Visited the Haraz Coffee House when in Flourtown. They have so many middle eastern coffee shop options. They have Yemeni coffee and other such goodies. I ended up getting a pistachio milk cake. The coffee shop is relatively small but there was a good amount of empty seating the day we went. In the back, there was a couch with a coffee table which was pretty cozy. The pistachio milk cake was very moist. I like how creamy the cake was. The cake was topped with pistachio crumble.

I didn't know about the coffee history of Yemen. I was in Flourtown for an appointment and stopped at Haraz Coffee House. Started in Michigan in 2021, there are now 31 locations with more planned. There were a lot of new to me menu items, a lot featuring cardamom, ginger, and other spices. I got a Harazi spiced latte with cinnamon (excellent), but will try something more adventurous next time. The almond croissant was delicious. Service was friendly. Store was clean and bright. Plenty of parking, too.

Do not use Apple Maps! It'll send you to the wrong location, this is located across from Walgreens. Plenty of parking in the lot! Their menu differs from a typical coffee shop and also contains tea options. I went for the pistachio latte which was not too sweet. My boyfriend had the caramel latte which I thought was wayyy too sweet. We also split the breakfast sandwich, which initially came out cold in the minute but they replaced it with a fully cooked new one. Service was kind, had a good amount of customers working on their laptops.

The space was warm and welcoming, and the barista was so kind and helpful. I also loved that they have Wi-Fi, so I was able to get some work done while I was there. The Biscoff latte was so good, and the chocolate croissant was fresh, buttery, and flaky. I'll definitely be making this one of my regular weekday coffee spots.

Biscoff Cloud is perfection in a cup!! Im not a fan of Matcha but Matcha like this is divine!

The coffee and the food are both incredible, super tasty, and I really enjoyed it. The coffee was not overly sweet, the eggs are actually scrambled versus microwaved, incredible. My issue is that if you're there on a busy weekend like I was, a lot of times it is hard to hear when they call out names. They are also not writing the name on every drink. I happen to have the same name as somebody else there with different spellings. If they're not consistent on writing the name on the drink, then it is super easy to end up taking somebody else's. They also do not write what kind of drink it is so God forbid two people have the same exact name and a similar drink, you'll never know who's who's which can cause an issue with allergies. If they were consistent on braiding up names, and the order I probably would have bumped this to five star

A delightful surprise that goes to show the quality of craftsmanship and knowledge that goes into the drinks here at Covered Bridge. I can't admit I'm any sort of coffee snob, I don't drink it black or hot, but as much as I enjoy my insanely sweet lattes, this reminded me of why I drink coffee in the first place. The flavor is robust and deep even through the creaminess of the milk, and the sweetness is subtler than I'm used to. All around a flavorful and satisfyingly smooth latte that actually tastes LIKE COFFEE!! Service was excellent and fast! The young woman working today was so friendly and helpful and seemed prepared to help with advice or knowledge if needed. The in-store space is quaint and comfortable, and on every wall is a selection of goods, repurposed coffee bean bags, snacks, beans, merch, etc.

However, the coffee is just not great. I used reviews to find this place and thought finally a great cup of coffee. My husband got the regular drip coffee and it taste like water with the essence of coffee. I got the chai latte with espresso and although not great it was substantially better than the drip. I would definitely give this place another shot if I lived closer.

Visited a couple of times while I was living in Philly, from what I remember their banh mi were also pretty good. Pretty good place to study/work as well, they have two large table, a handful of small tables, and a bar section. On my recent visit in July 2026 it looks like they limit their wifi to 2 hours on the weekends and 4 hours on weekdays (sad to see since I don't remember this being a thing a couple years ago, but makes sense because they seem to be a lot busier now).
