Nice. How you fit a tall latte in the price of a Grande cup. Fill 3/4full. Ripoff! Starbucks latte filled to the top of the brown cup holder in liquid. Another inch of foam. Pretty good little watering hole, a great place to stop on the way in or out to the coast. The drinks we got were simple but good, the store was clean and well-stocked, the bathroom is free, the employees were pretty good, and it wasn't overcrowded. My girlfriends review....We have gone to a lot of starbucks and this one is close to the worst. The drinks are watered down and have no flavor at all. The girl got my drink order wrong I was suppose to get a venti mocha non fat milk and a grande iced caramel macchiato. They gave me 2 hot drinks and had to make me an iced one the messed up one and it was overflowing with coffee that spilled out onto the lid I gave it back to them because it was obviously to full and it wasn't made right again. I was over it and left with 3 coffees that tasted like crap and were wrong. read more

Came back for an update. After many chances and giving into cravings to go grab a Starbucks in my hometown since last review, I can say it's still the same. I often see new workers and they're very polite and respectful, however there is a male assistant manager that needs to be re-evaluated. My drinks are daily never right, the way I order them. Y'all just don't listen! So I called to speak to someone to give "feedback" and I was VERY respectful. I was given the phone from Julie, who is amazing, over to some assistant manager. I started talking about what was going on and what happened and immediately he cuts me off to say with a nasty attitude "NO-tell me What the order was so we can fix it!" Okay that's what I'm trying to do. So I start giving him the info and immediately he pulls the infamous "hello- hello?" Rudely sighs and hangs up on me. Despicable attitude and customer service. I can't imagine he trained the rest because everyone is usually so polite but I swear you guys don't listen!!! I can go to ANY Starbucks with in California and get my drink exactly as ordered every time except for this location. I asked one time for y'all to fix it. I got attitude and told "I have so many cars backed up right now-what's the problem?" I'm given non soy which makes me sick on the toilet all day, some random Frappuccino I didn't order, my kids hot chocolate came out as "syrup/Creme" What ever that is and I ask for extra of something and I'm told "I only have one button for "extra" when you can simply type it in or relay the message to your fellow barista. So upset!! I've been living in Cloverdale for a little over a year now, and this Starbucks has really gone downhill! I went inside and place my order, then realized person after person was getting their order before mine. I politely said something to a barista and apparently they hadn't written cups for my drinks. Ok fine, but when I went to tell her my drinks, she got snarky with me and both my drinks were wrong! I'm 95 percent sure I was given decaf shots because thet weren't happy with me! Every single time I go here, my order comes back to me inaccurate. When I order, they repeat my order back to me correctly, and then never is it ever printed out and crafted correct. I used to work at Starbucks and when I did, i loved it. As a customer of this location, I am really disappointed. It not only takes forever to get through this drive thru, it also is a slap in the face as you approach the window and have to wait with the window shut until you're greeted. When you're finally greeted, they take your money and make you wait even longer for your beverage. They don't try to connect with their guests at the window and it's honestly a terrible experience. I only go to this location because of its convenience, although I am not pleased and after going here several times on multiple occasions and my blonde vanilla latte never coming back to me with vanilla, my muffin smashed, the partners complaining if it is after 12pm and I order a blonde coffee pour over, etc., I will no longer be a customer of this location. I, again, and very disappointed with the service here. Speed, accuracy, and customer service are all the the basic expectations guests hope to receive when ordering at any drive thru, and Cloverdale Starbucks exemplifies none of these. Stopped by for some caffeine while filling up at the gas station next door. It's a nice location with a drive-thru. But not even a hint of a smile from any of the baristas and took over 15 minutes to get a java chip frap and a double shot over ice, even though there were only about 5 other customers inside the store. Customers who ordered after us got their drinks before us. And they forgot about about the double shot until we went and asked for it again. typically, one starbucks coffee shop is very much the same as the next. which is why we enjoy stopping for a cup of coffee on the road at startucks, typically the experience is predictably very good. sometimes you'll find one that a bit messy, maybe even a lot, or one with rude baristas, or a team that's slow and clueless, or the team that's not in sync with each other. but we've never visited one like what we found in cloverdale. this starbucks met all of the above criteria. read more

