRED!!! This used to be a great place, yet has lost the welcoming, home-town vibe. My money is better utilized elsewhere! I've been a long-time supporter and patient local observer. The new owners have made consistent wonky staff and menu changes. I'm not a complainer without offering solutions, so I've offered constructive perspective on the issues. However, if I ask you to keep mayonnaise (new addition to old menu item) out of my vegetable burrito because it nauseates me...and all I get is an argument from staff telling me it was alway made that way and the menu states it - when it clearly does not, I have no need to patronize an establishment which is devoid of basic customer service etiquette. The singular change I will not accept is being served up hatred with my order. The new staff - Pam and Violet, have overtly argumentative, unwilling, and erroneous positions toward their basic job function. Came to Cottonwood to visit family for a quick trip and saw this place on Yelp and looked good to us. Came in and ordered a vanilla latte, horchata specialty , and a hot chocolate for my son. I also ordered a breakfast burrito and avocado toast that seemed really good here. The place is really cute by all means but in all honesty the coffee was alright, not the greatest coffee I ever had. The food..... for avocado toast and a breakfast burrito, we waited a solid hour just for the food. It was easy to find since it is facing the main road and the sign is large. It has vast outside and inside seating area. I went around 12pm so they were almost out of pastries. This place changed hands a little while ago and has reverted to the previous name of Jeroma. Jeroma does not appear in Yelp search results so I presume they're still under the Firecreek name here. We weren't big fans of the former establishment so thought we'd give the new place a try. First impression the place is still cavernous but the decor and cleanliness have improved. Tables were clean as was the point of sale space. About dozen customers on a Sunday morning. Service was much faster than before - we waited about a minute for our drinks this time vs about 15 minutes previously. Drinks were tasty although a bit on the pricey side ($7.50 for a large mocha, those tariffs are really hitting home now!) The pastry selection was about 3 items, cases were mostly empty (not from being sold out, they just don't offer many items). They do serve breakfast/lunch items but we didn't order any and I didn't see anyone else do so either; the menu is kind of hidden when you walk up to order. I would characterize the service as efficient but not especially friendly; better than before but room for improvement. We still prefer The Neighborhood coffee here in town for the welcoming atmosphere and incredible house-made pastries. Jeroma would be an adequate backup plan read more

Stayed at Cottonwood for the night and found this place in the morning. Modern-looking, minimalist decor with plenty of room, chairs, tables, sofas for people to hang out/get work done. Standard selection of espresso drinks and some specialty drinks and I got the campfire iced coffee (technically a mocha?) that has graham syrup and house-made marshmallow mocha sauce. Like another reviewer said, it is on the sweet side, but that's what I was expecting and was very happy with it. It's not overly sweet. The choice of milk, at least for that day, was standard milk, full cream, oat, almond and coconut. Food-wise, they have more hearty stuff like breakfast and lunch sandwiches and lighter snacks/baked goods like muffins, cookies and scones. The worst coffee shop I've ever been to. I'm elated the cottonwood branch closed. Why? 3 different times early in the morning the cops were there and major drama was going down. The last time I was there I ordered a simple drink a cortado- equal parts seamed milk to espresso. I paid this little brat and tipped her, she hands me a cup of espresso, I tell her the drink comes with milk, she didn't know what the drink was and had never made it but I already paid. She told me there's cold cream in n the counter and refused to steam the milk to make the drink. Then started giving me attitude like that's your problem not mine, I don't just give away free steamed milk. Omg I paid this little psycho for that drink so I asked for someone intelligent that knows how to make coffee drinks, no manager, she was getting away with this - taking my money not giving me anything but espresso that had gone cold, her attitude was unbelievable I asked for a refund she refused so I poured the espresso into her tip jar and left. I was angry for days over this. The way this child was acting I've never experienced someone be so stupid while acting so righteous. She's lucky I didn't take all of her tips to pay myself back for the 8$ drink I never received. My friend thought it was because I didn't give a 20% tip and she saw that and decided to chose violence. What barista deserves a 20% tip, they don't especially when they don't know what a cortado is: thank god the location is closed and reopened as something else. I'm going to go there hoping for good vibes and workers who aren't mentally unhinged gen z trash. The coffee isn't that good anyway. read more

Best coffee in Cottonwood by far. I've tried all the local coffee shops and this one takes the cake. Their barista very clearly has had proper training/education in coffee making. The coffee's are full of flavor but don't hide the taste of robust espresso. Additionally, the cafe area is roomy so if you want to hang out there for a while, there is plenty of space. I love Firecreek Coffee and order it shipped to my home when I can. Did you know they offer a subscription program as well? So worth it, but nothing beats stopping in for a freshly made cup or two. I typically drink cold brews, but their campfire is my favorite. Today I ordered an iced 16oz and sat on the patio. My daughter ordered the same. This was the first time at this location. I was please at how much larger it is than their oak creek location. Couches, cozy chairs as well as tables leave you with many options to hang out. The patio is great with spots on the sun or shade. The environment is really nice to study and have a coffee but it's gross the cashier at cottonwood location (older lady with brown long hair) never changes her gloves. We have seen her walk in and out the restroom with the same gloves that she checks people out with and touches their muffins and drinks that they put in their mouths. Also cleans down surfaces with chemicals and then proceeds to touch food with the same gloves. I enjoy this coffee shop but it makes you not want to purchase items when she handles it with a dirty glove that's kept on for hours, and the muffins always look really appetizing but it's uncomfortable deciding to purchase an item when she handles it. read more

I am so glad I stopped at this location during our time in Cottonwood. It is definitely one of those coffee shops I'd stop in and make a regular thing next time I'm in the area. First off, it's big, lots of indoor/outdoor seating. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly and assisted me in answering some questions I had while purchasing some bags of beans. We ordered the Campfire and and Horchata latte, both were delicious but I have to say I am in LOVE with the "campfire latte" it was so perfect! I enjoyed my coffee outdoors during these covid times and can't wait to visit this location again. I heard they are opening a new shop in Phoenix which is where I visited from so woo-hoo! The good stuff is here. Camped in the area last night and thought I would treat myself to some local coffee. I ordered the house chai, omg it was delicious.
