Location was great on our trip across the state. The store was clean and good vibes were flowing through. Good music, as Starbucks does, fast and efficient service. Bathroom needed a bit of tlc it was around 9am, just after the rush of morning customers so I may have just got the bad end of the deal. Coffee was Starbucks, and egg bites were actually the best ones I've had- I love that they cooked it to somehow get a little crispy on one side. Now I hate to complain when service was actually quite efficient... but. The staff was really friendly. Among themselves. Mind you, they were nice enough to me too, but just really loud and friendly among each other, way more so. One group was hanging out on a table by the bathroom, probably on break, but almost like they were having a loud business meeting. Another throng of them were standing by the drive through window (about 7 all there, while one person manned the register inside). I'm sure they were busy with online and drive through orders but there just were too many of them standing around together. So, of course I stopped off and hit up SB. I ordered on my app, parked and was in and out in less than 30 seconds. This location is the halfway point between my house and my mother's. Every once in a while we meet here in the middle and grab a pizza from next-door and a latte from the Starbucks. The store is really clean and cozy and the staff are really nice. When I go to the drive-through the line always moves quickly. This Starbucks is located right off of 70 so if you're passing through it's not out-of-the-way at all. This is a good place to make a pitstop if you're driving through on 70 just outside of Dayton. It's also near a Meijer and a delicious MODs pizza. read more

ONE STAR: DRIVE THRU RIGHT OFF THE FREEWAY/CONVENIENT ONE STAR: LOOKS NEW ONE STAR: FRIENDLY STAFF NO MORE STARS: slowest drive thru ever This is going to always be my go-to b/c it's so convenient, but I need to be sure to add at least 20 minutes to my trip to make a stop here through the drive through. Well, I typically have my pup with me, and can't go in, so I don't know if the experience would be any better if I went inside. There's plenty of parking and grass patch in case your pup(s) needs to relieve themselves. I think there's even Meijer gas or something right there so it does make a pretty great stop off the freeway. Both times they prepared my favorite chi latte exactly the way I like it- iced with two pumps of mocha- and it was delicious! If you're in need of a sunrise wake up cuppa, better than average F3 fare (fancy fast food!) in a cozy-meets-industrial-chic setting, and you're in the NW Dayton area, you are freshly in luck! For something steamy to conclude the perfect evening, porcelain in hand, something decadent and frostingy (that's a word.) to gab over with that BFF after work, this place has you covered. So delightfully convenient to get to, if you're on the run this one will have you caff'ed up and back on the freeway within minutes. If you want to sit and stay a while, while I think we've all seen better interiors, it's brand new and will do just fine. Absolutely wonderful people working there, they're so kind. The woman in front of me in line seemed to have a million and one complaints and problems but the employees handled everything with grace. Our order came our fantastic even though the store was busy as could be. They're also incredibly accepting and supportive of the LGTBQ+ community. They decorated the store with mini versions of just about every flag for pride month. It was a very welcoming environment and made me glad to see at least one store who seemed to genuinely support the community rather than simply rainbow-washing for a month simply to appear supportive and maintain profits. I was probably the most excited person in all of Englewood, Union, Clayton that we were getting this amazing business. While living in Columbus (westerville) there were two Starbucks on my way to work, both of which were friendly and clean. Matter of fact, I thought I'd never pay so much for Coffee but realized that Starbucks was a place similar to the old TV show "cheers" where they know your name, family and what's new at work. They'd ask me about myself and give me a perfect coffee. I thought this Starbucks would be just like those I had become accustomed to...... sadly no. The only time I was greeted with a smile was when the order was remade and the manager was standing waiting for me to return my coffees for the replacements. My drink did not have the extra espresso shots and and my husband coffee was 1/2 empty. Manager blamed me for the drink saying that's what I get when I ask for a froth on top? Anyways, while I know this is just one experience my other visits were never met with small talk and only 20% of the time will I get a smile from the person taking the order or making the drink. This locations is constantly out of items too. I don't think they realize that Starbucks began because of the service not necessarily for the overpriced coffee it served. Instead, I believe that they feel as though we're privileged that they show up to work to make us these coffees. I suppose I can't complain really since they're now helping me on my New Years goal of not spending so much because I can live without the half smiles and 1/2 cups of coffee and just stay with home brewed coffee vs paying that much for attitude and poor service. This is the rudest Starbucks that I've ever been in. I ordered a Venti frap, pay the asked price of $5.25, waited 25 minutes, asked where drink is, 5 more minutes go by, finally drink is presented to me ,BUT in the wrong size. I explain it is the wrong size, the barista says tells me it is what I ordered, I explain it is not, she then has the nerve to ask me for $0.50 to upsize it! Really, after waiting 30 min, to be told and treated this way blew me away. Looks like a brand new store, but it has issues. Bathroom was dirty. Ordered coffee then went to the condiments counter. Had not been restocked in a while. No Raw sugar. No cream. Two trash containers were overflowing. Counter was dirty with sugar and spilled milk. I took the cream carafe to the barista and asked for some half and half. She gave me a milk carton but then wanted to educate me on how to unscrew the lid on the carafe. Girl, this ain't my first cup of coffee. I did unscrew the lid. Duh! It's empty! And even if there were a couple of drops in the bottom, I didn't want old, warm cream!