It appears that most of the customers are tourists stopping for gas and bathrooms so they don't realize that the horrible service and very unfriendly employees are the norm at this store. I have decided to skip the Cloverdale Starbucks and get my coffee in Santa Rosa where I work. I've been staying in Cloverdale for 2 weeks helping a family member move. This is the SlOWEST Starbucks I've ever encountered and this has been proven four different mornings now. I went 3 days ago to order the Cold Brew and they were out. Fine. I returned today and they were STILL out. WTH? Also, the girl taking my order was EXTREMELY rude about it. I asked 3 questions.....? Will you have the Cold Brew later today? She said nobody brewed it. WTH does that mean......is this not a coffee place??? Then I asked her Okay, when will you have the Cold Brew again, tomorrow? She rudely informed me that their coffee grinder is broken and has been broken for a few days. I think she actually wanted me to apoligize to her for how hard it must be for her because the grinder is broken. WTH???? Isn't Starbucks ONLY job to grind and serve people coffee? I thought so. Did she say I'm sorry for the inconvenience here is a free card to enjoy one on us once our grinder is fixed? No, she ABSOLUTELY did not. For a small town this is not very friendly or even acceptable customer service. I know it's the time of year where places hire younger holiday help but seriously this was handled incorrectly. They could even place a sign in the drive thru stating their grinder is broken so certain drinks are unavailable. As a customer, how am I expected to know? Yes, I do go to Starbuck's with the expectation that certain things will be available there. As in coffee. Do they really not have a maintenance worker who can come and fix their equipment before a busy weekend? Do they carry no spare parts or machines in a back room? Do they not teach their employees common courtesy any longer in their employee training programs? Big Sigh. And to think......I still don't have any clue when their grinder will be repaired, lol. Skip this spot, it's also a pain in the neck to drive in and out of because of being squashed next to a gas station and freeway exits which seems to cause a bottle neck greeting in and out of the driveway, it's too bad this store is suck low quality as it sits in a good location with freeway travel. read more

This one star is because of this rude girl Olivia who works there. I have been coming in every day the last few days....and this girl walked over to the door and held the handle and stared me down with a look expecting me to leave. (I looked at my phone because she was glaring at me so hard lol & they close at 8pm despite this yelp saying 9pm)...i looked at my phone and said...."it is 8:01...it is going to take a minute or two to pack up my things is it really necessary to stare me down like that?" (I had a lot to pack up...i was charging my phone....my mini speaker...had to put laptop in bag.... roll up cord etc...and just wanted to do it in peace without feeling rushed by her) ....she doesn't budge and says "you need to leave" and I was like...."could you be any more awkward?!? That is not an appropriate way to treat a customer". She rolls her eyes and says "it is time for you go leave NOW" totally disregarded what i was saying....I was like...." yeah way to make a customer feel super uncomfortable...."...she won't budge. Unbelievable. I asked who her manager was....and she was like "go ahead and call her she will tell you we close at 8" with a zero fucks attitude. OK I will then. Her coworker had to come up and tell her to go wash dishes because she could see that her standing by the door was feeding the tension. But then her coworker stood there too. It was 8:01pm for crying out loud. So crazy how some people just don't know how to act with guests. I have been in other starbucks 10-15 minutes after close even... so totally not necessary but i wasn't even trying to do that....just wanted to pack up my stuff without some young girl w an attitude breathing down my neck. None of the chairs were up yet and she couldve started that or mopped in the corner while I packed my stuff up. So unnecessary and uncooth. After reading some of the other negative reviews on here, there are others who have commented on the rudeness and attitude of the workers there. Wow. read more

the coffee here is usually burnt & the cashier's argued with my boyfriend that it was not. I am a gold member of Starbucks & bought a bag of beans & was informed my grande americano in my own cup would not be free but they could do it once... usually only tall drip coffee is free with bag of beans purchase.... so the lady filled my cup with 2 shots & asked if i wanted anything else??? really? maybe add water i said.... so she filled my cup up with barely warm water from the tap..... really awesome.
