It's supposed to be a nice layer of green and then a separate layer of purple (the foam), but as you can see from my pic, it was all blended when I picked up my drink only minutes after ordering. I've been to this Starbucks twice and both times my experience was easy peasy. While parking can be a bit tricky, it is out there. Check behind the shop or across the street! Once inside, the hustle and bustle of old Dublin disappears and the space is rather comfortable. The first thing you see in the menu and baristas and you know you're in your happy place. The staff is friendly and while usually very busy, they will get your drink out to you as soon as possible. The cafe area is pretty big with a lot of tables to lounge at. I noticed plenty of outlets during my stays as well. The bathrooms are also kept clean, which is always a plus. While I don't live anywhere near here and don't come often, it is my go-to Starbucks if I'm in the area, especially if I need to get some work done. read more

As per the Starbucks business model, they did just fine. They really are all kind of alike , have you noticed? This one is located in historic Dublin, Ohio. I went in to use the restroom and ordered two peach teas off of my Starbucks app. I didn't hear my name announced but I'm sure they did, I was just spacing out taking Yelp pictures. One small thing.... Supervisors... if you have to inform your employees if something , do it individually or when there aren't customers. I got to hear some buckshot discipline. You know how it is .... The boss tells all the people what's wrong when it was probably not the whole crew. I got to hear about nonr of them having their name tags on when higher ups came to the location. Maybe that why they didn't call my name for the teas ? This Starbucks is located in the historic Dublin area. It has a nice set-up with both inside seating and a nice little patio with tables and chairs outside. There is a good shelf display set up of various products between some of the interior seating and the drink area. Parking is available in the nearby public lots and garages around historic Dublin. We had popped in as part of an area scavenger hunt, and the staff was good with the kids and gave them small hot chocolates with whipped cream once they found the hidden item, which was really nice (and delicious!) read more

I actually waited several days to "calm down" before writing this. On Friday evening, my boyfriend and I received the most appalling treatment I have ever experienced from ANY employee at ANY establishment. We stopped in this Starbucks when we first arrived to Dublin before walking around. After leaving dinner, we realized that my boyfriend had left his keys in the restroom. We saw the light was still on with 2 employees inside and we rushed over. After tapping on the window (knowing they were closed) - the female employee with red hair, who looked like she was complaining to the other employee - looked at us, then looked back at him & continued the conversation. We both tapped the window again & she looks at us & mouthed "We're closed" while taking her hand and swiping it across her neck repeatedly. She then turned back to him and we could SEE her mouth "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME". She continued to ignore us, then REPEATED the gesture back at the window with an AWFUL expression on her face. Like we had just spit on her shoes. Both of us were signaling with our hands "keys" and mouthing it, before the male employee walked over to her and asked for the keys, which she THREW over the counter to him. He was extremely polite and apologized. I left absolutely shaking at the treatment that we had just received. I have worked in a restaurant, I have had customers leave things & come back for them after we had closed but were cleaning... This treatment was absolutely MIND BLOWING. The fact that we could see her say "are you fucking kidding me" then repeatedly make the hand gesture mouthing "we're closed". I am still honestly in shock. This woman should not have a job where she has anything to do with customers. Especially an establishment like Starbucks, where customer service is everything. There was another group of customers outside that saw the whole thing and were also disgusted. Again, it was the female closing the store on Friday night with red hair. I come to this location quite often. Today Sunday evening around 6:30-6-45 Sep 10, made me decide that I will not EVER step foot in this store or spend another dollar there. As a frequent customer I walked out extremely perturbed by the treatment I received. First problem was that I asked to split my tender to use two forms of payment cash and card. The blonde barista told me it wasn't possible to do that. I politely asked if they could try again so we can pay this way. She said a second time with a less than acceptable tone that she would have to ring the order up in a different way and that now she can't do that. I replied confused with an Okay can I pay with a $50 because that's the only other bill I had. Her reply then was that she didn't know if she could make change for it and wouldn't know until she opened the drawer after cashing out my order. Another employee who I assumed to be the manager, a woman with red hair, walks past the barista says can you help, I began to state that I just wanted my tender split and she proceeded to raise both her hand in the air AND her voice saying HOLD ON. Then proceeded completely ignore me the remainder of the time I was standing there. I have never had an experience like this at any Starbucks ever and do not appreciate having to be forced to put up with it now. To the manager/employee with the red hair, it does not seem that your calling is customer service and you should maybe reevaluate your career choice because reading other reviews for this location, this is not the first time and I am not standing alone. Nice little Starbucks on Bridge on Old Dublin .. stopped in after movie on Saturday night.. very chill environment , not as crowded as Starbucks on Sawmill, Bethel or Henderson , no drive thru..public parking is shared with other businesses in Old Dub Dub Pub, Jenni's etc.. ordered Chail Latte and girlfriend ordered Dark Roast with shot of Sugar Free Cinnamon Dolche...sat and enjoyed drinks with others who were on laptops , surfing on their computers .. great vibe and place to hang on Saturday night .. bonus this Starbucks open @ 530 which I believe is earlier than other Starbucks, if your an early person or get out the door early for work check out the Starbuck's in Old Dublin on bridge .. great place with great customer service .. read more

