The ladies at the Starbucks in Cloverdale are always super amazing and brighten my day! Especially the lady that always says Mahalo :) the energy there is great and I appreciate them being so positive and welcoming even going as far as writing a nice note! give everyone a raise, much love

Conveniently located at the gas station. Very slow for inside service but very friendly. Drive thru is much quicker. Order ahead.

This Starbucks has definitely improved over the years!! The morning staff are so friendly, they know my name and order when I walk in and they're always so happy to be working. My go to Starbucks for my mornings!!

Not the best and I expect the best from Starbucks! Service slow and not friendly, I actually had my card stolen and used there.

We were in town and really wanted some coffee. We got the early, I was surprised by the line . I…read morecould tell that a lot of the local people really support this place. The barista new most of the regulars orders. I noticed that that make homemade syrups. We got the lavender and Carmel lattes. The lavender had a rich floral flavor. Much deeper and intense. Better than artificial syrup. The decor matches the neighborhood. A bit rustic and some modern touches.

The cutest spot! My parents recently moved to Cloverdale and I've been exploring their new town…read morewith them the last few days. We came in for breakfast on a Saturday morning and they were definitely busy with a line out the door. Despite the crowd, all the staff members were welcoming and kind. No one seemed flustered or made us feel rushed. We sat on the patio and enjoyed a piece of apple crumb bread (gf), loaded cheesy toast with avocado, a peluche (stuffed crispy roll), and our coffees. My mom and I each had a lavender latte with oat milk. These were awesome! Rich and smooth with a hint of lavender, not overly sweet at all. My dad had a mocha that was also very tasty. The loaded cheesy toast was delicious and the presentation was better than what you get at most boutique cafes in SF or LA. The almond pesto absolutely makes this dish and the spicy mayo drizzle on top is the perfect kick to complement the melty cheese and creamy avocado. The peluche was very good as well-- flaky, crispy outside with roasted potatoes, scrambled egg, and cheese in the middle. You never know if the food is going to meet your expectations when a kitchen is busy on a weekend morning, but it was all tasty and nicely presented. Apple crumble was also stellar! This is the kind of local coffee shop everyone hopes to have in their hometown. Will definitely be going back here with my parents whenever I'm in town for a visit! :)

My favorite! You can…read moretell everything by the salsa and chips at any restaurant and these are the best! Love the food love the service! Love, I can have my dogs outside with me. Solid every time!

My wife, her mom, and I were driving north to Eureka, passing through Cloverdale during lunchtime…read more Flavia's appeared as a restaurant with very strong ratings, so decided to dine-in for an early lunch. It was a good experience, with good food and OK service. There is a dedicated lot next to the stand alone building, so parking was easy. The open sign was on, but the ambiance appeared sleepy, so guessing that it gets a lot busier later in the day. There were two people working, and once we got the front-of-house's attention, were seated at a comfortable table for 4. Complementary chips and salsa were provided Reviews and self-proclamations clearly state that birria (beef) was worth getting, so my wife got the Quesadilla Birria ($13.99), and her mom got the Camarones al Ajillo (shrimp in garlic sauce $19.99). The menudo wasn't available, so I got the Pozole ($15.75) instead. They have cans and bottles of soda and beer, with a can of Coke being $2.50. Everything was good. The quesadilla was more like a grilled burrito (or chimichanga), and had been nicely crisped. My wife really enjoyed it. The shrimp plate came with rice and beans, which were OK, and choice of flour or corn tortilla (average). The large prawns were nicely cooked with a flavorful sauce. My pozole had good flavor without too much fat (the excess had obviously been skimmed) and was quite hot, though I wish it had more hominy and pork. My wife later found out that the meat used here is butchered on-site and that care is taken to remove excess fat. It really shows: all the meat dishes were not greasy and there wasn't the pools of fat that often accompany hastily prepared dishes. It was appreciated. Clover is the payment processor and there is a 3% fee for using a credit card.
