The drive from Phoenix to Flagstaff is relatively uneventful, and in August, just plain HOT! So we were very pleased to find a Starbucks so close to the highway to refresh ourselves. We decided to go inside and have the full coffeeshop experience, but that is where the enjoyment ended. The staff were slow and seemed uninterested, but the drinks were cold and we were in need of a rest. The real kicker was when we decided to purchase a French Press for our weekend in Flagstaff. I had trouble getting someone to help me with questions about their options, and when I finally just made a decision on one, I had to stand for at least five minutes at the counter to get waited on. Like others have said, there were 5 people behind the counter, and they seemed more interested in talking or emptying the trash, then selling me my item. It was frankly the worst service I've had anywhere for anything, and it's made me look at Starbucks in a new light. I'm from Seattle originally, and remember how Starbucks set the customer service standard so high, and just shook my head and we left. P.S. The special little 4-minute timer that came with the high-end French Press we bought did not work!!, in fact, it would stop half way through it's timing sequence, or go off in the middle of the night! Absolutely terrible. I'm polite to a fault, so I'm never the one to yell at someone in a store, but I wanted to. They lost five drinks in the time I was there. They never had them lined up in their queue. After asking one barista to make mine, she asked me what it was, and didn't say another thing. She just kept making drinks for people who had come in after me. I asked the manager politely to have mine made quickly, and she also didn't respond beyond asking what the drink is. She at least got it made, but I didn't get so much as a passing apology from anyone. Plan around this one, folks. read more

Wow! The Barista a short blond working the morning of December 18 2014. I wished I would have gotten your name because I thought of you later in the day. This is a clean location and very friendly staff. They do not put out a tip jar so your friendly service is legit. My barista was happy to be at work. She told me to enter to win the free starbucks for life and told me how two people had already won. It was refreshing and glad we mad the stop, clean bathrooms too!!!! read more

The employees are Very friendly and the place is pretty enjoyable with friends and family. This is my one of favorite places in camp verde.

Stop here a lot going to and from Phoenix to Flagstaff. The coffee I've gotten and chai lattes are usually good but can't always get the scone or other treats I like. The bathroom is messy more often than not. Not dirty per se, but paper on the floor, footprints in the stalls, drips in front of the sink. Stuff like that which makes my visit more of a 3 Star than a 4 or 5. I like Starbucks for its ambience and usual cleanliness even in the airports, but this one...makes me sad. read more

Ordered the double shot iced with non fat milk. Strong just like my hubby! Love it! Nice trip to Flagstaff and coffee was needed driving back to Phoenix! The staff was friendly and even though they messed up my hubby's order we got the oops coffee for feee. Score. Thanks Starbucks! We'll be back again! read more

Wow. Just wow. On top of the guy keeping my change, he also didn't want to charge me for products in his store. For lack of better words he clearly had his head up his a**. Their customer service is something to be desired. I ordered a drink this morning, there was no one in the drive thru or in line inside. They misunderstood me so I clarified, when I went to pay one girl is complaining "I heard no ice, that's what I heard" over and over again as I am waiting and looking right at her as she is complaining. It's always odd going to a Starbucks in the middle of nowhere in a passing as you traverse the state. This one was no doubt no different. Nothing bad but just a slower speed of U personalized service. Mid day with about 7people I line and it took entirely too long. No worries but maybe grow a couple young bucks I there to help slang the coffee and bring some personality. read more

This is not the best located Starbucks and it shares an area with a few other businesses, so it's hard to get in and out of. I ordered the passion tango tea with lemonade since I liked it so much last time. The girl asked me this time if I wanted "sweet" or "unsweet," and I said "sweet," but she must have misheard me because I got the unsweet drink. It's still okay, but kind of tart and wouldn't have bothered had I know. I was in a hurry otherwise I would've gonna back in. They were still friendly and fast. read more

I go here all. the. time. and I am always greeted with a cheery smile and quick service. LIke, seriously, these ladies are the nicest gals of any Starbuck's I have been to. So many people said this place was so slow? Well, for your information, this is NOT LA, NYC, or Phoenix for that matter, it's Camp Verde so GTF over it! LoL This location does get busy from dang Phoenicians heading up the hill when the Phoenix news says "Snow In Flagstaff!" (did I mention UGH?) so if it's a Friday then yes, you may have to wait a nano-second for your "non fat no foam room for cream chai soccer mom drink" you buy but take a deep breath, relax, and by the time you realize how slow our little town is, DING, your drink is done and you can be ON YOUR WAY out =) read more
