Cute Yemeni coffee shop. Haraz latte was delicious. They just opened about a week ago or so. The latte had honey in it even thought it wasn't listed on the shop menu but I did see online that it was supposed to be in it. They charge extra for honey but I wasn't charged. Might need clarification on that if it matters to you. The lady at the register has a soft voice so it was hard to hear her. There are 3 entrances, front back and side. If you go in from the side though be sure to watch your step. There was parking on the side. There is an outdoor area. read more

So happy I found this Yemeni coffee house in the heart of Dearborn!! Original branch of this chain coffee place that is rapidly expanding. Authentic Yemeni coffee and tea based drinks along with traditional coffee and espresso based drinks. Desserts as well. The environment is chill with a middle eastern motif and music. Their desserts here are well presented. We tried a Kunafah style dessert with rose syrup, however, it wasn't my thing. I did like the shabiyat with cheese, then again, who doesn't like Phyllo and cheese? It's just the right amount of cheese and sweetness, adding honey makes it too sweet for me. The next time I would like to try the Bee bite and the Biscoff cheesecake. I got to finally try a couple of their desserts and their Adeni Karan Chai tea. My colleagues had their Haraz coffee, which has the similar unique flavors for a coffee as is in their teas. Their Adeni Karan Chai tea is made with black tea, heavy cream and spices. I like coming to this coffee shop when visiting Detroit. It specializes in Yemen coffee and has baked goods that they make in-house. Came back for the pistachio iced latte & tried their Dubai cookie. I wanted the Dubai chocolate bar but they didn't have them in at the time. The shop is clean, has a cool wooden wall of a world map showing the evolution of coffee, something nice to look at while you wait. My latte was good, the pistachio sweetener was perfectly sweet and blended nice with coffee. The cookie was ok, it was a decent CC cookie with the pistachio Creme and crispy phyllo. I signed up for their rewards and was able to get $5 off when I ordered in the app. I wanted the 20oz coffee but that size wasn't available in the app, the cashier was nice enough to still make the 20oZ, much appreciated! I met a friend here last week and really liked it! I got a Harazi Mufawar Yemeni Style Coffee With Cream and Cardamom and loved it. I love when coffee/tea is really subtly sweet, and this is perfect. I'm not sure if they add sugar or not, it might just taste a little bit sweet from the cardamom. It was recommended that I go to this coffee spot in Dearborn. It serves coffee and pastries in a very well curated space with a nice product offering. I ordered a pot of the Yemeni tea that I had a cup of earlier at a different restaurant and thought it would be great to have a pot , sit back relax and read some articles. The staff there is so friendly and so approachable they were able to recommend what they offered and explain what was on the menu. Just as I received my pot of tea, it began to thunder and storm and downpour with heavy rain. If you ask me it made the tea taste better. I would definitely advise to go sit down, relax and have a cuppa, a pot , a latte, a pastry , or one of each on the menu at this aesthetically pleasing space. Not to mention the tea was wonderful. I loved the coffee. I'm not as used to the middle eastern flavors, so when they asked if I wanted sugar added, I definitely did. Service was pretty fast. There was a little bit of a wait to get the coffee but overall pretty standard wait time. The interior of the cafe was also beautiful. There are a number of tables for seating where you can just do work. There are also large windows so there's a lot of natural light. I have been wanting to visit Haraz Coffee House for a while and finally made the stop in. I loved the aesthetic and vibe of this place. The ambience of this place is so cozy and cute. Wonderful selection and great customer service. Tried their Adeni Tea, Rosemilk Cake, Honey Comb bread and Coffee. It was all delish! Adeni Tea is to die for. We are coffee lovers but enjoyed every sip of the tea. One of the best tea I've had in a long time. Rosemilk Cake was very smooth and had great flavor. Honeycomb bread was crisp & fresh. They have excellent pastries that are such a treat and the atmosphere can't be beat. Great visit and it was a lovely experience. I suggest to try their Rosemilk cake, it just melts. I have to say that customer service is a huge thing for me when going to any establishment, and this place does not disappoint. Since we are visiting from out of town, I wanted to try as many drinks as we could since I probably would only come a once during my trip. So I got 5 drinks to share among my husband and I, and our two kids, which were the adeni tea, haraz coffee, cappicino, hot chocolate and a mango smoothie . I have to say that I did not like the Arabic coffee and so I was able to switch it out no questions asked for another adeni tea, since i liked that one most. And that makes me a loyal customer for any time I come from out of town. I will make sure to come here. I will definitely come again for that reason alone. The caramel cheesecake was also delicious! I don't know what the other person was talking about about having about having too many Edison bulbs...there's no such thing as too many Edison bulbs! It completely made the esthetic and I thought that the place inside was so cute. I was more careful about it more careful about having a quiet conversation since it seems like most people over there we're working or studying and I did not want to disturb them, the only thing I can think that would make this place perfect as if they had a separate area for people who are working and for people who are having conversations so that we do not bother those who are only there to work. But I have no complaints for this place and wish them the best of luck and their business. I am happy to spend our money here. The interior is absolutely beautiful and I love that the wall throughout the entire space details the history of coffee across the world. Just so cool. I am a coffee connoisseur and I was so excited to come to Haraz and try them out! Let's dive right in! Coffee - I ordered an iced pistachio latte. It was absolutely delicious but the pistachio flavor wasn't really there. Redeeming qualities was the smoothness of the espresso and it was obviously gorgeous, just not a strong pistachio flavor. It was still one of the better ones I have had since it wasn't insanely sweet! I would order it again, hopefully it will have stronger pistachio next time! Food - I had to get the almond croissant, it was just so pretty! It definitely lived up to its looks - it was so so so so so yummy! It's messy but worth it! Soft on the inside, crisp on the outside, beautifully sweet but not sugary almond filling and topping - just perfect! Ambiance - The interior is beautiful and welcoming. Lots of space to work and very comfortable seating. It is on the colder end but still very comfortable. Restroom facilities are clean and stocked. Instrumental music mostly and not super loud! Service - This is my only downfall of being here but it's minor! They bring out your order to you (which is very nice!) and unfortunately they forgot my order. They were extremely apologetic and expeditious when I told them and I had it in no time! Even with this happening, their recovery was so good I would feel bad to take off stars for it. I'm constantly bouncing back and forth between which yemeni coffee chain is my favorite, but I will say that I think the interior aesthetic of this one and their desserts push it a little ahead for me. The bee bites are amazing and absolutely worth getting, iced latte is always very cardamom-y (I really like a lot of it in mine, so this is ideal for me). Today I realized one of two things. One: how much i love the adeni chai from @harazcoffeehouse and two: how amazing the iced blush is. The iced blush is an iced hibiscus tea drink. What's cool about it is that it's naturally sweetened with blueberries so you don't need any added sugar in it. Basically it's a healthy tea drink right ? I know I'll definitely be back for that. Honestly the best hibiscus I've ever tasted. The rose milk cake is made how i like it. Lightly whipped cream at the top followed by this beautiful pink base that's drenched in milk.
