i went today and it was very busy in there and I still got my drinks on time for when it was supposed to be done thru mobile order. My drinks were both very watery and flavorless, there was one guy who worked there who was dark skinned and he was extremely kind and helpful but did not make our drinks. The lady who made our drinks, white with brown hair, made one drink wrong and had an attitude when we asked for it to be remade and she still made it wrong the second time. do not recommend on busy weekends or really going to this specific location at all read more

Brown St/UD is horrible. Super slow and drinks are made sloppy and taste subpar. Hire better people who want to work and can follow a coffee drink recipe. Its a hassle just getting there due to parking,, so get the orders right. Will not be back to the ud ghetto store. read more

Seriously the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. I'm from out of town and this was not a good impression. They were out of hot drink lids and the only way to have a lid is to buy one of their reusable changeable cups. The workers are rude and you really can tell they don't want to be there. Not only did they get my order wrong twice but added cinnamon on top of one of my order that doesn't come with cinnamon. I told them I was allergic to cinnamon and she just scraped it off put a new whip cream on. I told her I didn't want to drink it because I'm allergic to it and there might be residue but she just walked away and didn't pay attention. I also got some tea and the tea bag busted open and tea leaves all in my drink. I would've gone back but no point with such a hideous attitude from the workers. I'm so glad all the Starbucks where I live are not like this. They really need to be more careful especially if somebody has an allergy. So my suggestion skip this Starbucks location and if you have a food allergy definitely don't go here! read more

It's hard to write a review for Starbuck's because what can you say? I mean, it's coffee, or chai, or a latte. Today, I had a hot chai tea. It was excellent! And it wasn't scalding hot. I was able to sip it immediately. I let my wife try my chai and she liked it too. She thought it was cinnamony and yummy. This was her first taste of chair. Who knows? Perhaps, I shouldn't have introduced her because that means less chai for me, going forward. I want all the chai. read more

We walked to this Starbucks while waiting on our Duck Donuts order a few doors down. Two adults, a teenager, and a tween ordered four completely different drinks. All four were correct and made pretty quickly. The staff here were very friendly, taking time to ask us about our plans for the day and chat with the kids, all while keeping the line moving. There was plenty of seating and all the tables were clean. We've been to many Starbucks, and I have to say, this is was one of the best Starbucks we've visited! read more

I stopped in here before heading to the Dayton Greek Festival and thought that this was a very nice (and large/long) Starbucks in a college area. The Barista taking orders was very friendly and welcoming. The Barista making the drinks was very chatty and nice too. Oddly enough, not in a bad way, the Baristas were older and not college students. Parking: Be aware that there is a lot directly behind Starbucks that is very tight and difficult to get out! If you cannot park there, there is a larger lot behind. I would go back if I am in the area. read more

Service has been good, I've been here about 4 times in the last 4-6 months. My only complaint is the bathrooms don't seem to be kept up on. This is a busy location due to proximity to college and they need to be checked more often to keep clean. Other than that food, drinks, and service has been great for me personally. read more

Parking lot behind the store. It's a tiny Starbucks. Always filled with college kids considering University of Dayton is across the street. But this location has great service, very quick and accurate with making drinks. Tip: you can order through the app for faster pick up, order a nitro lid to avoid using plastic straws! read more

This is like crack to any coffee addict. I can drink plain week hotel coffee. So today I decided to venture to a nearby Starbucks for my caffeine fix. This Starbucks is located near UD. There are locals And students alike here. Everyone looks immediately happy after they get their beverage. Today I ordered a latte. And seriously, I could not be more thrilled. My brain gets excited just smelling coffee. So when I received my coffee, it was like brain chemical nirvana. This location is very clean and smells wonderful. The chairs are perfectly aligned. The staff if friendly and welcoming. Which is so nice to see. This isn't the case at every Starbucks. The only down side to that is I normally don't want to anyone before I get my coffee, so it is difficult to reciprocate the kindness prior to caffeine. Great location. Worth a visit. read more

It is very few and far between that I get the perfect peppermint mocha at a SB. Today was one of those few and far between days. Loved, loved, loved it. I docked them a star because they line was so crazy long and they only had one person making drinks. Will definitely go back and hope for a faster line. The parking right behind the store is limited and very tight, so next time I will just park behind the building Fusian is in and walk over. read more

This is the most pleasant Starbucks I have visited in recent memory. The lady who took my order was very pleasant and nicely dressed. She made me feel very welcome and didn't correct me when I refused (as I always do) to use the "Starbucks Lingo" when placing my order. (Tall for small? Vente for whatever? Gimme a break...small, medium, large, extra large. Besides, if you have ever been to Italy, you know the coffee service there is nothing like you experience in Starbucks so drop the pretense.) My absolute favorite location to enjoy coffee. I always get fast && friendly service. The inside of the store is clean and organized. Couldn't ask for a better place to chill. This is a great Starbucks! I don't visit Starbucks often because of bad experiences I have had in the past but this one has changed that. The staff is exceptional; friendly, polite, and always smiling. They make my order just how I like it everytime, and I have some pretty complex orders sometimes. Considering there aren't many of them in Dayton & it's location to a campus this isn't as busy as you'd think. The staff are always pleasant & the place is kept clean. However it seems the staff are always busy with other things; many a time there's only one person taking orders & making drinks while another two are refilling straws or slightly moving food in the cool cabinet. From the unfriendly face at the register, to purchasing a gift card and being told to use a napkin for an envelope, to the fact that my drink was the only one without a sleeve after it was handed to me steaming hot... This Starbucks is pretty good. They are pretty quick and relatively clean. Staff members have always been quite nice as well. Only thing I would say is that they don't have an abundance of parking and what they do have is not the easiest in an out. But for being the closest SB to downtown pickings are slim and beggars can't be choosers. It's not going to stop me from going back though that's for sure. read more
