I felt like I had to update my review because it was a bit harsh. So I've been a bit lazy lately and I've also gotten addicted to the java chip frap so I would go to this starbucks since the drive thru is convenient. I gotta admit, they've consistently make their fraps really good. It's just perfect...not liquidy like how some other places make. I would give it higher ratings but they still messed up on my tea...maybe they really just can't make tea here? This is hit or miss for me. I come here very frequently and almost every time the baristas are rude and act bothered- often on their phones and wearing pajama bottoms. I have gotten maybe 2 nice baristas the whole time- we get you're busy but I've been to way busier Starbucks and they can still smile! Customer service is the only reason I avoid this one. read more

This is one of my favorite Starbucks to go to. I used to come here to study when I was still an undergrad, and now I come here to grade papers on Sunday nights. This store is pretty out of the way, but that means that it's -usually- more empty than the others. It's usually packed during finals week, but you're probably more likely to find a seat here than in the others. They have a drive thru, which is nice if you're lazy. The parking lot doesn't really have enough spaces, especially when it's busy. The drinks here are made well. Very bubbly baristas even at 6 in the morning. This store is quite spacious, and I would just guess that it's less busy than the U-Mall or downtown stores that are more accessible to students. Coffee is typical Starbucks quality. I'm a bit bummed that they're not on Google wifi yet. AT&T is painfully slow, especially when more people get on the network. I hope they make the switch soon! Out of all the Starbucks locations in Davis, I find this one to be my favorite. Located away from the downtown craziness, this North Davis shop has ample seating (indoors and out) and power outlets near every table since their recent renovation. (HINT: that long wood table on your left when you walk in? It has outlets installed underneath the top) The only downside with their pretty expansion is the exploding volume of students coming in to study during midterms and finals week. If you happen to come here for coffee date during finals week, I'll bet you monopoly $$ you won't find a place to sit. There's always the drive-thru! read more

Favorite Starbucks in Davis. Spacious shop with plenty of chairs and tables. Huge windows with natural lighting. Lots of shelf space for various Starbucks merchandise. The baristas at this location consistently make good drinks. They also work quickly and are friendly. Plus only drive through location in Davis! The staff is always very cheerful, if you come in early morning they will definitely give you some positive energy to start off your day! My favorite drink is a double expresso macchiato! I can say I'm not a big fan of Starbuck's coffee but I enjoyed my last visit to this one. It had a drive-thru which was convenient but scary! It was very narrow and below was a deep ditch. I have a problem about this location about once a week. I know the employees are overwhelmed in the morning rush, but sometimes they take their frustrations out on their customers. There have been a couple of times they messed up my food order (which is fine, it happens) but whenever I point it out to them, they give me backlash and say "this is what you ordered" even though I have the receipt. 1 star for consistency, consistently messing up orders. By far the worst starbucks in Davis. I have experienced it all ordering at this location, I'm not sure where to begin. I ordered through the starbucks app, was given a 5 minute estimate for my order. I ended up waiting for 35 minutes just to get the wrong order. Another time I ordered an iced coffee and iced latte. I watched the barista make both the exact same way. The only difference between the iced latte and iced coffee was the price. Another time I ordered an iced coffee with milk. I was given my coffee without any milk. When I asked the barista for some milk, she went off on me saying how I should've told her I wanted milk (I 100% did tell her) and that she would have to make a whole new drink. It was clearly an inconvenience for her, so I took my black coffee and left. Today I ordered through the app and when I arrived, I was told they didn't have the item. I totally understand that and the barista was nice enough to give me a replacement item. However, I was still charged for the original item, which was twice the price of the replacement. read more