Embarrassing mistake! Somehow I posted a review meant for the Hilliard Starbucks here on the Dublin one. And no one seemed to notice. I guess it doesn't matter, except for staffing, they are all basically the same. (I deleated it and will put it at its rightful home.) But this one has some small differences, cosmetic ones, and since I never hesitate to judge a book by its cover I will say this is my fav Starbucks in town. 1.) It has a breezy sidewalk patio nice for relaxed Sunday mornings, newspapers, and chilling out. Cosmopolitain in its appearance on 161, its umbrella shaded seating give the suburb an advantage over other stores of the chain. 2.) Plenty of parking in the back where Dublins public lot is. 3.) The dining room is lower than the serving area and behind a wall. This helps keep noise levels down. 4) No drive-thru so the staff is focused on you not into there mouthpiece. One gripe: can fill with students once school lets out. read more

The baristas at this location socialize with each other more than they make drinks. While all very friendly, everyone seems poorly trained and has no sense of direction when it comes to what task is next and how to expedite a line. Last week it took me over 15 minutes to get a venti cold brew when I had walked directly to the front of the line to order. Today was the same thing though it only took 8 minutes since there was a single Frappuccino in the queue ahead of me. I guess that's improvement. Quality of the drinks are relatively consistent so that's why it's not a one star review. Just wish they could do better. The decline in service has really been in the past 6 months or so. read more

There are many Starbucks locations in Columbus that I order coffee from based on the consistency of drink, the speed of service, the location, the friendliness of the staff, and the overall efficiency of the large chain. My favorites: Tuttle Mall location, Bexley location, Easton outdoor, Drive-Thru on Bethel Rd. and the Westerville Rd. Starbucks. I've visited the Dublin location many times, and while the coffee taste isn't completely out of sync with my favorite locations, drinks do not measure up in quality or consistency. Additionally, the location doesn't seem purposeful for the Historic Dublin district's communal development, and this Starbucks seems to cast shadows on many of the eclectic, independent businesses in the area. In my opinion, the small-town feel is muddled by the large-chain presence, and after talking to many local business owners that also serve quality beverages, it seems that my discernment holds true. Many independent businesses feel intimidated by the Starbucks on Bridge Street, and struggle to attract attention to their shop because of the large chain hype. Additionally, I noticed that the Starbucks on Bridge does not support Dublin's culture in the same way the small business do. Starbucks does not support local arts, offer SBB discounts, put on causes for underprivileged groups, or promote complementing small businesses services in the area. They don't even have a community bulletin board. In this way, I would rather support Dublin's culture, the small coffee/tea shops in Historic Dublin, as opposed to the Starbucks on Bridge. read more

