Cute and spacious cafe with good seating options and a nice atmosphere. The baristas were sweet and very friendly, adding to the postive experience to this relaxing spot, making it 4 stars. Food and coffee is just OK. The quality of the espresso/latte was okay and I did not enjoy the beef empanada... didn't really taste like a beef empanada at all for what I'm used to, I actually couldn't finish. There wasn't much beef in there and it was pretty hollow and the shell was thin and crispy so don't be fooled by the size. I got an oatmeal cookie for the road and that was good to have. Anywho for the location, friendly service and atmosphere, I'd likely stop again if I'm in the area and wanted to relax or fresh up and give the other bakery items a try I think there were other food items too. Its worth a stop if you want a little break in a nice cafe with a warm/cozy feel. I loved the windows for all the natural lighting. Bonus: its connected to an outdoor clothing shop which was open much earlier than majority of the other stores so that was a life saver when I needed to get a jacket in the morning. Easy access from the Interstate, if you need to grab a cup of coffee or something to munch on before you head out deeply into the mountains, this place is for you. Spacious parking lot right in front, the shop itself is quite roomy. I was pleased with the wide range of sandwiches and pastries (both sweet and savory) to choose from. I was especially happy to see that they have several different flavors of empanadas. They also have some board games for the diners to play to kill time if they end up staying there for a little longer for whatever reason. With that said, this is simply not a place for a quick "grab and go" occasion only. It may not be super ambient but not a bad place to sit down and relax either. We got a canned sparkling soda, matcha latte, premade sandwich and empanada. A bit pricey though because technically speaking, they are in the mountains so their price ms are somewhat close to what you might see at a typical ski resort nearby. Every time I head up I-70 into the mountains, I make it a point to stop here. It's not a cheap spot, but the service is always top-notch - the people working here are genuinely friendly and welcoming! I love their coffee, and I'm a big fan of the bacon quiches. Today I decided to kick off leaf-peeping season with a pumpkin spice latte, and it was incredible and not too sweet. In the summer, I usually go for their lavender lattes, which are delicious. The atmosphere is cozy, and you really can't beat the mountain views from this spot. Definitely worth a stop if you're heading that way! read more

It's conveniently right off the highway, and they have items beyond coffee and pastries. I'll always try a new coffee shop over gas station coffee. On our drive from Denver to Glenwood Springs, we stopped by for fuel next door and I walked over to this shop! It's connected to a ski and gift shop - if you need any of those items. Hubs got a black iced tea which met his expectation, while I got a dark roast vanilla almond milk latte. It stands apart from the chain competitors. I'm no good at identifying the notes in coffees, but this one is pretty good and smooth. Kids got bottled lemonade iced tea which was more tart than they were expecting but no fault of the coffee shop. There was a decent seating area. Prices were on par as well. I'd go back if we ever took this trip again. read more
