I Love love this Starbucks Location!!! All the staff here are super friendly and excited to see you when you come in! It gets SUPER Busy here sometimes and the employees hardly break a sweat. They try their best & if they don't get it right they are happy to try again. One of my go to summer drinks is the new nitros and cold brews. There are also new teas and Frappuccinos that are a great afternoon treat! I am always super excited to step into this Starbucks location because I know I will be welcomed and greeted by some of the nicest baristas! I can tell they try their very best every day and that makes me so happy to see! Conveniently located right across from campus this location is perfect to drop in any time I will say parking can be a little bit difficult but if you are in the area id stop in! read more

I've been to this Starbucks few times and today's visit was the worst.... There was one cashier working, one barista and one guy cleaning he floor behind the cashier... the line was long and the cashier was taking orders, making the coffee, etc., while the barista was more busy talking with her friend on the side then making coffee... Okay, I was there at lunch time and I can understand that it can get busy... but that wasn't the reason why I'm giving two stars.... even when busy, the employees should be busy and not slow things down... funny part... after I got my coffee, it seemed like more employee's arrived.... Normally, I am not a big fan of coffee or Starbucks. However, this Starbucks is one of the best Starbucks I've ever seen. I fell in love with the interior the moment I walked in. I know what most of you guys are thinking, "It's just a freaking Starbucks." I know, I know, but most of the Starbucks around my school/house are janky as pho. This Starbucks has the state of Michigan pins on the wall. How cool is that? The reason why my friends and I stopped by this Starbucks was because we were on a road trip and they wanted to check out the school campus across the street. Also, one of my other friends wanted a Michigan Starbucks mug. This Starbucks is spacious/plenty of tables. Perfect for studying or chatting with friends. This Starbucks does not have a lot, so street parking which can be a problem at time. read more

Pros: This Starbucks is the best on campus, it's also the largest sized Starbucks in town. There are well over 60 places to sit and study. The baristas seem to care about their work and it shows. The service is good, fast, and friendly (all I need it to be). People complain of parking, but it's free after 6pm on the street anyways. Cons: This location has aged and needs a facelift badly. The place could be a step up if it were newer. read more

As a former starbucks barista, I can definitely sympathize with how crazy things feel when a rush hits. However, this place kinda has poor time management when it comes to getting mobile orders and café orders out in decent time... For instance, this morning I mobile ordered an iced americano and a scone. My drink was ready within 10 minutes because there were many (like 5) baristas making drinks.... However, my scone took over 15 minutes to be placed at the pick up area because there was only one employee working the food area. The quality of product here is fine, but you shouldn't rely on your order being ready quick if you're in a rush. read more

Both the service and the parking lot are terrible. If you park you cannot get out because the drive thru lane runs right through the parking lot. I've been sitting in the line for 30 minutes. I've waited an hour here before. Do not come here. read more

My favorite Starbucks in East Lansing! It's right across the street from campus on Grand River. It's small, but they have a lot of nice couches and tables. I come here quite often with my friends. Especially during finals week. Last time we went there every couple of hours they came around with free drink and food samples. Recent drink that I tried here which is great is the caramel brulee latte. So delicious! read more

I'm not a huge fan of the coffee taste but love my drinks with 1/2 the normal espresso. I went to get a tall white chocolate mocha for my birthday and the male barista working convinced me to get a grande and personally made it himself with 3/4 shot of espresso. The 2 stars are for the drinks and the employees. They are exactly what you expect at any busy Starbucks. However, I will never return to this particular location. Finding a parking spot is next to impossible. After finally accomplishing that, good luck finding a table not occupied by an obnoxious undergrad taking up way too much space! But I love my Starbucks coffee, so I make it work. I walk out of the building happy with my purchase, but by the time I drive away from the building, I'm frustrated and angry because the parking lot is absolutely atrocious. The people going through the drive-through are rude; they block the exit and don't let parked cars leave. This series of frustrating events has happened all three times I've been to this location. It's not worth it. I'll go to the on-campus location before I go back to this one even though I can't use Starbucks cards at the on-campus location. read more

This is the slowest Starbucks ever. I go to Starbucks regularly and am very understanding of when they're busy and training new people. However I am consistently waiting 15-20 minutes for my drinks. This morning I mobile ordered at 10:24 and didn't get my drink until 10:45. It's frustrating when I order on my way to class or work and then end up being late because I didn't order 30 minutes in advance. I'm not really a Starbucks person, but after becoming fed up with Espresso Royale I decided to walk a little out of my way today to Starbucks. I was expecting the corporate Starbucks feel but that is not what I got. This is far and away the best Starbucks I've ever been to. Obviously you're not going to get much other than expected in terms of product but the staff are great and the ambience is warm and comfortable.
