The Shack Up on the right.

Excuse my English. My grandfather was nothing more than a humble coffee bean farmer, as was his father. He spent his whole life growing the best coffee beans that Colombia has ever tasted. When he passed away, my father took over the business. The coffee was in my blood and I did what I could to help him. I had prepared to make the place when I was of legal age, but my father had other plans for me. He took the money he saved to send me to the University in the United States. I couldn't afford to come back to visit, so I spent my free time working to pay for school and studying hard to get my law degree. When I finally got my first job after graduating. I took my first paycheck to return it to him. He was older than I remembered and he had sold the business by then, but he was still him. And he still smelled like our family, like us, like coffee. The aroma of rise & grind given to my heart reminded me of him. The smell brought me back to my childhood home and to the large number of memories that accompanied me. The coffee had a boisterous flavor reminiscent of the powerful beans we used to prepare. I got a black coffee with sugar on the side and the taste alone was phenomenal. That's where the review would end if I didn't get the "Shack Up". ¡Asombroso!. Oh my God, that was an incredible sandwich. The flavor combinations were complementary to each other and work perfectly together. It was a very necessary addition to the order and I will order it again. In general, Rise & Grind was a truly revolutionary breakfast experience that I will enjoy again. If I could, I would leave 10 stars.

As a UNH student I recommend rise and grind as one of the best coffee shops by campus! Every time I go I try a new flavor in my iced coffee and am never disappointed in how good it tastes! I recommend trying the jelly donut flavor shot for something fun and different. Their bagels are pretty good but their unique cream cheeses make them great - I got the brown sugar swirl cream cheese. Also, love the decoration of the place

I love this place! Their coffee is absolutely great and their breakfast sandwiches are amazing! Their pigs in a blanket sandwich was so good and I loved their s'mores coffee so much! Also, the inside is such a cute space to sit and relax or do some work!

The staff were efficient and friendly, and everything came out fresh. Congdon's has a really nice variety of donuts, muffins, and other baked goods, and everything we tried was delicious. The blueberry fritter was the star crisp on the outside, soft inside, and packed with blueberry flavor. I would absolutely recommend it. They also offer a sit‑down breakfast with classic options like breakfast sandwiches and French toast, so it's a good spot whether you just want coffee and a box of donuts or a full morning meal. Overall, great service, excellent donuts, and definitely worth the short wait. We'll be back next time we're in the area!

They have long lines that move very quickly, lots of self-seating available indoors and outdoors, and a very cute patio area and some photo-ops. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered a half dozen donuts to try: the maple glazed, chocolate glazed, strawberry frosted, chocolate creme filled, glazed, and a blueberry fritter. The fritter was the favorite of the group, followed by the maple (iconic Maine flavors!) We would definitely skip the chocolate and the strawberry frosted next time and opt to try some other fritter flavors.

My daughter had been here a few times and loved picking up fresh produce during the season. Is there a better time to stop then on a cold, wintery, snowy, Thursday afternoon? We were so happy that we did. This is going to be a must stop for us on all our future pickups and drop-offs with our daughter. We love the charm and appeal of the main store. Knowing it was the off season, their stock of fresh produce wasn't as abundant ( my daughter's word) as it normally was. However, if you want jams, jellies, syrups, chips, pretzels, fresh eggs, varieties of pasta, beauty care products, and coffees, this is your place. They have a nice selection of fresh prepared food options to go like sandwiches, noodles, and soups. Plenty of healthy and organic choices. The prices were very reasonable considering I'm from New Jersey, especially the maple syrup. We noticed there was a nice outdoor patio with tables where customers could relax and enjoy a coffee, dessert, or a food item of their choice in better weather. The staff was very friendly and warm. Plenty of free parking. We can't wait to go back when the weather is better and the fresh produce options are ABUNDANT!
