Very nice because it has a drive through but you've got a 50/50 chance on your barista. Sometimes they're super nice and friendly and other times hey are so rude you feel bad that their coworkers have to deal with them. I've had multiple people laugh at my order and ask me if I'm serious. Is a Breve Late with some sugar...? Didn't need your opinion. Hit or miss but it's worth a shot. read more

OMG thank you for removing power! I am not kidding here people, this is a true blessing. We had a major issue with homeless and to anyone not to familiar with the area it would seem like the employees aren't doing anything to clean up. The problem has been the volume and the inability to get them out. The police don't want to deal with it because it made them nothing in the process and honestly what the heck can they really do. The place is nice and clean, the internet is snappy again, and the staff look less frustrated. This will be a win all around. read more

This Starbucks location is in the heart of downtown Eureka. Everyone is so nice and inviting whether you order inside or in the drive thru. It's a great place to hang out.. there's even a nice fireplace inside the seating area. read more

My $5 grande white mocha was filled up maybe three quarters of the way, and then filled with whip cream.

They don't know what large is, nor do they know what a caffe macchiato is. Avoid this place, and all other chains like it with the same name. Staff is nice, managers were mostly trolls. They used to have outside heated seating. Which was nice in the winter. But they neglected to think about the community it moved into, and homeless frequently would buy the cheapest possible thing and camp. Off center downtown in Eureka... This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. It always! takes more than 15 minutes to get through the drive through. Yesterday I get to the window, pay and then watch the employees hang out and talk. When I glared hard enough to get one of their attention, she asked me what I wanted. I stated I wanted my drink that I was late. She said oh I can make that. Then I watched her make it. So I thought I would try the app to order ahead and save time. I get there no drink. Instead of simply making it when I showed them the receipt they took the time to argue with me about how they didn't get the order. I won't even try anymore. I know my 1 or 2 drinks a week aren't a lot of money, but it's money Starbucks will no longer receive. read more

In the last month I ordered my usual green tea latte around 1pm. I thought the tea tasted funny and it turned out the milk was sour, I ended up with a stomach ache. The staff are always so friendly and helpful I didn't know how to tell them they gave me a drink with sour milk, so I didn't say anything. Three weeks later I came on and ordered a iced green tea latte this time with coconut milk to avoid the sour milk. Half way through the iced tea latte I got a red chunk of something. I think/hope it was a piece of berry. I came in and asked to speak w/a manager to tell them what happened both times. They just act like it was no big deal and didn't apologize. They must have thought I wanted something for free, I didn't. They need quality control. I've spent hundreds there on the last year alone. I'm not going back and that sucks because they make my favorite tea. read more

Pretty good service in the drive thru. The guy that is usually working jokes around and makes it fun that you just waited 15 minutes in your car for coffee. The inside has some nice fireplaces that make it warm and a comfortable spot for meetings. read more

This is such a great Starbucks. I love the layout of this place. I've never seen a Starbucks with a drive thru like that. I was in the drive thru last night just getting a tea. The car in front of me was taking forever on their order. "I want a blended drink but not a frappichino and I want it sugar free but with tons of chocolate chips in it. And I don't want caffeine but I want expresso" the man at the drive thru was being very patient with her even though this was going on for 10 mins. The manager came out and gave everyone their orders for free and he even steered everyone out of the drive thru safety because we could not go around the front woman. Came here to find out what "outlet abuse" might be. I think kinda less of Eureka for the focus on "keeping the homeless out". Let's assume, since there does seem to be a theme in the reviews of this place of homeless patrons, that some of their behaviour was pretty bad. Why not simply ban those individuals? I was a tourist with a dead smartphone battery who wanted to book a hotel room in town, on a scouting mission to see if maybe I wanted to relocate myself and my business here, and I was really put off by the reaction when I asked about an electrical outlet. People. We have homeless in Palo Alto and Sunnyvale too, and Starbucks there doesn't deal with it by reducing the amenities for all their customers, many of whom are road warriors. You can be an inbred little country town scared of homeless people if you want, but I think a lot less of you for it. Patronize the numerous non-corporate family restaurants and indie bake shops I saw driving around instead! Hopefully some of them have better sense than this read more

