I was worried the bacon would have a spicy cake, but the cake is very minimal. The bacon was delicious! Our second day was not as good of an experience as we had a younger server who was not at the level of Todd. We laid our vouchers on the side of the table, just as we had done the day before, and this he completely missed them and brought our bill with full charges. Therefore, he had to go back and redo the bill. He didn't seem fully awake. LOL. He also was not as friendly as Todd. Next time we go, we will ask for Todd. When I called the shop, a staff member--who I believe was the manager, Nick (sorry if I misspelled the name)--was incredibly kind and thoughtful. He immediately offered to help ship my bag back to my home in LA so it wouldn't disrupt my holiday plans at all. When I mentioned that I would be leaving California about a week later and was worried about timing, Nick reassured me that he would personally make sure everything was taken care of. True to his word, I received my bag before I left California, with everything inside perfectly intact. I even offered to pay for the shipping, but never heard back about the cost--and honestly, regardless of that, I am just deeply grateful for the kindness and integrity shown here.
