So, keep in mind to be sure to look directly to your right towards the end of the first lane when you're driving into the plaza. As far as a coffee, I do believe that it was very fresh and they had a decent amount of options for flavors. Right now they have the holiday flavor so of course I had to try the cookie butter latte. I am a firm believer of ensuring that a coffee has great taste in addition to still being able to taste the actual coffee which I believe this shot did a great job at. It's not too sweet and it's also not better either. My fiancé got the white chocolate raspberry latte which was super tasty. He's not the biggest coffee drinker and he said that this is probably the best coffee that he's ever had. The man working at the wine spot was nice and took the time to talk to me. The other workers mostly just looked at me and didn't say anything. No "hello", no "welcome". Just stares. My husband made a left turn into the drive-thru line before I even had the chance to ask. Scooter's Coffee may have one of the friendliest to go cups I've ever sipped from; a cherry apple red cup and lid with a yellow happy face on it. I loved it! I ordered a cappuccino so I could have something warm and delicious to sip on for the rest of our drive. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

Oh, Country Bake Shoppe, you got me!…read more Being a bakery owner myself, I'm always excited to visit other bakeries. I genuinely enjoy seeing what other bakers create, tasting their specialties, and supporting the talent and hard work that goes into a small bakery. I stopped by Country Bake Shoppe and picked up Whoopie pies, cupcakes, and a pecan bar. Pumpkin nut bread was NOT on my original list. Then I tasted the Whoopie pie. Y'ALL. It was so good that I had to go back and get something else! That's when the pumpkin nut bread came home with me too. When something is good enough to make another bakery owner turn around and go back for more, that says something! There was something so comforting about this little country bakery. Nothing pretentious--just beautiful, homemade baked goods that taste like they were made by people who truly care about what comes out of their kitchen. As the owner of Sugar Daddys Bakery, I spend so much of my life creating things for other people to enjoy. Every once in a while, it's wonderful to be on the other side of the counter and simply enjoy another baker's work. And Country Bake Shoppe, I ENJOYED YOURS! Order…read moreone regular and one decaf hot coffee's and they have been spot on and hot when they were given to us. Some times the coffee is not so hot so it is not worth it. This store has done well in all that we have asked. Went in side last night and the two young ladies and a young man were the servers. All were working and cleaning up and setting up for the morning shift. A pleasant surprise to see this normally when associates have down time they are on their phones. Glad to see them working and maintaining the store standards their manager expects of them and to help out the staff that starts early in the morning. Keep up the great work will be our go to place for coffee.

After swearing never to return, I figured I'd take my chances on getting a box of coffee using a…read more$15 Gift Card. The young man at the counter took my order and I handed him the gift card. He gave me the total ($24.99) but didn't discount the card. When I asked him why it was $24.99 when I gave him the gift card, he replied that it was only a $15 card, not enough to pay for the coffee. I then had to explain that he could deduct the card from the total and I would pay the difference. He then cancelled the purchase and started over. A few days earlier I tried to get my favorite ice cream there (world class chocolate), but they were out. I guess another 2 years will pass before I try them again, or maybe I will just go to the one in Dahlonega.
