This is one of my favorite locations. The customer service is always on point. My favorite voice to get when I order is Penny. Her tone and energy is always uplifting. It's always a great start to a day when you encounter someone that cares about providing excellent customer service. My beverages are always on point too. The drive thru is fairly quick. I have been a regular here for 3 years. So I seen different managers in different staff which is normal. Once the new manager Wendy( I believe is her name)came things have been smooth. Yesterday they were out of Cold Brew with Cascara Cold Foam so I settled for another drink. Today I wanted the Nitro cold brew but Nope they are out...ok the Vanilla Sweet cream cold brew...no they are out of cold brew smh. For $5 a drink I guess I just don't expect a BILLION dollar company to ever run out of any thing. Im going to see if they need a logistics manager I can help them monitor and manage there supplies better so they don't ever have to tell a Star Customer since 2014 that they are out if things 2 days in a row. Update: Service at this location has recently gotten pretty slow. Still a good cup of joe. Stop here often on my way to work. Coffee is always great, food usually so. Just off I-85 so drive thru is always busy but quick. Inside is slower when full, but hey, if you're going inside you probably have a few minutes anyway right? Friendly folks- they always know my face, sometimes remember my drink, never remember my name. Inside has tables & free wifi, bathrooms are always very clean. I waited in the drive thru for almost 20 minutes, no one bothered to respond to take my order at the speaker. When I pulled up, they told me I had to drive around and wait in line again. Manager on duty said the same. Not even an apology. Very poor service. I ended up having to come inside to order and waited an extra 15 minutes. I'm a manager at a high volume restaurant down the road and this should have been handled totally different, regardless of how busy it is. Multiple times I have ordered at this location and they've forgotten my extra shot that i paid for and I've said nothing, I will not be returning to a Starbucks anytime soon and the coffees that I pick up daily for my coworkers will now be picked up from Dunkin. Stopped here to grab two coffees and two pastries and get back on the interstate QUICKLY. The drive thru line was ridiculous so we went inside. There were maybe 5 people waiting inside ahead of us. We placed our orders at 9:07 am and half of the order was ready in about 15 minutes. The last pastry wasn't ready for another 10 minutes. The kicker was a party of 4 came in and had all 4 of their drinks and all 4 of their breakfast items heated and ready to go in less than 5 minutes. The lady even told her she knew they'd ordered multiple food items so she made sure to heat them all up so they were ready at the same time. That was what sent me over edge. I demanded they get the last of our order prepared because that was the 4th person who came in after us and got their food order ahead of us. She said she'd throw it in right away. Well, she did. We got it and left. Half way into the sandwich, it was cold. Awful food and even worse service. They could have cared less. Would NEVER recommend this location. read more

I think the negative reviews are really off. I found the staff to be bright, cheery and efficient. It annoys me when people complain about service when others have to put their lives at risk TO GET YOU A CUP OF COFFEE. That said, this is a great place to get your beverage of choice. read more

Love Starbucks! Hate slow service more! The best time to go in is at 10am on a weekday. I went in to order a cold brew at 9am and guess what? They had none! I know they can only make a limited amount of the stuff like all the other stores. But how are you ALREADY out of it at 9AM? The coffee otherwise is great, cause it's Starbucks. I've visited this Starbucks location several times and have never had any issues. I came here today particularly to get my free "Birthday Drink." If you haven't downloaded the Starbucks app, I would do it just to get the free drink (any size, any order) or free food item on your birthday. I like that they give you a few days to get your free item, unlike most places who require you to get the free item on your actual birth date. Today there was no wait and my drink of choice--grande latte with coconut milk---was as good as ever. The latte with coconut milk is a great option for people who are trying to avoid super sugary/unhealthy drinks. The coconut milk adds a little bit of sweetness without the excessive amounts of added sugar that are in a lot of the other Starbucks drinks. The only negative thing I have to say about this Starbucks location is the parking lot. It's super small and shares parking spots with a few other stores on the same strip. It's cramped and difficult to get in and out of. It is located right off of highway 85 (exit 49), near Concord Mills. read more

This place is usually pretty good at getting drinks out within a reasonable time but i went today and it took them 20 minutes to get my drink to me. When i pulled in there was quite a few people in the drive thru, but no line inside. There were 4 workers and it looked like only one of them was actually doing anything. Others were just talking and didn't look like they were doing much. Everyone was very nice and I come here often but today i was a little frustrated waiting that long. read more

Like the other reviews, this place has SLOW service. My fiance and I ordered a Frappuccino and a cold brew. After 10 minutes of waiting on the coffee (I got a frappucinno after two minutes btw) the barista had the fucking nerve to give my sweet shy fiance some sarcastic bullshit about trying to be more patient. Excuse me??? We waited 10. Minutes. For. A. Coffee. And all she was doing was going to ask on the status of it? Just for politely asking how much longer is it going to be? For an iced coffee? The quality of coffee you would expect from a Starbucks at about 4 times the wait, if not more. Made the mistake of stopping for a much needed pumpkin spice latte and left 15-17 minutes later with what other Starbucks pump out in about 2. I have given this starbucks location numerous opportunities and they have failed. It's hit or miss with customer service there and I wish I knew the name of one of the baristas because he is absolutely fabulous, but everybody else is rude at best. My final straw this week was when I went to go pick up my mobile order. First, I let the barista know that I was picking up and she barely acknowledges me and 100% makes me feel like I'm a huge burden to her. So I patiently wait over 10 minutes for my regular coffee with cream and sugar that I can see already made in the corner. By the time she turns around and actually hands me my coffee it's lukewarm and not correctly made, but I don't even bother trying to get it corrected because of how slow and rude the service is. What made my experience even worse was I witnessed a woman pick up her drink that they directly handed her, she sipped it (the female barista watched her) and the customer said that it didn't taste like the drink she ordered. The barista than flatly said "oh, sorry, I handed you the wrong drink," and proceeded to give her a different drink. THEN instead of dumping out the sipped drink, the barista proceeded to place the drink in the drive thru orders!!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY WRONG AND A HEALTH CODE VIOLATION!!! I will not be returning to this Starbucks even though it's 5 minutes down the road for me. I went every day this week and was constantly disappointed by their lack of customer service and people skills let alone their disregard for health safety. read more

I parked and went in, and got my drink in under 5 minutes even though the drive thru line went around the building and out the parking lot. Absolutely does not know how to plan well for sales promotions. Two days in a row they had no whipped cream. No cup sleeves and were extremely understaffed. I waited over 30 mins for my drinks and they were subpar at best. My latte was cold before I even got home (and I only live 5 mins away).
