This is in the little strip mall in Dearborn near a lot of shops and restaurants. It's a nice size for a Starbucks and they have adequate seating. I've been here twice and both times there wasn't a wait. They already had their Halloween cups out and this was mid September. I got a green tea in my Michigan tumbler. Sometimes I get it with sugar and sometimes I don't, depending on my sugar intake for the day. On that day I asked for sugar in my green tea, but did not taste it at all. I like how they have their pickup system. When they call your name you just pick up your drink next to the letter of your name. read more

I used Uber eats to order as I am quarantining. Alongside my coffee I ordered a plain bagel + cream cheese and a sandwich. They were all out of the sandwich, so instead of substituting the sandwich for their hungry customer. I received a $4 gift card for my $4.25 sandwich, for the inconvenience. How considerate right? A 136 billion dollar corporation solving my issue with a gift card not equaling 20% of my money (taxes + fees + delivery charge + tip for driver). Not to mention all the fees I'll have to pay again for a new Uber eats order. To make matters worse, they forget to add the cream cheese to the order. So I'm literally stuck eating a plain bagel (with no cream cheese) and my coffee. So annoying! I usually never encounter issues with Starbucks, and I blame the manager at this location for inadequate training and lack of respect for consumer rights. Long wait for costly coffee that ended up in the trash. Not worth the time or money.

Here I go, reviewing another Starbucks, but this place is one of my favorites of the chain in the area. High ceilings, plenty of windows, and the most lovely decorations for the holidays. It's just so nice sitting here and looking at all the lights on the trees in the courtyard outside. In the summer the courtyard is lovely and adds some more desperately needed seating. It also had the added benefit of being the spot where one of my best friends and I meet to catch up at when he's in town so I've got the nostalgia factor goin' on here as well. :) The main drag is that the parking here SUCKS. The parking lot is always completely packed so street parking is in order. And all the street parking is metered which means you may have to interrupt a really good story over lattes to run back to the car and toss another quarter in. Annoying. Also, I'm not the only one who loves this spot it seems. It can get VERY crowded so seating can sometimes be difficult. I'm sure the other night I looked like a right creeper hovering around the place looking for a table but you've gotta be quick here or you'll end up standing around forever! read more

The staff is pretty friendly. The pumpkin spice latte was just average. I'm not sure I understand how I can get a different-tasting pumpkin spice latte at every single Starbucks - but it happens. It's a Starbucks! Pretty basic - you've been to one you've been to all of them. This place get's two stars due to inconsistent service. They are busy, but not crazy busy like the one I've been to on Main St. in A2 in the morning, but definitely busy. Parking can be a pain as the day goes on. I usually stop by between 7:40 - 8:20am on my way to work. I usually do not have a problem getting a spot around that timeframe. If you wait passed 8:30 however it gets really crowded in the parking lot. I really am irritated that I ordered a tall specialty drink and by the time I went to drink it in the office (perhaps 5 minutes from the store to my work) I realized it felt really light. Popping the lid open, I see that the tall cup (12 oz) is only filled halfway. And I paid full price! I even made eye contact with the lady who put whipped topping and placed the top on. Meaning she saw that there was only 6 oz of liquid in there, STILL put the whip on, topped it and handed it off. So she's either A) A moron, B) A jerk, or C) all of the above. An alternative is they don't know how to steam milk properly and put a crap ton of foam on there, but seeing as I ordered a specialty LATTE and this is also Starbucks and we all know they don't do real cappuccino's anyway, I'll also add to the list: D) Lazy. But again, it's a Starbucks and the ladies behind the counter were older and seemed new, so maybe they haven't been chewed out yet by customers who won't tolerate that. I did stop by again (I only got an iced coffee this time, since I had no faith in their ability to provide anything else) and they barely managed that. I don't know if it was the bad experience from before that left a bitter taste in my mouth or if they didn't know how to make iced coffee (a common issue) but it was also meh - very watery, probably didn't help they crammed as much ice in there as they could. I'll just go to the one on Outer Drive since they've been on top of their game every time I stop there (consistently good iced coffee, not too much ice, much busier than this one but fast!). This is my favorite Starbucks and for my mom as well. Fast friendly service but the parking is what gives me anxiety about this location. Especially if I'm in a hurry. When I'm not, I just drive behind the plaza and park in the parking structure. I placed a mobile order on my way to work, and when I got there my drink was waiting for me but my breakfast sandwich wasn't. I asked about it and they said it would be right out. I waited like 5-7 minutes, watching them bring out a number of other items. Asking again, they changed their tune saying they already had put the item out and someone must have taken it. They finally decided to remake the item, which took another 4-5 minutes. During this time, a man walked back in and set a bag with my name on it down on the counter and grabbed what I'm assuming was his correct order and left. But there's no way I'm taking a sandwich that was pawed at by a stranger, so I kept waiting for the remade sandwich. This place was poorly organized, just piles of online orders sitting on top of one another and a bunch of employees who can't communicate for shit apparently. My easy, online order now took over 20 minutes after it was all said and done. No apologies either, just the run around about a freaking bacon and Gouda breakfast sandwich.
