Fox in the Snow never disappoints! I'm no longer local to this cafe, so I definitely stop in when I'm in town. It's super busy on Saturday mornings, but mid morning during the week, there's short lines and your choice of tables. Several people had laptops too, so it's quiet enough for that as well! Their pastries are what bring me here, the coffee brings a lot of others. Their blueberry galette is delicious - large flaky pastry, ripe blueberries, with a delicate sweet cheese filling. My friends go to is the Biscuits & Jam or the Ham & Swiss. I picked up an Everything Danish to go home - like an everything croissant with an herbed cream cheese - so good!! We went to the Westerville location after trying the German Village location a couple years ago. Sadly, I would not return and honestly may not support this brand again. Our last visit we were blown away at how fresh and well baked everything was. Even the oatmeal was smooth and creamy. The servers were also so happy to help us select items and tell us about the products. This time, we were an afterthought and seemed liked a nuisance for not knowing what we wanted. I felt like the pastry selection was small compared to the location we went to before. The breakfast sandwich was really thrown together- the last time it was warm and cohesive with a good amount of sauce and the eggs were so fluffy and light. This time very rubbery. The croissant I had was raw/doughy although well flavored. Oatmeal was one big clump versus smooth and velvety. The strawberry matcha was super sweet with almost no "matcha" layer. Our cinnamon roll was over baked with no delicious gooey bits. The ambiance is warm and cozy with the warm wooden undertones in the decor. Just perfect when you're looking for something cozy in the cold blustery winter months! The café latte I chose was smooth, creamy, and delicious. The pastries were delicious; the morning bun with the unctuous chocolate (ganache?) filling in the core perfectly complimenting both the richness of the coffee, and the croissant-like soft and flaky texture of the bun itself. Being merely a stone's throw away from the fancy pedestrian bridge on the river, you can do worse than to take a walk after the munch session, or take your coffee (or hot chocolate) with you as you sip and enjoy the view from the bridge in the breeze. read more

Always busy and bustling on a weekend morning but worth the wait, we had to stop by for the new lemon morning buns and they were as delicious as we could've imagined. Love fox in the snow!! we came on a Thursday around lunch time and it was more crowded than I expected, but tables opened up pretty quickly so we didn't have to wait long. The staff were super friendly and patient. My matcha latte was perfect with just the right amount of sweetness and matcha flavor. The egg breakfast sandwich was yummy and the banana bread was moist. [Historic Dublin] Overall very good. The really good: The food. Super tasty. We had the ham and swiss croissant, egg sandwich, iced coffee and black tea. Everything was great. The ham was a bit salty but still really good, and buttery and cheesy. Ditto on the egg sandwich - Souffled Egg is a nice touch. The 'wish it was better' - Around 8:45A was told the Ham Baguette Sandwich would not be available until 9:00. Kinda thinking everything on the menu should be available all the time at a breakfast spot. Was also told they couldn't warm up my room temperature Ham & Swiss Croissant. Fox in the snow isn't bad but my latest experience wasn't great either. The staff was very kind and attentive in taking my order but that was about it. I ordered a ham & Swiss croissant and apparently they don't warm up their pastries which honestly kinda sucks. It's a bit unappetizing to bite into a room temp/cold pastry that you would expect to be warm. I will say the banana bread is good but the croissant and my coffee fell flat; I've had better elsewhere. This location is definitely built more for grabbing a bite with friends than trying to get work done. There's a lack of outlets and NO WIFI! I was pretty shocked when I realized since so many people online recommended this location to get work done but there's no way to get connected or even charge your devices. If you want a fun casual time with friends this could be a good spot but to get work done I would not recommend at all. Luckily the Dublin library is down the street. read more

This is my favorite cafe to go to in Dublin. The baked goods are insane and they have so many options! The cafe is pretty big so plenty of room to grab a cup of coffee, a treat, and go do some work. Fox in the Snow has become my go to coffee shop! They have my FAVORITE iced latte, pastries, and breakfast sandwich. I've even started buying their beans for when I make coffee at home. They are usually fairly busy (for good reason) but the line always moves fairly quickly, the staff is always nice, and I can almost always find an open table. It looks like they make all their pastries in the back and my favorite is the everything danish (special shout out to the cinnamon roll, blueberry galette, and strawberry diamond). They also have the BEST sandwich with thick bacon, a souffled egg, arugula, some type of aioli, and delicious fresh bread. To drink I almost always get a latte (hot or iced) with vanilla and oatmilk but have also had the matcha which was delicious as well. My only complaint is that vanilla is the only flavor they have and sometimes I'd like to change it up a little, but the vanilla is so good I can't even be mad. 10/10 love this place and will be back soon! read more

Only wish the jam was on the side because I loved the biscuit alone! It was flaky and light yet buttery with a crisp sweet top coating! But I am a sucker for biscuits! It's a biscuit that combined with a pig ear pastry! Long line that does go by very quickly and efficiently. Not my favorite lattes. The matcha comes pre sweetened which was not my favorite. Apparently this is a new location of a really popular coffee shop in the area. The design of the shop is lacking, especially considered they already knew it was a high demand place when they designed the second one. It takes very few customers for the line to be at the door and blocking said door from customers leaving. It also makes it hard to determine where the line is when you enter the same door when people in line try not to block it. They had a matcha which made me happy, as well as alt milks. The parking is super limited, and based on high demand that makes it pretty tricky. Hopefully they'll find a new location that better works for their and their customers needs. read more

