Craft Kits & Coffee first Monday of the month from 5-7 pm starting September 2024. Look at the fun drinks and yummy snacks!
    Delight of my Art b.

Abe allowed me to host a craft kit event here and everyone was enticed by the special drinks and pastries. I got a leek and parmesan pastry and a chocolate pastry and they were delicious! Attendees were served fancy drinks in differing glassware depending on what they ordered. We had an amazing time and everything was super yummy. We'll be back!

    Iced Pistachio Latte

One of my few favorite places to get coffee and pastries. It's never super busy whenever I go so the service is very fast and the staff are always friendly. It's a cute place to go to if you need to do studying or want to catch up with friends ! Quiet/chill environment and a convenient location.

The menu is really neat with some unique, traditional Yemenis items as well as typical items with a Middle Eastern Twist.

Galley-like set up as you walk in. Breakfast diner vibes more than 'cafe and bakery'. Kitchen to your left as you walk down short corridor into cafe. Sloth-like chill attitude encouraged; the hashtag is #letshangtogether. Had fun looking at all the little sloth decor throughout. Lots of light and glass. VERY limited seating; seats about 15 (?) inside; mostly 2 tops and a 6 top. When we walked in, we were greeted warmly, permitted to sit where ever we would like, then handed menus. Turkish music playing was just a bit too loud. Hospitality. Friendly and helpful. Owner-chef seemed very happy to be there, singing and engaging with his regulars. Offerings. Basic breakfast and lunch items with Turkish and Mediterranean classics. No flavored lattes but other basic espresso drinks offered. Chai was excellent. Had the Turkish coffee because it was a Turkish joint; was REALLY good; strong. We had the Simit Platter; sesame-like NY bagel, feta chunks, and olives. All very good. See pics. Apparently they offer cooking classes, catering, and meal prep pick-up -- for ever-changing healthier, fresh, easy-prep take-out options. Of Note and Last Impressions. Lot parking. Overall, fun.

It was tasty and even better with the bread they provided. It could've been packaged in a better way because the oil dripped out everywhere by the time we got it home. Maybe a plastic container with a tight fitting lid. The mezze platter was also quite nice, especially the carrot appetizer. The bulgur patties were also flavorful. The artichoke was slightly disappointing because it didn't have any other flavor than salt and vinegar, similar to canned/bottled artichokes. The salad was fresh and the dressing was light. Overall, this was a light and tasty lunch.

Had a seat and ordered a simple breakfast of 2 scrambled eggs white toast on white bread and a coffee. Out of curiosity I looked over the menu and saw the ~$20 omelletes that have become the norm these days, ridiculous. My order arrived quickly enough. The scrambeled eggs were the typical dried out flat blob on a plate, this is what passes for scrambeled eggs these days, toast equals wonder bread with fake butter on one side. This combination should be $4 max, nope $7. how 2 pieces of wonderbread and 2 dried out, flattened egg beaters is $7 is a mystery to me, those are omellete prices. Now the kicker, cup of coffee $4, this is a folgers crystal special with the little thimbles of "creamers"... $4?? Restaurant pricing has become absurd, yes food is up 15-20%, restaurant pricing is up 80-90% So Fernando's, what can I say, the staff is doing their job, the place is clean, just stop robbing people. I would never go back for sub standard food at premium price points, all you 5-star fanboys keep emptying your wallet for hospital cafeteria eggs and coffee, its your money.

She took an idea of a coffee and made the most delicious and nutty pistachio latte! There are plenty places to sit and gather or work solo while smelling the amazing aromas of all the coffees. Located in a plaza, there is plenty of parking. They offer sandwiches and sweet treats as well, the baklava is homemade! I ordered a hot drink, but an iced drink was set down in front of me and the barista mumbled something that I couldn't hear without really making eye contact, so I wasn't sure it was mine. She then looked at me with an unfriendly expression and said "that's yours". When I said I had ordered it hot, she just kind of stared at me. I felt uncomfortable, so I asked if it came in hot and all she said was "yeah" and looked around like she was annoyed at the thought of remaking one, so I said it was fine and took the iced drink. There was no apology for the mistake. Afterward, I watched her walk up to the cashier and say, "she said she ordered it hot," and they talked about it in a way that seemed like they didn't believe me which made me feel even more uncomfortable. I took my drink outside and went in a few times to get my food, napkins, and water and they were both usually gone in the back. The whole interaction felt rude and dismissive. The coffee wasn't great, it didn't taste like the flavoring at all, and the coffee beans tasted burnt. A drink plus a breakfast sandwich came out to almost $20. I won't be coming back.

The dark salted chocolate is a Belgian waffle but not your typical "we just used pancake mix to make your waffle". It was amazingly crunchy, sweet and satisfying. Also ordered the protein coffee and it wasn't so hot it would strip the tastebuds off my tongue but a very sensible "hot" coffee. You order at a kiosk and it's nice that they have a picture of every offering on the wall. Service is good. At least to me, place isn't very whimsical as I found the place very plain. Yes, I saw one round elven door but had no idea there were others. It's nice that they had toys and a table for the little ones but placement could have been better or more separated out since toys are between a regular table and the kids table. I assume if more children showed up it would be a bit challenging to be the table so very close to the toys. That said, sit away from the toys and make sure to order one of their delicious offerings!
