When I've had success visiting this store, the people have been lovely. I don't go here often but do visit when my kids have activities in the area. However, about half the time I visit , whether it's them being on strike or technology issues, they are closed. read more

We recently moved to the area and my biggest moving regret might be moving away from a Starbucks that was consistent ... didn't know that was going to be an issue! I'm not sure if this location knows how to make cold foam of any kind. You pay extra to get it on a cold brew, and the last few (all times I've tried here) have been a total flop. Today being the absolute worst, which leads me to this review. Thank you guys for helping rejuvenate us during hard times! You guys are my heros; otherwise I would be a zombie. I love their birthday cake pops, frappiccinos (esp matche green tea, strawberry, or vanilla bean) , and the matche green tea latte is so creamy. Pumpkin bread is wonderfully fluffy and the Danish is crispy to a tea. As a regular customer, I love seeing my favorite barista as well as the other familiar faces who are friendly and have a good sense of humor to cheer you up every morning. Thanks everyone! Tonite really disappointed. They were supposed to be open until 8:00. We went there at 5:45 and they were closing. We wish they had updated the app. We checked the app to verify hours. Otherwise we love Starbucks. But Eden Prairie closed early tonite as well. read more

Breakfast was standard. Customer service was enjoyable. Staff were friendly although busy. Parking lot is a bit confusing. This location seats a bunch, with inspiring surroundings. I will return to enjoy myself again. read more

I'll be honest this is one of my favorite Starbucks to go to in the Twin Cities. I typically go here before I work redeyes at night and the staff is always super friendly ,kind, and quick! The indoor seating just opened up again and it is also a great place to work! read more

It's ridiculous waiting 30 min in a drive thru to get to the window and have the girl not get the order right and then any hot food ordered sits there getting cold. It's consistent that the people at the window aren't learning and getting better or improving. They don't care and it's always laughed off when she makes mistakes. The mangers clearly don't see it or even worse, don't care. There is a big problem at this location that needs to be addressed. read more

Yesterday I went waited 15mon to get my order and then they got started on my breakfast sandwich when the food prep workers realized their mistake. They insisted I needed to wait and be patient. After 15 min I was I had said nothing, was not rude. Just wanted to know where my food was because I had to open the store to my job in 30 min. They told me I needed to be more patient and wait. After I informed them that just was not possible they said they would fix the charges. It was never fixed. Called them they said I can come in and get them to do so. Or go online. It's not possible to get fixed online. And now it's been a day so there is no proof that I did not get my food. I work three jobs, and have a brain tumor. But, I have one question why is it so hard to fix my mobile order in the store, on the app, or on line. Why is it up to me to take time out of my 12 hr shift at the hospital, time with my 5 kids, or stop between my other two jobs. Or even come out of my house on a migraine day. To fix this problem. Had to go inside today, as drive thru line was very long and is usually slow. Inside was dirty: coffee beans all over work area, leaky mess stain on floor, flies in food display case and flying all around - - yuk! There seemed to be enough workers, though, so I don't understand the slowness and lack of cleanliness. Also, my fav drink, mocha frap, tastes different every time from this place. This place is getting backward since the last time I was here. There are plenty of workers and they are very nice but also very slow service. The most thing bothering me is not cleanliness. I mean; the floor is filthy with paper pieces and food crumbs. The tables are unorganized and not cleaned after people left. The garbage container is full up to top. While a Starbucks, it's the absolute slowest on the planet. The drive thru is 10 times slower than the one in Eden Prairie or literally anywhere else in the US and I travel every week so I can judge. I just walked out and feel compelled to review. I am here every week and it is consistently filthy inside. Gross floors, tables, flies everywhere. Plenty of staff and while drive thru IS consistently busy, there are staff who could be sweeping floor. Bathrooms are also not very clean and FREEZING COLD. SKIP THIS LOCATION!!! Seriously- I have been here four times and every time it's something new that's wrong. First two times with drive-through that took 10 and 12 minutes - and both times my frappucino was melted by the time I got it so had to carry it inside and get a new one. Inside once they made my order completely wrong (milk vs coconut, white chocolate vs mocha). I was the only one there! Today took the cake when I told the gal while she was writing my order on my cup (the wrong type of cup at that) that I was using my stars freebie. She clicked her register and said ok, I scanned and then she said there's no money on the card. Right, I'm using my freebie. Then she launches into- I kid you not- a three minute lecture on how I "got to tell her" I'm doing it, and how frustrated she is now she has to unring it and fix it. Seriously- a lecture and all because she didn't hear me. Worst cashier ever at a Starbucks. I will NOT be visiting this one again. Sticking to the awesome service at the Kowalski's location in Excelsior from now on. I've had friends with similar issues at this location. The employee was nice and quick with my order. Lots of seating available and not too noisy. The music is also not too loud, which many coffee shops in general are. I docked a star due to the floor being a little dirty with pieces of straw wrappers strewn around. This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations! The staff are incredibly friendly, fast and efficient! (Especially Wendy!) There's a decent amount of seating on the inside and it's not super cramped. The temperature is always very nice too. Outside, there's seating that wraps around both ends of the store, but there could be a little more shading... Stopped today as the line was only 4 deep...17 minutes later I got to the window. One drink correct...the other was ordered as kids cocoa and I was given a tall white mocha. I mean seriously. This place has the worst drive through...it could not be any slower! An average of 15 minutes even when there is only 4 cars with me being the 4th! I was soo excited when they moved there so I could get my favorite coffee in a drive through...because with 2 babies it's just hard to lug them out of the car for a coffee! I've gotten my food faster at restaurants then I get a simple coffee here. I don't know what takes so long, I've given them 3 chances thinking it was just a fluke. Finally today I drove out of the drive through and went somewhere else. I got my coffee faster at a walk through place, carrying 2 kids with 5 people ahead of me! This Starbucks is slow, the service is on-and-off, and it is usually dirty. I have been here several times, and my order is almost always done wrong and has to be re-made. It is rare that any staff tries to know their customer, and they can be a bit stand-offish at times. I also dislike the noise from the crowd that hangs out in the store. It just isn't a relaxing place to sit and have a coffee or tea. It is also kind of inconvenient to get to - but it is the only one in Chanhassen (other than the one in-store location nearby). Sigh. I want to give this two stars, but because most of the workers are so nice I feel compelled to give them three. It does not have a great atmosphere; there's nothing inviting about it. This shop is in a good location but is short staffed. Drive up is almost always busy and walk-ups are are pretty steady. Sometimes I don't like to go there because cleaning is an afterthought. I bring my own wipes for the table and that's ridiculous. There needs to be a dedicated cleaner at all times. Also, the bathrooms get a lot of use and could use more attention. Tend not to go to this Starbucks location due to it's lack of consistency and excessive crowds. Also, there have been a few times shortly before closing where they close before posted times. Having worked in drive thrus, my management wouldn't tolerate an early close, but just beware. If you're thinking you have time before close, don't even bother going to this location. And lunch rush is almost a joke, for drive thru and in store. read more