Best smoothest latte I've ever had! I went here every day of my 3 day conference. I had a blueberry danish the last day and it was also delicious! I went in on a Wednesday morning. The space has very large windows and the sun shining through in the dining area makes it cozy. I ordered an egg sandwich, tomato tart and an iced tea. The egg sandwich was good. I don't think it knocked my socks off like some other reviews. But it had a soft warm bread, egg soufflé, arugula, cheese, bacon and some sort of sauce i really liked. Maybe an aioli. I didn't love that i felt the bacon was soggy. I wanted to sample the tomato tart and although i don't super love flaky doughs, i felt the tomato portion of it was very good and would order again. I am so grateful my in laws were in town this weekend. I would have never thought I would get to finally try this place I've bookmarked for forever. Having a child changes your life and you can barely check out all the cool places like this one. So thankful I got to try this place and I was for sure they'd be packed on Easter Sunday but it wasn't that bad. The service was great. I was told if want fresh baked goods, you need to be there no later than five minutes before it opens. I was third in line, the rest of the people wrapped around the front of the building and around to the back. Once I got in the door, my order was soon taken, and then I stepped aside to wait. I watched people rushed to the counter when their name was called. Get their order and leave. From a glitch in a system to the best employee in the shop. I I found out after 30 minutes awaiting. My order was lost. I walked up and asked if my order was ready for pick yet and that's when she realized I never received my order. They looked at my receipt and proceeded to get my order ready. She turned around to bump into another worker and the whole order dropped to the floor. With a heavy sigh, she made up another box and handed it to me with a huge embarrassment and said it was on the house. They refunded my order and with an apology to me for waiting so long. Since then the service has been absolutely amazing. I've been back numerous times. read more

This location is terrible. There is little to no seating and it is small. They get the food out to you quickly and then do not help when there are multiple people lingering. I ordered to eat in today and there wasn't even a single seat for me. Two seats unoccupied with laptops just sitting there. Supposedly workers. This is also not a Wi-Fi or working location however there are people with computers, taking up all kinds of space. I love fox in the snow, but this location has been extremely frustrating on the various times I have been there. Every single time I go I wonder why I go back. Really glad too see that Fox in the Snow is in Dublin! The other locations are far to get to if you don't live near downtown. I came around 2:30 on a Tuesday and it was almost empty. They close at 3. There were still a handful of people sitting inside. I came in to get a drip coffee. No baked goods for me that day. Staff was nice. They were cleaning up and putting things away. They have a parking lot in front but it's tiny. They also have a larger parking lot at the back that shares with J Liu's. But I had no idea what the parking was like so I parked at the library and walked over. I'll be back! read more

This place is pretty incredible and obviously well loved by the locals. This place was packed, but the line moved quick. The assortment of house-made pastries were both beautiful and delicious. The everything danish was like the love child of an everything bagel and a croissant! If you like cinnamon rolls, the monstrosity they serve here would probably suit your fancy. It was a little too intense for me as it was filled with what appeared to be candied brown sugar. But I see the appeal. We tried a couple of other pastries that were also incredibly All the other reviews were talking about the breakfast sandwich so of course I tried one. It was pretty amazing. I'm not particularly a fan of mustard. But they added just a hint of mustard so it actually added an unexpected tanginess which added to the deliciousness! I also ordered a mocha which I must admit I was less impressed by. The drink itself was not quite chocolatey enough for my taste. But at least it was not overly sweet which I always appreciate. The cup was not all the way full though and that never feels good. The roast of the beans tasted a little on the burnt side to me. I know that is a taste some roasters go for. I'm not fond of it myself though. On the other hand, the chai latte was delicious! I absolutely recommend Fox in the Snow and if I'm ever passing through Ohio again, I will be sure to stop here for breakfast. read more

We tried the egg sandwich and ham cheese sandwich! Egg sandwich is $10 but so worth it. The egg is soufflé like and very yummy. The ham cheese baguette has a thin layer of butter and delicious. New place in Dublin that I've heard good things about. Attempted to swing by around 11am on a Saturday and the line was out the door. It's not a large place but I still didn't feel a coffee shop is worth that type of line. Tried again around 2pm and we were able to park and walk inside. Pretty tight parking but there's more spaces in the back. Walking in you'll see some cute merch and then you can check out their menu and pastries. Everything looked great and we were greeted pretty quickly and were able to place our order right away. Ordered sugar-free vanilla lattes, a chocolate chip cookie, slice of banana bread, and what looked like a strawberry and cheese danish. The coffees were quite delicious, but they weren't very hot and they only had one size. The latte art was super cute though and I liked their little logo on everything. The pastries that we bought were all very yummy so I do recommend and look forward to coming back and trying out their sandwiches! You order, they make it or hand it to you. Simple, right? I mean, I'd LOVE to knock a star off because they said they'd make their Icarus Sandwiches at their locations, and I haven't seen them yet. But the food they do have is so damn good I can't. But if they bring back Icarus sandwiches, man, it'd be six stars, because they would corner breakfast and lunch for me. Get: blueberry galette, chocolate chip cookie, egg sandwich, and New Orleans coffee (other items may be great but that's I've had so far) Avoid: coming at peak morning breakfast time on weekends (line moves fast but seating limited at that time) Parking: parking in lot in front of cafe and in large lot behind cafe I absolutely love this cafe and went twice in one month! The egg sandwich is also amazing - all the ingredients taste fresh and the bread is very soft and has a wonderful flavor. I absolutely love the New Orleans coffee -I added vanilla to mine and really enjoyed it! The seating can be limited on weekend mornings, and I would not say the seating is good for groups.