Worst SB's I've been to in a while - and I'm in a lot of Starbuck's regularly. Had 6 people working on drive-through orders while I stood inside to order - no one even looked up to greet me as I listened to the way-too-loud music.o0 Once I finally ordered (coffee with cream), she poured the coffee and then set it down behind the counter and started opening bags of coffee (or whatever the bags were), never making eye contact or letting me know why she wasn't handing me my coffee. Eventually someone else came over, grabbed the lid of my coffee with her entire hand, including the park you drink through, filled it with coffee. Set it down where I could reach it - again no eye contact or speaking. I grabbed it, sat down, and then the same employee who had put her hand all over the lid came out to mop, apparently not registering the fact that chairs don't need to be tossed back into position. One chair she picked up high, did a 180, and slammed it on the ground, scaring the $#^& out of me. The rest of the mopping just involved her scraping the chairs across the floor. Having seen her hoist one, I know she could have picked them up to scoot them in. Just as I finish writing, I watch an employee run his hand through his long hair (3 times) before getting back to the beverage he's walking on. Maybe they're exempt from health code at this location. read more

Love the drive thru at this location. The staff are a fun group (a few jokesters here!) Fast and consistent. Need a quick lunch? Try the Protein Bistro Box-for $4.95 and 370 calories, my go-to lunch when time is crunching. Yes, it's corporate, some people have a strong aversion to this alone, but I love Starbucks especially when I'm traveling. This place always has great employees. I ordered the new chocolate dink. It was very good. The place is always clean. Great place to have a coffee and talk to friends. Last week I went into a restaurant and told the cashier there was a mess in the restroom she sighed and acted like I was asking her to clean the whole restaurant. I went to the Starbucks today and the bathroom reeked of cologne. I went to the cashier told her she smiled and said she'll get it taken care of right away. You can always tell a well-managed restaurant when the employees smile say thank you and take care of the problem. You guys always have good employees! read more

Considering they're the only "non-local" coffee in town, they do their best to assimilate. A bulletin board inside keeps locals posted on upcoming events, and let's be honest, everyone's meeting up here. For drive-thru coffee, they're easily the fastest in town. Sometimes that even means waiting in line 10+ minutes during busier mornings, but it's a small price to pay for consistent, quality drinks. The woman who offers me "a pluggy-dug" for hot drinks makes me chuckle, and some of the other baristas even remember me by name, so they win some "local charm" points in spite of their corporate allegiance. read more

I was literally here from 9 am to 430 pm. The staff is courteous and friendly, not super quick on taking orders. Ive had a blended chai and two iced teas, lol, all of which were great, especially the blended chai!! I had a tomato basil panini for the first time and I would order again. The sausage sandwich was good too, surprisingly better than other places. Place was clean. No complaints there. This location had a fire in the middle with the tables surrounding the fire which was awesome because I was next to the fire the entire time. Only downfall which is why I gave it 4 stars is because I literally thought this was the LOUDEST Starbucks I have EVER been in. EVER. The grinder was constantly going and sounded broken so it was freaking amazingly loud. The echo was horrible, the layout of tables and chairs had zero thought. It was small and tight and awkward. It didnt give off an inviting cafe feel but more of a come n get it and leave feel. If I knew the area better I wouldve spent my day elsewhere. (I was here for business related purposes.) read more

I don't go to Starbucks often, because I live in stinkin Willow Creek, but sometimes my boyfriend and I will go here on a Sunday afternoon. They offer coconut milk which is so awesome for those of us who have food allergies, the coconut milk tastes so good. I prove getting their smoothies and my favorite has always been the Strawberries and Cream. Their blueberry muffins rock, and so do their breakfast sandwiches.
