An early start needs coffee and this morning began in Dayton so I headed up to Kettering to camp out, charge electronics, write Yelp reviews and, oh yeah, enjoy some delicious coffee. At 6:30 am, the place was already a little busy but a two-top table was a comfortable set up with an outlet adjacent. I ordered a cortado from the barista and she brought it over to my seat. Perfection. Served in the proper short glass and with a small glass of sparkling water, this is precisely how it's supposed to be. Folks, if you're sick of drinking a coffee-flavored milkshake, switch to a cortado. It's only 2 ounces of steamed (not foamed) milk with two shots of espresso. You will actually taste the coffee because it won't be swamped in a 14 ounce cup of milk! Warehouse is a comfortable space with nice tables for smaller and larger parties plus a nice space outside. Cute little coffee shop with drive through service. Breakfast and lunch items on the menu, all made in house. They serve Counter Culture coffee, based out of North Carolina. I tried a sausage, egg and cheese on a biscuit. It was really good. The coffee was pretty good too. Only downside is limited seating on the inside. I was in town for drum corps, and stopped by this cute coffee shop for a quick bite and a cup of coffee. Their drip coffee was not my favorite - it was very bitter. The sandwich was good, though the texture suggested it had been reheated in the microwave. I left a review about a year ago and I thought I should come back and leave an updated one. Went here a few mornings ago to get some studying done and I got a hot sugar-free vanilla latte and some type of ham breakfast sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious. This has been a favorite of mine since they opened many years ago. Their lattes are the best in town and you really can't go wrong. I also get their Cassis black tea most often and it's a solid choice if you enjoy tea. The baked goods are very tasty, especially the vegan peanut butter cookie. Last thing I'd recommend is the breakfast sandwiches. All good but I'm partial to the egg and avo on a biscuit. read more

I think it says something when longtime employees and managers seem to be quitting more often. I know margins for restaurants are tough, but the growth of the company to several locations and nonstop customer base would make you think it's easier to pay livable wages for their great employees. I was quite taken aback when in the drive thru, i was handed one of the POS machines to finish my credit card transaction, and the starting tip on the first screen was 20%! Price point on coffee and food is already high for a coffee shop with a food menu ($10 breakfast burrito, $1 for nondairy milk of which you only have two choices, oat and macadamia milk?). I love both locations of Warehouse 4! This one here in Kettering is so cute and cozy (read: the seating fills up fast!) and such a vibe. The Vandalia location is a bit more spacious if you plan to stay a while and work. The drinks are of course all amazing but the food is honestly out of this world. I was not able to try their coffee or enjoy what they had to offer. The interior was so small and the seating was was so little that I had to leave before getting anything. Their food/coffee is likely good as they had quite a few people coming in to order. Stopped by to grab a vanilla latte and an avocado pepper Jack sandwich. The latte was good and hot, creamy and thick. Not watered down like Starbucks. The sandwich was thick! I couldn't even get my mouth over it, so I had to remove the bottom biscuit. (FYI my dentist tells me i have a small mouth so take that as it is lol). This coffee shop located in my neighborhood has been a place for me to go get a nice Matcha Latte and my fave Avocado toast. I recently tried the pumpkin bread and it was delicious. The only thing that I could say is that I wish the avocado toast toppings were more consistent. I've been through the drive-thru before, and the coffee was good. But I went in today because a couple days ago I went to the Vandalia location and I was craving a scone. Unfortunately the pastries at this location just made me really sad. A quarter of the selection, in a tiny countertop pastry case, they looked so boring and pre-fabricated. Whereas in Vandalia the pastries are laid out on the countertop and look fresh and gourmet with exciting flavor combinations this selection looked kind of pitiful. So yeah, I don't know if each location makes their own pastries or what, but presentation is everything and in Vandalia I wanted one of everything, here I passed. I also ordered the same breakfast sandwich at both places. In Vandalia I ate in, here I took it to go. And it might have been because it was to-go, and came to me wrapped in a foil wrapper, but the texture suggested it was reheated. It was good enough - better than Dunkin or McDonald's, but soggy compared to the one I had a few days ago. Coffee is still good, the inside is cute, the patio seems nice. So their Chi Tea Lattes are amazing. Made the way they should - not too sweet and you can taste the chi. Get the cinnamon on top for a bit of spice. Soooooo good and doesn't leave you feeling sugar overloaded like most coffee shops. Place has an amazing cool vibe and casual modern decor inside and out.
