It's a very unique town on its own, and the drive from Jerome to Phoenix was absolutely amazing, it almost felt like a drive through the Pacific Northwest. Back to the coffee shop... it's tiny, but as an architect myself, I really appreciated the unique "flatiron" design. They don't have too many items on their menu, but it seems like they do what they have on the menu really well. I tried a vanilla latte, and it was great! I'd highly recommend checking out this coffee shop and strolling around town to enjoy even more of the uniqueness in Jerome!

There were flies buzzing around the area where we were seated outside, which was rather off-putting. The lattes and mochas, priced at around $6-7, arrived lukewarm. Additionally, there was a mix-up with our order; my husband had requested extra bacon, but it was forgotten. A different waiter came to check on us, and when we mentioned the missing bacon, she promised to look into it. We ended up waiting for over 30 minutes, but the bacon never arrived. Our second day was not as good of an experience as we had a younger server who was not at the level of Todd. We laid our vouchers on the side of the table, just as we had done the day before, and this he completely missed them and brought our bill with full charges. I designed my own wrap of turkey, provolone, lettuce, onion, pepperocinis, sunflower seeds, and raspberry vinaigrette; and got it grilled. YUM!!! My love ordered the Chili Dog and devoured it. We almost ordered one of the tasty-sounding soups--creamy Italian or tomato basil. Next time I'll give the soup and salad combo a try. Put Russo's on your lunch list! And then top it off with one of their cheesecake creations.
