I had barely just arrived and there is wasn't anyone else at the time. Then a grey suv comes in and mind you our order hadn't been taken yet and neither the order of the grey suv had been taken. Eventually one of the workers comes out with a tablet to take our order since there wasn't anyone else taking orders at the time. The worker jumps in front of my car to tell me to wait since the grey suv had been there first when it hadn't been there first. Eventually our order was taken but the worker was very rude about it and very unprofessional. I was very unhappy with the service and treating customers in a rude manner is extremely unprofessional and upsetting. read more

They offer drive-thru only, mostly students from UC Davis coming here. We were just dropping off my nephew to his apartment. Good thing, dutch bros coffee is very closed-by and we decided to get a cold coffee drinks. I've had the seasonal hazelnut truffle with chocolate muffin top and my nephew got the "golden eagle" (vanilla and a caramel breve with caramel drizzle) "an all time favorites" and for my sister is a winter shimmer blended rebel. This is only suitable for drive-thru but still they have a small parking space around the booth. I go to DB pretty frequently, but this specific location is super messy. They have two lines that they use for the drive through, but, unlike other DB locations, they do not alternate between the lines when taking orders. This means that you could be the first car in one line but not get service for 10 minutes while they go down the entire other line. The broristas are friendly and chatty like always, and the drinks are predictable to what you expect from DB (I'm always getting the Toasted Mellow Chai), but it's not worth the struggle to go to this one if you have the chance to go to a different location in a neighboring town. read more

My first time having Dutch Bros and I loved it! Right now they have seasonal, fall drinks so I got the snickerdoodle chai. I personally love how much cinnamon there was, and thought it tasted fantastic! My friends did complain it was too sweet. I also tasted the caramel pumpkin brulee breve, which was more impressive than the snickerdoodle chai! The salted caramel balanced out the sweetness of the pumpkin while retaining that salty hint. Had high expectations coming in but this place definitely didn't hit the mark. We got the tropical and palm beach iced tea and it tasted like straight dog. I went to Dutch wanting a little energy pick me up so I order a Rose city iced rebel. I waited in line for more than 25 minutes, I don't mind the wait usually ditch bro's lines are pretty long. However there was a group of young workouts standing outside the stand shotgunning what looked like canned rebel energy drinks. Not only is there a longline of people waiting but they're not inside helping make drinks just wasting time.when I finally got to the window the worker was very dismissive, didn't greet me or anything handed me a drink, and turned around. I drove off thinking that was kind of rude. I finally took a sip of my drink and it was an EXTREMELY watered down drink. It tastes like water and syrup. It looked as if it had been sitting for a while because there was very little ice in it. I tried to call and see if I can have a remake but no one answered & I didn't have time to go back and sit another 25 minutes since I was on my way out of town. Pretty good dutch bros, but always super crowded. Their drinks are definitely on the sugary side, which if that's what you like, you'll enjoy it! It's right on the outside of Davis before you enter the university side. There is a good variety of coffee drinks though so there is something for everyone here. My wife and daughters have tried other selections and one thing we all agreed on was that their drinks were on the sweeter side. They used to have a stamp card system for earning a free drink which they ditched in favor of their much improved mobile app. Earn enough points with your purchase and a free drink can be had. But wait, there's more - a free drink of any size and flavor awaits on your birthday. Also, it's half off on your half-birthday! How cool is that! First visit to Dutch Bros! Coming from the East Bay, we'd always pass it on the way to Tahoe but hadn't had a chance to try it until now. We told the employee taking orders outside the drive-thru that we had never been, and he was so patient and helpful. He told us to take our time and went ahead and helped someone who entered through the other driveway (there are two entrances - they are very good managing the line and monitoring who is next). The staff member came right back to us, and we ordered : Poppin' Boba Berry Lemonade Annihilator (hot) regular latte (hot) a muffin top The lemonade and Annihilator were delicious! I personally ordered the Annihilator from the Dutch Faves menu because I enjoy mochas and liked the addition of macadamia nut - and it did not disappoint. Tasted my son's lemonade and it was very refreshing. My husband had the latte and said it was "fine," (he's more of e Peet's guy), and my older son said the same about the muffin top - "fine," (he mostly tried it because of that Seinfeld episode - he has a big sweet tooth, so the fact that he didn't finish it says something...). What really made the experience was the friendly and thorough staff! It was a fun stop while we were in vacation mode, but because it was sweeter than we're all looking for on a regular day, we'll probably only visit once in a while. In case you're wondering what makes it Dutch - I certainly was! - it's because the brothers who founded it are of Dutch descent. Honestly this is going to be an unpopular opinion but I don't care I have to say it. If I could switch out every Starbucks in California for a Dutch Bros, I would! The first time I was here it was absolutely magical! I've heard so many good things about this place and wow did it not disappoint! Their drink menu was a crazy conglomeration of lemonades, teas, and most importantly, chai and me being a non coffee drinker, it was refreshing to see so much more on the menu. I of course had to try their chai latte but wow was making the selection of which out of 10 was very tumultuous indeed. I stopped by on the way back to Sacramento from the bay area. I really wanted Dutch Bros energy drink to enjoy with my fries I bought from In N Out (across the street). It's located right off off I-80, Richard's Blvd exit. This location in Davis is your typical DB: tiny location on a small lot. But, there was no long line. Yay!