I do appreciate that when I'm traveling I know I can find a Starbucks and get a pretty good cup of Joe. They are consistent, I know what I want and it always tastes the same. This time of each they brew the Christmas blend which is my personal favorite of the whole year. I wanted it a little sweet so I asked the friendly barista which flavored syrup she suggest. She said the Cinnamon Dulce and promised if I didn't like it she'd make me something else. Well I loved it! I think this will be my go to coffee for as long as they brew the Christmas blend. This location had a whole room filled with coaches, tables and chairs. There's was a good amount of seating. The service was friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't love here was that it was difficult to get in and out of this location. The store layout was also a bit awkward to walk through a bunch of tables and chairs to get to the door which was also crowded. To get in here to park, take a Right at High St. Then take your next right and there's a parking lot for all those street front shops. There's a side entrance to Starbucks, so you don't have to walk around to the front. Overall the friendly barista and her great suggestion would bring me back here if I ever find myself in this area of town again. (Columbus is my second home). read more

For all their efforts to maintain a uniform corporate structure, you can't get around the fact that some Starbucks are better than others. It depends heavily on the baristas, who can either be pretentious jerks or friendly helpers. The staff here is the latter - they're happy, quick, courteous, and not weird. So I'm pretty sure it's anti-Yelp to review something as quintessential "evil corporate chain" as Starbucks. Well, too freaking bad. The staff here are even more friendly and fun than the other Starbucks in the area. Only gripes are it's always too damned cold (but coming from Phoenix anything below 60 is "freezing" to me) and the wifi (both T-Mobile and ATT are available) isn't free. Other than that, great place to study and an even greater place to procrastinate studying by playing with all the neighborhood pups. read more

A very abrasive employee told us we all had to leave at 9:00 PM, posted hours for this store say it's open till 10 PM. The same employee resisted when I asked for a Venti dark roast, telling me it was not available. Only after I persisted and asked for a pour over did they give me what I wanted. I'm not going to rate the coffee - that would be ridiculous. It's Starbucks... the coffee is the same wherever you go. What I'll say about this place is that it has enough space to do some work, hang out, read a book, and it even has a patio outside with 4 tables to sit at. It can get a little loud outside with the cars going by, but still, it's nice to be able to sit outside at a Starbucks, which is pretty rare. Finally, I'll just add that the service is great. The staff they hire here are better than any SBUX I've ever been to. Always warm welcomes, people remember you, and you never find a staff member in a bad mood. read more

First, a disclaimer: I'm former management in the Starbucks company, so I have higher standards as Starbucks go. (Sometimes makes it harder to enjoy the experience when you know how the proverbial "sausage is made.") The Starbucks in historic Dublin is fine, but there are way better shops within a few-minute drive. The drink preparation is fine, but SLOW. *So* slow. And I have been here probably 15-25 times, so it's not really the case of one barista having an off-day. I've had more than one experience where I either had to wait for a super long time (in Starbucks terms) for the barista who was drudging through drinks at a snail's pace, one beverage at a time; or I ordered something made a specific way, only to be told that was the "wrong way to make" it in a weird, smiley, passive aggressive way. No thanks. Environment-wise, I'm not crazy about this location either. Starbucks should always feel like the "third place:" meaning, you have home, you have work, and you have Starbucks. It should be inviting and low key, and a place where you feel like you can kick back, do work, read, chat, normal coffee shop stuff. This location is tiny, busy/loud, and laid out in an awkward format. If you're fortunate enough to find someplace to sit, you have to push your way back through the line to get there, and even then you always feel some pressure to leave pretty soon because someone else will want the table. It's not relaxing, and I've never felt like it's a place where I can kick back and do coffee shop-type things. If you absolutely need a Starbucks fix, or if you work in the immediate area, this location is fine. If you have time, or have a choice, you're better off heading for the nearby Sawmill location. I've found the staff there to be far more low-key and approachable, the baristas are up to par, and the seating situation is much better. read more

Only one problem, where do you park? there is little to no parking! it took me quite some time to park which isn't that great for people coming in before their work day. This starbucks is THE BEST. The baristas have great energy on a consistent basis. They care about knowing their customers and making visits fun. I go to starbucks everywhere, but I'll go out of my way to go to this one. They never mess up a drink and are super fast, even when training someone. I read other reviews and disagree the layout is bad. There are a few peak times it is busy but I just hang out a few minutes and get a spot no problem. Most of the time just walking in to take a seat is not an issue. Parking can be rough in certain times if you need VIP parking, but if you can walk a few yards you will get in anytime.
