Coffee is both not as good as, and more expensive than, a local place like Adelle's, but that's to be expected. Big advantage for me: you can pay in Bitcoin by buying a gift card through a service like eGifter or Gyft, then just use the barcode scanner. If you buy a gift card in advance (or even in line with eGifter), you'll spend less time at the register than with card or cash. I've been going to this location for years and have always experienced impeccable service.....until the last couple of months. From "Order Ahead" being shut off on the mobile app, to servers not listening and being served hot versions of a drink instead of iced or vice versa and most recently "Order Ahead" being shut off AND the lobby being locked due to "Staffing Issues". I know Starbucks offers excellent benefits and reasonable pay to employees to make their coffee so not being able to staff a Starbucks properly on a Saturday morning tells me A LOT about this generation of workers and a little bit about management. I truly hope this location turns the corner and returns to a place that enjoy getting my Saturday morning treat. Until then, I'll make the drive to Rochester! Showed up to Starbucks to pick up a doordash at 11:16 the manager wouldn't make it for me even though it was due to be ready at that time she said I had to wait till it was up in the queue she then continued to take orders from people that were there and making them. Why when I'm standing there is that not like the customer I'm picking up for it is standing there and she should make my order too I literally waited 20 minutes past the time to order was ready and she was still making other people's orders and ignoring mine! Absolutely terrible! This location has gone from bad to worst in the last year. I understand that covid has taken its toll on everyone but there's no reason why every single time I go here, there's at least 10-15 cars in the drive thru and the wait is 20-30 minutes. Tried doing mobile order and running inside to get it, nope, still going to wait an eternity for your drink. They're also constantly out of stuff. Friendliness of the staff is hit or miss, most of the time the workers just look stressed out and over it. Maybe it's time for new management? Your typical Starbucks - located very close to the Hampton Inn where we were staying. They have a Drive Thru - we I never use. Inside, there is a decent amount of seating. Ordered a Grande bold coffee with room for cream. Service was prompt and courteous. Staff was awesome. Good place to come and work for a bit. read more

I strongly dislike this Starbucks. Every single time I have gone to this one the wait is ridiculous. The drive thru line is extreme and the wait inside is just as bad. Don't bother placing a Mobil order beciase it either won't be ready or no one will make eye contact with you when you get there. Walking into this Starbucks got a Mobil order you'd think would be quick. NOPE. NO ONE WILL MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH YOU OR Aknowledge YOUR EXISTANCE!!!!!! It is infuriating. Each time I have been to this specific Starbucks in 2020 to current I have waited in line (both the drive through and inside) for a minimum of 10 minutes, usually longer. My Mobil order has not been ready when going inside, the staff looks visibly stressed out, they are out of specific items (usually something we ordered), and again there is one to acknowledge your presence beciase they all appear to be distressed. Today they were out of cold brew but didn't acknowledge this on their Mobil app - they subbed gross iced coffee instead. My fiancé ordered his usual beverage and his was also disgusting. They only had one of the two pastries we ordered. It was 9:30 in the morning. I have never had a good experience here and this was my last time. I did briefly behave like a Karen and was ashamed of myself. I was trying to not personalize my annoyance AT the poor kid who was the bearer of bad news as I imagine having to tell people they don't have what they ordered all day must suck. Please get better management or provide better training- the Starbucks on Woodbury Ave in Portsmouth has always been phenomenal and they deserve an award for their customer service! read more

This Starbucks location at Week's Crossing is a convenient place for myself and my coworker to stop for coffee & tea breaks during our field visits in the area. My older coworker always makes a beeline to the restroom in the back before ordering his hot tea. The staff here is friendly and they converse with their customers. The coffee brewed here (Pike and Dark Roast) is what I'd get at a typical Starbucks. There is table seating towards the front of the store area where we can sit and chillax while sipping our drinks and using the free wifi. Sometimes the place is busy (late morning) and every table in the store may be occupied. Back to the truck! read more

I went with my friends to the dover starbucks and went through the drive through. When first pulled up to the drive through the voice in the intercom told us to wait for a moment. We then proceeded to wait for around 5 minutes, during that time we were chatting with each other and laughing. When the voice over the intercom said they were ready to take our order, the person ordering was laughing as she was ordering. Yet every time my friend would start to order something the woman would cut her off and not let her finish any of her sentences. Once my friend finished ordering we moved to the second window where we had to wait another 5 minutes to get our food. Then a male barista with red hair and a beanie gave us our drinks and food and then said to us "do you want to know a secret? we can hear everything you said. I hope you had fun." This comment made us all feel extremely uncomfortable. We felt uncomfortable in the fact that they were listening to our conversations and then felt the need to comment about them. This location is extremely busy for the size. The staff are efficient and as quick as they can be handling the volume of customers they do daily. This store has constant traffic. I definitely recommend ordering ahead. This location is so busy even mobile order is slowing up andhave longer wait times. It has nothing to do with the staff though. I went to the target Starbucks and I asked for a hot chestnut prailene latte. I couldn't try it right away because it was hot, so i left the store and when I tried it later it was just a hot coffee, not a latte. I went to this Starbucks afterwords looking to get it fixed. I waited 30 minutes in a line that you don't even have the option to get out of. Then they tell me I have to drive back ti the other location if I want it fixed. I ended up just paying for another because I didn't want ti spend an hour on one coffee that should have been a simple fix. They deserve 1 star. We just waited in line for 20 minutes in drive thru to be told they closed early. (3pm it was 3:05) because of staffing issues. I understand it's hard to stay open with limited staff however... the manager on duty that made the call should have come out and told everyone in line. Instead they let everyone wait until they got to the window. There's a line to the road. When I called I was told their managers instructed them not to put a sign up!? Love my Starbucks! My pugs love it when Tina is working since she usually gives them little treats. They are usually very quick my order and its usually correct. If it's not they redo it pretty quickly. When Tina is working I know it will always be right and made with a little extra love.
