Here's the sample cup Ken gave me!
    Christina C.

Ken was very patient with me, as I was being indecisive, and not exactly sure what I wanted. He made a suggestion of breve vanilla latte. He then proceeded to make me a miniature size of it, and gave it to me to try; cuz he wanted to make sure I liked it. It was amazing! So I ended up ordering a venti size, cuz it was that good! What I appreciated the most, was Ken's excellent customer service, and he treated me like I was a friend. He was so very kind and patient. He definitely deserves a big raise!!! Just sayin. People like him need to be acknowledged, appreciated, and paid more, cuz they go above and beyond; like Ken. He is a prime example as to why an establishment gets a good reputation, and generates more business!

I didn't *want* Starbucks. What I wanted was a coffee from one of the shops on Ellicott City's Main Street. But the July flood happened and they're still recovering. So I'm here. It's a small-medium sized Starbucks with some tables and chairs plus a few tables outside. The usual selection of pastries and sandwiches. My double espresso was prepared quickly and properly in a "short" cup. The cheese danish was fresh and crumbly, as it should be. No drive through here though it would be a perfect location for it on this major surface road that heads towards Baltimore.

I've been coming here for a few years. Due to the pandemic, I appreciate they don't do indoor seatings and have plexi glass setup at the registers and pickup station. I got my first pumpkin spice latte for this fall season. Wait wasn't too long. There are I think 3 small tables to sit outside if you want.

Had a bacon egg and gouda sandwich I ate it before I remembered to take the pic.

It's a smallish space and indoor seating was really full at 11 AM on a weekday. Because of rain, the outdoor benches were not in use, and I saw closed-up patio-umbrellas too. I ordered from a kiosk or you could order online or in person. I got the bacon egg and cheese croissant and it was made quickly by welcoming staff. It was a regular size croissant with very light cheese and a layer of crispy bacon pieces in a well toasted croissant. The flavor was good. This café also sells a number of beverages, including fresh ground espresso, and various teas And they sell some bakery goods, candies, and quite a variety of dry-packaged teas and coffee. The parking right in front Café Jun can get pretty full, but there's plenty parking in the rest of the shopping center. You can enter the shopping area from eastbound US-40 Baltimore National Pike, or from westbound Frederick Road. It's just east of Centennial Lane/Bethany Lane and about a mile West of US 29. The larger shopping area has a diner 3-strip mall sections, one of which is called Princess Shopping Center, so I'm a little confused which mall-name covers which shops. They have a summer concert planned! That should be fun!

People do seem to respect the 90MIN seating window though so you should be able to find a seat. You order and pay at the counter first and then they give you a table number card. This is how they find you to serve your food. I ordered a regular matcha latte, a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on croissant bread and their famous croffle. I loved their matcha latte. It's pre-sweetened so no need to add extra vanilla syrup or anything. This does not taste like a traditional matcha, which in my opinion tastes like dirt. This is a sweeter, dessert like matcha. I didn't care for the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. It was kind of dry and it tasted like something was missing. The croffle was amazing. It has a nutty, pecan like taste to it and it was topped with vanilla gelato and blueberries. I couldn't really taste the maple syrup but it was delicious nonetheless.

My girlfriend & I were here for Mardi Gras on Saturday, March 1. We had lunch, wine tasting, listened to music, looked in shops, & went to the Historical museum. In between some of that, she mentioned Little Market Cafe was giving out King Cake donuts at least to kids for free. I said that sounded good even if they charge us. There was a long line outside; so this place is clearly pretty popular. We ordered 2 donuts & split a latte. The cashier was very nice and answered which lattes he recommended. The King cake donut was delicious, and the latte was top notch in deliciousness too. We sat outside on that mild, windy March 1st. They have plenty of outdoor seats & seating around a fire pit area too. Great business, but I imagine they struggle in the winter with the outdoor only. If I'm ever in Old Town Ellicott City, I'd definitely keep Little Market Cafe in mind.

After that, they went from a small coffee shop window to a full kitchen. They have sandwiches, pizza, breakfasts, and coffee of all kinds. My sandwich sounded so good, but the bacon was not crisp, couldn't taste the jam in it, and just seemed like the turkey sandwich I pack for my lunches for work. The biggest benefit of this place is the outdoor seating. On a nice day, it is the best place to hang out with a half decent cup of specialty coffee.
