Staff used to be friendly and got to know the regulars, not sure what happened but the staff now is rude and constantly interrupts you when ordering, I just went thru the drive thru for the last time here, Dee was absolutely the worst cashier I have ever dealt with she yelled at me thru the order screen then again at the drive thru window I will never go here again and if you all are smart neither will you! read more

This location is definitely hit or miss. I have been to this location countless times because it is super close to my house and the drive through is a plus. For the most part, I don't have an issue with their speed. Maybe two or three times out of the tons of visits, they have been unreasonably slow. The staff isn't bad, they are pretty friendly. My main issue with this location is that often times my drinks don't taste the way they're supposed to. More times than not my drink tastes more on the bad side but I have had drinks that taste really good here too.. like I said, it's hit or miss. Being in the drive through you can't tell who it is that makes your drink well and who doesn't so it's a risk you take. Everybody knows that Starbucks is known for its coffee but recently I tried their wheat spinach fold over and abosolutly loved it! My tastebuds will never be the same after tasting such a warm spinach dip inside a crisp fold over bread. Besides if your not into spinach they have it in a bacon ham and cheese version that looked great or many other scrumcous looking items! The coffee of course is amazing as well if your a person who likes to keep to their basics so either way Starbucks is always a recommended option of choice for a nice sit down or to go! read more

I keep coming to this Starbucks In dumfries cause one the ppl who was working there was really sweet knew my name my drink order now n this is the second time my drink was fuked up and my bread was cold asf. I come every morning mostly once mybe twice a day sometimes and I was gettin horrible service at the one in Woodbridge but now y'all messing up so I'm like dam where do I go now cuz y'all was my fav Starbucks but third time the charm right think that's y I haven't been by cuz every time now something is always messed up green tea no lemonade not even sweetened my hot chocolate had coffee in it n I don't even like coffee n the ppl who worked there before knew that I never had a messed up drink til now n I been goin there st8 for the last 2 years. I've been on the fence about it, but today solidified my dislike for this location. They consistently take forever, and I can't seem to figure out why. The staff are not very friendly nor do they seem to get how the store should be run. The drive-thru is off the chain crazy and always long, but they still seem to get their drinks out before those of us who actually go into the store. Even if there are only a couple of customers in the store it can take over 10-15 minutes to get a drink. Today they screwed up my order and the staff did not seem to understand or care, which left me incensed. As I was waiting for my drink I realized that customers who had come in after me were receiving their drinks ahead of mine. When I peaked at the bar, my cup was not there. When I asked the barista about my drink, and told her what was going on, she looked puzzled and mumbled something. She then looked behind her and said that they were making my drink at the other machine. I asked her why, and she again looked puzzled and mumbled without giving me an answer. There was absolutely no reason why my drink, an iced Americano (espresso shots and water, very simple), should have been taken out of line or should have taken long to make. When my drink was handed to me, it was not the original cup with my specific order on the side. It wasn't until I left and was on my up 95N that I realized the drink didn't taste quite right, and I'm 99.9% sure they gave me decaf instead of half caf. I worked for Starbucks for many years, so I have high expectations when it comes to their staff and drink quality. It's extremely frustrating that this is the only Starbucks around 234 (I know there is another store at Minnieville and Dale, but that is not convenient along 234 or when going to 95), and that it has to be so consistently crappy. Maybe they get away with it because they're the closest to Montclair, and if people want their coffee they will come in there no matter what. Not for me any longer - I've made the decision to either go out of my way to get to another store or to try the Starbucks inside the Target. I really hope that the store management reads these reviews and decides to make positive changes at this location. For a physical location as good as this one and so close to good neighborhoods, this store is really sub-par. I wish they would actually care and do something about it. read more

I go because it's the only one near me that has a drive-thru but you seriously might as well go in because they are so sloooooow. Where else can you get an overprice latte in 20-25 minutes? Probably anywhere, including your own home. read more

I've been to this Starbucks many times and I've never had a bad experience. They have a nice wooden table in the center for work space as well as a long wooden bench with multiple outlets. Their outdoor seating area is nice as well. Coffee is always good and baristas are friendly. read more

This is the worst starbucks in the area. They are ridiculously slow. This morning I decided to give them one more chance and skipped the long drive through wait and went inside. There was no line and I still waited 20 minutes for my drink! My drink was also not iced like I requested. So they made me wait 20 minutes and still got my order wrong. Worst starbucks ever! High turn over rate, drive through is so slow peoples cars back up onto the road which could cause an accident. Coffee quality varies. Many times I have to doctor up my drink when I get home, now I just make my own caramel macchiatos and avoid starbucks. This morning however I thought I'd order a bacon breakfast sandwich....
