Need to pay attention when customers ask for a soy latte instead of milk. There is usually a reason people don't prefer milk.

Not just a lunch but an experience!…read more What a delightful spot. I love the vibe and the tea; I love it all! I started with the peach ginger matcha tea-yum. We opted for the ultimate menu package, which included sandwiches, scones, and your choice of quiche or frittata, fruit, or salad. The inside is absolutely adorable, and from where we sat, we could see the beautiful view of Lake Michigan. My broccoli and cheese quiche was absolutely divine, and so much food was left over that we took it to go. I love the lemon curd that came alongside the scones. This is more than a lunch. It is an experience, and I would definitely return. But ladies, it's not just for guys. I heard that the bar opens on the weekend and makes different specialty cocktails, so bring the men and your life, too!

The customer service was top notch. For our experience, my girlfriend and I ordered the Tea and Scones combination with two slices of the souffle quiche. We were provided with a variety of scones ranging from the sweet cranberry apricot scone to the tart lemon scone. All of the scones were excellent with the teas, and the cream and curd that came with them tasted as fresh as advertised. We were very surprised about how large the quiche slices were and even more pleasantly surprised at their quality. This is a spot I would recommend both visiting for the first time and coming back to. I definitely will be back the next time my girlfriend is in the area.

I let her know that. When I went in, it was early in the morning around 9 AM so barely anyone was there. I told her I wanted an iced coffee and asked for her syrup flavors that they had. She showed me the flavors which were quite a variety which made me excited to try. I saw that they had almond flavor and I asked her what flavor would go with that and her response was. I don't know. I'm not a coffee person. I don't really drink coffee in my mind. I'm like this is supposed to be a coffee shop and you don't like coffee? So I was left there feeling like wow I'm just out here on my own. I guess not a good feeling then after two minutes she was already done with my coffee and I looked at it and it was completely black. There was no milk in it and then I said well I'd like milk in my latte please she's like OK here and she poured some of the milk in and said I don't wanna overflow it . I ended up having to put tons of sugar in it because I don't think she put any flavoring in it at all. I paid almost $5 for a watered down horrible iced latte. The only good thing about this place was the ambience was so cute but unfortunately because of this experience, I have no interest to go back or refer this place to anybody. You should not be charging almost 5 dollars for watered down coffee and definitely need to get employees that actually like coffee or know something about coffee so that people can have the overall experience that they deserve if they're going to spend five dollars on coffee.

I was…read moreexpecting to walk in and get fried or baked lake fish, but to my surprise this place goes for a more tropical theme. Soon as you walk in, you feel like you were transported to a tropical island in the Caribbean. Most of the seafood items consist of lobster, shrimp and mahi. But they also offer burgers, various chicken dishes, and tropical drinks. I was not expecting to like the restaurant this much, but they are a hidden gem. The lobster roll I got came with pineapple coleslaw for $24, which is a pretty good deal for lobster roll. I also asked to have it with a side of chips, which was a good idea as it gave my meal more texture since the lobster rolls are very soft, but delicious nonetheless due to the fact they use Hawaiian rolls for the sandwich bread. I finished my meal with a slice of key lime pie, which was also excellent. The staff here are also very polite and do their best to make sure you are satisfied. 100% worth a visit even if you don't live close to them (no matter what time of year)