I have been going here for over 11 years & have loved it. It is my neighborhood store & on my way to work but I'm about the drive into Dixon, Ca to get my drinks. I have been patient because of COVID but everywhere else is getting better. I am a huge fan of Starbucks & go to this one to three times a week. Today I walked in & the place was empty. Three people on drive thru & 3 were emptying boxes. Not one single employee acknowledged me & oh did I mention I go here a couple of times a week? I had a Mobil order & the only one. I waited for 5 minutes & still no acknowledgment. The guys in his car at the drive Thru saw me & smiled. I finally had to go & ask the people who were emptying boxes for my drink. The three even looked at me like I was being rude. When did they stop putting customers first? They also don't know my name yet or even smile half the time. Starbucks use to do this. The Starbucks on Lyndell Terrace in Davis is the worst. Today, waited in line behind 3 cars just to place my order only to find they decided to close at 4:00pm. I had been in line for 6-7 minutes waiting, only to be told at the order kiosk that they were now closed. I said it is just now 4:00pm and I've been waiting in line more than 5 minutes. They basically said too bad and wouldn't serve me. I then had to wait for 5 cars in front of me while they got their drinks (another 8 minutes) before I could get out. There were another 4 cars behind me. This has always been a problem child unit with their incredibly rude crew members but this is just over the top now. I will never patronize this Starbuck's again. I'm heading to Dutch Bros and will be giving them all if my business and intend to tell EVERYONE I know to stop going to Starbuck's and for sure to never go to the unit on Lyndell Terrace in Davis. read more

Make sure not to ask for a refill. The manager somehow someway takes it personally. I must say over the years I've been treated rudely and asked if I use the restroom a lot because I get refills. By the way when I spend almost $4 every day and get one refill once in awhile don't take it personally it doesn't come out of your paycheck. read more

Why only two stars you ask? Well I've only begun going to this starbucks. But the past couple of times that I have gone there is a lady there with very short hair that YELLS at me and my friend. Now you're probably thinking it's because we are a couple of people who go get water and don't bring business. Well actually we are exactly the opposite. We're constantly ordering and spending. And the lady is very rude when taking our orders asking what else we're waiting for in a rude manner when we just want our pastry. The past couple of times we have been yelled, when she could just have easily come and told us quietly instead of getting the whole store's attention. This last time was to allow a handicap customer to sit at our handicap table. We were forced off of the table, which we were happy to do, but she got the attention of the whole store to tell us to "VACATE THE TABLE AND TAKE OUR BELONGINGS". Unfortunately we had a laptop and notebooks and books, so it took us about a minute. Apparently this was TOO LONG so she had to yell AGAIN! This place has a nice atmosphere if you would like to go for that. If this lady's not working it would be one of my favorite starbuckses :) Hopefully she transfers to another soon! read more

This is the best Starbucks and the best coffee shop to study while in Davis. You dont have to deal with parking or moving your car after a while (signs says 10 min or 2 hours but parking isnt enforced). Also, this is probably the largest Starbucks in Davis which is nice because it has lots of sitting! Ive never had an issue with not finding a seat. read more

One thing I like about Starbucks is that you can customize your drinks to whatever you want. But earlier it didn't happen, I ordered Double Chocolate Frapp w/1 inch of camamel drizzle on the bottom, and guess what?? the caramel drizzle that they put in it is not even close to half an inch. Very disappointed in the service provided by the cashier today. We work across the street from the Lyndell Terrace location and at least one out of the eleven of us are in this location once and sometimes twice a day. So I'd say this location has made a lot of money from our business in the past 6 years. Our boss decided to treat us to an afternoon pick-me-up today so we typed up our order for ease & to expedite the order process. Helpful right? Apparently NOT! The cashier informed us that ordering this many drinks (10) was unfair to other customers & that next time we need to use the app or call in our order. Really?! So if all ten of us would have walked in & stood in line to order would that have been better?! I essentially live here during finals week. The coffee might be a closer to a 3.5 star, but I appreciate how they designed this Starbucks to be a great place to study for the north davisites. It is roomy with lots of tables set up with outlets. Beware that it gets crowded around midterms and finals and you have to scout out tables. This Starbucks is Starbucks when it comes to coffee, food and gifts, but this place gets the stars for service, cleanliness, efficient drive-thru and plenty of seating. The staff is always very nice and I've never had problems with any of my orders here. Also, this is one of the only Statbucks drive thrus I have been to that has been a speedy as ordering inside (although it is usually more crowded than going inside). They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of tables, which makes it a good place to do work or study. read more
